Hmmm, ok. Then how do I insert an Easy Slider INSIDE a tab or Accordion so that it’s still responsive but scales up properly from a closed tab state?
Oh my God. Thank you!!! I was having a panic attack. NO idea why this happened. Does it turn off by itself for any weird reason? Maybe when you use a template? That was the last thing I did, and for the first time, before it went away. Completely freaked out for the last hour. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE!!!!
July 15, 2013 at 4:09 pm in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129705I’m trying to see if other responsive sliders will work within a tab, and they sorta do. When set to responsive/scaling they resize too tiny to see, if you click to the tab with the slider from another tab.
So . . . is there a way to dynamically refresh the size of tab when you click it, or force it to always be a certain minimum height via media queries, even when hidden/closed? I think that would be an ok workaround.
Hopefully we can find a solution soon. Thanx.
July 15, 2013 at 2:55 pm in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129704Is there a way to use “display:none” inline with [av_layerslider id=’10’] inside the AV shortcode editor under the template builder? I think maybe that might fix it. I just don’t know what the syntax would be and don’t want to break my WordPress.
July 15, 2013 at 2:51 pm in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129703Also just tried nesting it within the AV shortcodes on under the main template builder, similar to this :
Code:[av_tab title='Our Students' icon_select='no' icon='']
[av_layerslider id=’10’]
[/av_tab]Still got the fatal error.
July 15, 2013 at 2:46 pm in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129702Went into debug mode via instructions in another post and tried to use the shortcode that appears in under the template builder when you insert a layerslider on the page, like this [av_layerslider id=’10’] into one of the Tabs inside the popup Tab editor, but it just threw a fatal error at : ……../enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 121
Anything else I can try? Feels like it’s possible.
Ok, great, where can I send the link? I don’t want it to be public for sake of my client. Thank you.
Hi Devin,
While I completely understand that, my question in need of support is :
Quote:What class(es) do I need to alter to get it to look like the picture? In other words, have a bottom border on the non-active tabs.
Spent about 10 hours yesterday trying to figure it out, and it just keeps boggling my mind. Every time I assign a background color to the non-active tabs, it covers the line below it. And if I change the z-index of that div to compensate, then the line on the active tab shows too :(
With 1.3 I did it in about 5 minutes, no problem. But no properties I play with on any class in 1.7.1 through chrome’s Dev Tools seemed to work.
Please help. Thank you.

Thank you. I will try this on Monday. Not sure why, but I don’t seem to be getting email notifications of updates from these forums. Shouldn’t I?
My Wish List :
- Nestable Components : Place Tabs inside an Accordion or Tabs inside a Tab, & have each styled separately.
- Content Element – Code/Class Wrapper : Add a class or ID to any particular area of the page builder
- Search Icon : Optionally move next to Social Media Icons.
- Custom Icons : Easy way to add own SVG/PNG icon to Entypo.
- Tab / Accordion Builder Improvements :
- Add “+10” which opens 10 stacked input fields you can quickly tab through for setup.
- Import text or csv file (great for huge FAQs)
- Advanced Page Builder / Editor available within the Tab / Accordion interface
- Shortcodes available for each Accordion / Tabs
- Clone individual components (Tabs / Accordions) from one page to another
- Save & set custom style presets dropdown
- Animated and more tab positioning options, similar to http://codecanyon.net/item/tabs-accordion/full_screen_preview/2906434 which also happens to be nestable :)
- Menu :
- Adjust opacity of menu background to be able to see content as it scrolls up
- Toggle and/or adjust resizing/squashing of menu size when scrolling up
- Support Forum : Taggable voting mechanism – with thumbs up/down and counter for feature requests.
Ok, that should solve the custom icon issue. Thank you!
Could you tell me how to move the Search (with the same rollover / click functionality) next to Social Icons? So basically, the Search Icon, with the same rollover / look & feel of the Social Media icons.
I’ve read through the tutorial, but don’t see a way to add a custom icon.
I would like to use a custom “blog” icon from here http://helloworlddesignco.com/web-design-news-portland-oregon.php?pid=1 as one of the social media icons. How would I transfer it to the webfont format that seems to be needed (via fontello) in order to use it?
Thanx Ismael,
1) I’m using “Header with Social Icons and bottom Navigation”
2) Thanx. I’ll look through this.
Is there an email I can send you a link to? Don’t want to post the site publicly.
