The link button isn’t working either. http://www.michaelalbany.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Selection-boxes.jpg
Andy, Thank you. However updating did not fix the issue.
Well now they are showing in the lightbox area, which they weren’t last week. You can close this ticket.
Just an FYI, where you are looking (your screen shot) is A) not the caption to an image, but the description of a product and B) not on the product page. If you click through to the product you would get a better idea of where I was talking about.
This issue is kind of pressing. Any ideas yet?
Also look in an email inbox for I (Email address hidden if logged out) I sent it there too yesterday. Not that I know if there IS actually an info@ box but I took a guess.
Perfect! Thank you!
I have 5 copies of the theme and all are outstanding!
Charlie,
I wasn’t aware you weren’t using Enfold. However any compatible slider will do the trick. The catch is do you need it to be full page rather than full frame, AKA in the Box. Once you resolve the full frame issue the full frame slider will do what you want. If you set the background to static (not sure if this is even an option with Kriesl themes, but it can be done in CSS somehow), then use the PNG images it will work.
Basically your background fills the browser and the slider works over top of that. If your browser is say, 1500×430 do this:
1. Make your images 1500×430 in Photoshop
2. Keep the background transparent
3. Add a guideline to where you want the text to appear (height)
4. Set a second guide at Vertical 50%
5. Set your text tool to Center Justify
8. Add text to the cross section of the guides
9. File – Save for Web – Save as PNG 24 named Slide01.pngFor your second slide:
10. Hide your first text layer
11. Add a new layer
12. Repeat steps 8 & 9 changing the file name to Slide02.pngRepeat for as many slides as needed.
Add the slides to your slider in numeric oder.
Set your transition to Slide Right to Left
Test.It should work perfectly.
Sorry it took me a day to reply. I didn’t see the notice until just now.
January 13, 2015 at 5:24 pm in reply to: Masonry Gallery – disable "Scroll to Top" button? (Plus 1) #378928Yigit, Thank you and thank Ismael for me too! That work perfectly!
May I suggest that you at least post your time zone for support? I am guessing its about, GMT +2? If I have expectations that are accurate I can plan much better.
Thanks again!
I’m just another coder like you but the way this is done is that the image is a PNG image with just the Whole Foods text and the shadowing. the sliders are transparent images with just the text and they slide over the background. An easy way to achieve this is set your background image, Then place your text image under the slider (or the slider on top of the text image), add text slides to the slider. Done.
January 12, 2015 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Masonry Gallery – disable "Scroll to Top" button? (Plus 1) #378327Thank you Ismael but that didn’t work. I have added an image (first one) to the masonry gallery on the home page for you to see what I am trying to remove. I figure use the gallery, why not. http://dev1.madomains.com
I did find some code to make the blog full width that precedes the code you sent. Under Enfold, General Styling, Quick CSS I have the following.
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper > *, #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper {
max-width: 100%;
}a#scroll-top-link {
/* display: none !important; */
}Is the first one conflicting? If so how may I achieve both eliminating the button and have full width everything?
Thanks!
PS – If I get this all worked out I may be migrating a good portion of my 48 sites/clients over the next year. Well, as many as are willing to pay for the transition and new theme. In that regard can you send a link to the Child Theme info too?
“mailto: (Email address hidden if logged out) ” would be a link to email
I was just testing this. Try setting your post type to standard and just checking the box under the featured image to “Don’t display image on single post”
I think that will fix your issues. Now for me to figure out how to set the post width… That is my issue.
super, You can test your site here: http://responsivedesignchecker.com I can say though that there is a great possibility that parallax effects won’t work on mobile browsers. Especially iOS Safari if the motion is set to reduce motion to reduce battery use.
paso – I’m just another user of the theme but your first gallery is working at 100% for me. I am on a Mac, OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) using the current versions of Firefox and Safari (in fact I updated Safari just 1 hour ago).
