I’ve been able to achieve it on my end. It took some code customization, but it is definitely possible. https://www.jamesshulerphotography.com
Nevermind guys — I figured it out. It’s corrected both on the desktop and on the mobile side. Sorry to bug ya! Have a good one!
Hey Victoria! You rock! Thank you so much! That’s the fix I was looking for. Have a great day! :-)
In the footer section, in the copyright field (as he said) just type —-> [nolink] Copyright 2019 ……. <—- and then your information here.
February 26, 2019 at 8:01 pm in reply to: How to make video automatically play when landing on page? #1071936Your video is quite long as has sound, etc. so this may not be ideal. But I see this topic being brought up more and more. With IOS and Android’s latest round of updates, relaxing the grip on video – it can work (again, as long as certain attributes in the video are met and set).
February 26, 2019 at 7:59 pm in reply to: How to make video automatically play when landing on page? #1071935I’ve been able to achieve this on mobile and desktop — check out my site at https://www.jamesshulerphotography.com. I’m not sure if this is what you’re referring to — but this is what I was after. There are regulations with HTML5 with regards to sound, attributes, etc. I’m utilizing this for marketing, etc. and it’s really taking off. I’m utilizing a hybrid of vimeo and self hosted mp4s — the ones at the top of each page (and I’m still working on other pages) are all self hosted — hence the poster image that you may see for a second or two.
Absolutely love Enfold! I’ve been using it for years and I just keep tweaking here and there where I need to. My site is very media driven and Enfold has been right there with me the whole way! https://www.jamesshulerphotography.com. You guys are great! Thank you for the great support for all of us here!
Scratch this guys — I finally found it after inspecting the element in the browser and then plugging in “lighter” for the font weight. Absolutely freaking love your theme guys! I get compliments continually on my website. All thanks to you all! Thank you for all that you do and your time here on the forum!
My website is full of video everywhere and I’ve kept up with the latest trends on the mobile side and what you’re asking for doesn’t make any sense to me. Do you know of a site now that has the capability? You acknowledged in your earlier post that you know “that autoplay feature is disabled on mobile devices by default” but then state that “It is a fact that you can put autoplay muted videos on mobile.” Again, show me a site that can do this now — b/c I would sure like to know of one.
Not quite — this will work, but not really what I’m after. I was hoping “most recent posts” would like “Most recent posts” and “latest on facebook” would look normal like “Latest on facebook.” Everything else is working correctly on the H1 H2 tags, blog post titles, etc. like it should with the CSS I implemented there. I would like to just have this corrected, if possible. And is it also to know the CSS to replace the date / my name on the blog posts? If you click any of the blog posts on the first page, you’ll notice at end of the blog post, it has the date and my name in all CAPS. Is there CSS that will correct this also? Thanks again!
This reply has been marked as private.Ok, scratch the tags question – I figured that one out. Lol. I just need assistance with the CSS on the footer when you guys have time. Thanks again!
Oh, and I just noticed the “tags” font is all capitalized as well. Thank you guys in advance!
Thank you Sir! You guys are great! Thanks again for looking into this for me. Have a good one!
Gotcha. Site link is listed in the private content. Thanks again for your time!
Hey Jordan –
I’m just referring to any of the blog posts pages, not a specific page in general. I would just like to see if it is possible to reduce the size of the fonts that are using the TAGS. Thanks
Scratch this guys — I’m good. Just blew away the folder and reloaded it. I’m back up and running now.
I have found that I cannot edit any pages now or make changes.
I’m getting the same here on my site. Not sure what happened. Most likely something on the instagram API side
Enfold is the best theme out there, period! I use it to showcase a lot of my videography and photography work and I’m constantly updating things – but here is my website: http://www.jamesshulerphotography.com. I only wish you could utilize videos for blog post featured images, but I realize that opens up a can worms as to how everyone wants things displayed. I’m fine with getting around that for now with all the video I have on my main page. Thanks again staff at Enfold! You guys rock!
February 14, 2018 at 9:55 pm in reply to: Embedding Mediazilla videos to match height & width #912515My apologies — I forgot that was only for moderators — i was thinking for some reason you could see that. Anyway, here’s what I posted below:
Another option that you can do is do what I did — and have video playing on the website itself and then have it call the MZ video within a lightbox. Check out my website (www.jamesshulerphotography.com). I use to have a whole lot more video on here playing, but I felt like it was getting a little “too busy” on the page — but I’m definitely after the wow effect for the end user, and it seems to work. Anyway, they are links now, but in the past, I’ve called MZ videos from these videos and did it that way. Right now, each of this clips is calling a vimeo video and that way, they resize no matter what the user does. Then from there, they can call the MZ video b/c at that point, they usually go full screen anyway. Hope that helps as I ran into the same issue as you did in the past — this is the route I took.

February 14, 2018 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Embedding Mediazilla videos to match height & width #912394I use Mediazilla as well. You can always just jump on a basic aspect ratio calculator website (here’s one —> https://calculateaspectratio.com/) and plug in the dimensions from there to know what you’ll need to put in within the mediazilla code (i.e. 640×360, 480×270, etc). Hope this helps!
Fantastic! Thank you so much! Best theme and best support ever!
Nevermind guys — I found the solution. I applied the fix from Ismael’s link (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/2-videos-on-same-page-only-one-auto-plays/?login_error) and this seems to have done the trick! Woo Hoo! Have a great weekend coming up everyone!
Love the Enfold theme! The best theme out there. My site is at http://www.jamesshulerphotography.com (check it out on a PC/Mac/Linux workstation). I do a great deal of video and this theme rocks. There is only one final feature request I would like to see implemented for Enfold with regards to video, but other than that — I get constant feedback on how my site looks. Thanks guys for all that you do!

Thank you Nikko! This worked perfectly! Appreciate your time
Scratch this request guys – I’m good. Thx!
Did you try pulilng down a text block or video element into the content section? Also, have you flushed your browser cache completely? That’s what happened on my end, and I’m working fine now
Hey guys! I’m good on this end. I cleared my browser cache in Chrome and waa-lah! It showed up. Have a great week and thanks for all of your support on Enfold!
