Hi Rikard
Thanks for the update.
Do you have some more news by any chance now? I guess there will be an Enfold update this week, is that correct?I would love to test the ALB and Gutenberg in parallel with WP 5.0 RC1 already.
Best
MichaelStrange…
Replaced header.php (one more time) – now it works.Replaced header.php – now it works.
Hi Nikko
You are right, thanks!
After switching to the parent theme, lightbox works as it should. Now I have to figure out which code in my child theme makes it impossible for the lightbox feature to work normally…
Best regards
MichaelHi Victoria
As other people have the same issue, it is the same problem for everyone.
Is it not possible that you could tell me what I should do please?I would like to solve it by myself if you tell me how I can do it.
Thanks a lot – much appreciated
MichaelHi Nikko
I have the same issue and reported it in a different thread as well, see
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/images-open-in-new-tab-instead-of-lightbox/#post-1033133As mentioned, I already replaced my child theme header.php with the one from the child theme but unfortunately no luck yet.
Lightbox is still not working for me and opens the image in a tab. Thanks for letting me know how to solve it
MichaelHi Yigit
Thanks a lot for the update.
Is there a timeline for the new Enfold release which will be able to handle Gutenberg? I guess it will be Enfold 4.6.Very curious when the new release is planned for.

Best,
MichaelHi
I just tried what @Guenni007 suggested and replaced my header.php in the child theme (copied it from the parent).
Unfortunately this does not change anything at all.Is there something else that does the trick to bring the nice lightbox behaviour for images back?
Thank you so much
MichaelHi Rikard
Yes it tweaked it slightly to make footer and socket sticky to the bottom but yes, it’s working as it should as far as I can judge.
You can consider this thread as solved. It can be closed.Thank you very much
MichaelStill waiting for an update from Kriesi here (see my original questions).
Hi Joanna
Am besten klickst du hier links einfach auf mein Profilbild.
Dort findest du dann meine Kontaktdaten.Viele Grüsse
MichaelHi Rikard
Thanks a lot – it looks pretty good already.
For some reason my custom background image in the footer is not visible anymore. I changed the value for “attachment” to “scroll” now as it did not work when I had “fixed” there. Now it is visible again.Best regards
MichaelHi Joanna
As previously mentioned I can help you if you want.
In order to do that you would have to create a temporary admin login for me so I check it in detail.Or you can wait for their response as well if you want.

MichaelHi Rikard
If it is only possible like that, alright.
Please check the notes in private content. They are probably very busy as they get a lot of support issues every day.
Hi @crtdude
I fully agree with your statement.
However, I do have one question regarding the auto update: Why do you write that auto update to WP 5.0 will cause a lot of issues? As far as I know, major updates normally have to be done manually via the dashboard. Auto update of core major relases e.g. 4.9 to 5.0 are disabled by default – no?
With minor releases you are right, e.g. 4.9.7 to 4.9.8 happens automatically if you don’t disable it beforehand.Best and thanks for the clarification
MichaelHi Joanna
Well, I would have to dig deeper into your website in order to find a solution for it. However, it can be solved with specific CSS tweaks.
In my opinion, there is no other solution than CSS to make it fully responsive. This is just my opinion and point of view, you can try it by yourself or I could help you if you want.Best regards

I would go for the method via FTP – this works for sure.
Please check the step by step guide I provided in one of my previous comments here.Good luck and best,
MichaelHi @havi
The update for Enfold 4.5 is available since October 15th.
If you have entered your Envato credentials in your WP backend it should show up there, but you have to do this update manually anyway. I recommend using (S)FTP for it.Good luck :)
Best,
MichaelHi guys
I just wanted to test (in a local environment) how far Enfold 4.5 is connected to Gutenberg.
Preconditions
- Core version: WordPress 5.0-beta1-43832
- Enfold 4.5
- No plugins installed
Result
Besides the Gutenberg editor, no avia page builder is visible at all for any pages or posts.Questions
1) Is the only solution for now to install the “Classic Editor” plugin if I want to test Enfold 4.5 with WP 5.0?
2) Timeline: When will it be possible to test Enfold 4.5 with WP 5.0 and Gutenberg activated, so the theme page builder can be used properly? Thanks a lot for any helpful answer and have a great day
MichaelJust found this thread:
Well, right now, if you combine Enfold 4.5 with WP 5.0 beta version, it will not work unfortunately.
This is why I started this thread to hopefully get more information about it. I think it is pretty crucial.Did you go through my step by step guide?
I guess this time the best solution is to update via FTP, because the Envato API changed and I can imagine this can’t really be fixed by Kriesi. If you update it via FTP this time, you will be connected to the new API afterwards and the auto update via WP dashboard will work as usual.
Hallo Joanna
In diesem Block hast du dann zwei Spalten.
Klappt dies so?
Liebe Grüsse
MichaelHi
Please try the same in a private mode window in your browser and it will work.
(the issue is connected to a browser cookie)Best,
MichaelOctober 27, 2018 at 3:24 pm in reply to: URGENT BUSINSESS FAILING after 13 years, suspect error in Robots.txt- or??? #1027050In my opinion you should have a robots.txt file like this. Simply 2 lines:
User-agent: * Sitemap: https://www.buddhistmala.com/sitemap_index.xml
Hi Alena
Have you also tried to update via FTP already?
If not, please try the following guide in order to update to Enfold v4.5.Update your website manually via FTP:
1) Make a full backup of your website using a backup plugin.
2) Safe the backup somewhere outside from the webserver of your website (e.g. on your local computer or in any cloud storage you trust).
3) Sign out from your WordPress website.
4) Go to your themeforest account, sign in and download the updated Enfold v4.5 to your computer. Extract it and search for the file enfold.zip. Extract this file as well to already have your folder ready to be uploaded.
5) Sign in to FTP or SFTP using FileZilla or any other tool which is able to do that.
6) Go to the folder ./wp-content/themes and search for “enfold”. If you want, you can download the enfold folder to your computer as well (just in case you want to restore if afterwards which is easier like that than using the whole backup).
7) Delete the folder enfold via FTP. This may take 5-10min, depending on the server speed obviously.
8) Wait until it is finished and the enfold folder is gone. If that is the case, upload the “new” enfold folder including v4.5 to your website in the same directory.
9) Sign in to your WordPress website again and go to the Enfold tab (or the one from your child theme). Scroll down to the tab called Theme Update.
10) Your current API token will not work anymore as Envato changed some stuff on their API. Therefore you need to remove your current key and generate a new private key as visible in your themeforest account under “Settings” -> “API keys”. Go to https://build.envato.com and follow the steps there. To me, https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#toggle-id-5 was also very helpful (scroll down a bit there to find out about the permissions your private API key needs in order to check for future Enfold updates). Without these permissions it will not work.
11) Enter your generated Envato key in an incognito/private mode browser window. After revalidating your new private key within the Enfold update tab, you should see a blue rectangle saying when it could be checked for the last time.
12) Done!I hope this helps!
