    Hi!

Since you replied on themeforest that its happening for you and your client but I cant see it: mind posting a screenshot?
Also which browser and operating system are you using?

    Hey johnebase!

which page do you get the error? I checked the site but it didnt happen for me. Could it be that this is a browser caching issue and an older jquery version is loaded by accident? In that case you should be able to solve it by simply clearing your browser cache by holding the shift button and pressing reload

    Kriesi

    Hi!

Should actually be already available for you in your backend at enfold->blog layout->Related Entries ;)

in reply to: Ajax Contact Forms Doesn't Work! #288587

    Hey!

I will look into the issue but I am currently not really sure why this happens. As Josue said there might be better ways to accomplish this than to add a single form to each portfolio entry. The whole system is not really designed to work that way. Will do my best to fix this with one of the next releases, but to be honest: I cant guarantee that I will find an easy solution without more people reporting the error and adding additional insight…

    Kriesi

    Hi!

I think I finally found a solution for the bug. Will be included with the next update ;)

in reply to: Issues after updating to latest version #284560

    Hi!
I did login (as I said before) and for me it looks exactly the same on back and frontend. I dont see any code mess…

    Frontend:
    http://cl.ly/WH5j

    Backend:
    http://cl.ly/WIin

The only problem I see is when the browser window gets scaled down, but I posted the easiest solution that I can think of above.

As for the screenshot: You can only link to images here. either upload them to your webspace or use an image service like http://imgur.com/ ;)

    Best regards,
    Kriesi

    Hey Ran!

The account for your customer has been created and password with login and email should be on its way.

Since you are a long term Envato user who actually replied on my first thread ever on themeforest 6 years ago ( http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/how-long-do-items-sell/7257 ) I think I’ll just leave your account open ;)
I trust that if you ever use one of our themes you get the proper license ;) That way you dont need to re-open an account ;)

in reply to: Issues after updating to latest version #284181

    Hi!

please post a link to the screenshot here, if you dont want to make it available for the general public you can mark it as a private reply of course ;)

Truth to be told I am not sure if the layerslider team have changed anything with the recent updates (which we of course included into the theme) that would completely mess up your existing slides. only thing that I can say is that it worked perfectly for everyone else…

You can also ask them if they got a better solution than my idea to use images instead of text which would scale nicely on smaller devices…

in reply to: Issues after updating to latest version #283800

    Hi!

I think your problem is based on the fact that images are by default responsive and text is not. Meaning if an image has less space it gets smaller in size, text however keeps its size and the line breaks just shift to a different position. This is causing all your problems. I have changed a few settings to see if I can get it to work and on my mac it looks just fine in front and backend: http://cl.ly/WH5j

However if I reduce the browser width to simulate a mobile device this does no longer work. The only solution I can think of would be to create an image that already contains the text so the text can scale as well…

    Hey!

I am going to use your other thread here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/issues-after-updating-to-latest-version/ since it is the one with the login credentials for an answer. I am afraid I need some more information :)
    Cheers!

    Hey!
will be fixed in the next update, thanks :)
    Regards,
    Kriesi

    you are welcome ;)

Great. Just note that he wont be able to create an account here. desired username and email is sufficient. if the account is created on themeforest first thats fine of course. that way we can be certain that it isnt already taken ;)

    Hi!

Sure, we can do that. Since the purchase code is connected to your account by themeforest I cant really use that at all, therefore you need to post the desired username and email address for the customer here :)

in reply to: Layer Slider Bug after migration #282759

    Hey Mark!

First of all I was actually referring to Tybo576 ;)
Second I am afraid I dont have the login credentials since they were not posted in this thread. Please either provide them as a private reply or I will ask josue to do so, as it seems he somehow got them.

The function “get_template_directory_uri” is correctly named and used. It is a default wordrpress function: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_template_directory_uri
Changing that to “get_template_directory_url” would probably cause a fatal php error since the function does not exist.

Third: I am aware that this is frustrating and I am sorry for that but out of 30.000 people using the theme you are only one person with this problem. If it were a common thing it would probably be easier to solve but since we only got one person with one problem it can take longer to identify the issue. I assure you that we do test a lot before releasing an update, otherwise the 30.000 mentioned customers would rip us apart ;)

in reply to: Layer Slider Bug after migration #282518

    Hey!
Yes you are, sorry for the delay. I tried to reproduce the whole scenario on my own server switching it to php 5.4 and the error does not occur, so I am not sure what exactly the problem is. Since your installation is live I didnt want to activate/deactivate any plugins just for testing. Just to make sure: the error disappears if you disable WPML?

Have you tried contacting their support staff? They have a copy of the theme so maybe they are able to identify the issue and find out whats wrong

    Best regards,
    Kriesi

    Glad you solved it ;)

in reply to: Ajax Portfolio #281567

    Hi!

I am afraid I cant tell either why this is happening for you. Our best bet is probably to wait until it gets reported again for another user so we can start determining what your settings/servers/etc got in common but as Devin already said: right now there are no similar issues reported so I am not sure if this will happen anytime soon :/

    Best regards,
    Kriesi

    Hi!

Seems to be a problem with the plugin styles you use for adding those images. Not sure what exactly is causing this but I guess if you add the following rule to the quick css field at enfold->general stylings that should fix the problem:

    .sidebar .simple-image a{display:inline-block;}

    Cheers!

in reply to: Bug: Import Theme Settings File in v2.8.1 #281528

    Hey!

Very weird. I am afraid I cant reproduce the issue and without seeing the backend there is little chance I can start debugging it. My best guess is that is some kind of server setting which differs from the settings most people use since we didnt get any similar reports.

Are you planning on moving the installation to a live server anytime soon? If so and the problem persits feel free to let us know and we will gladly check your installation. backend and ftp alike :)

Meanwhile I am afraid we need to wait for someone to report a similar issue who can grant us access to his server…

in reply to: Open SQL DB Queries #281526

    Hey!

I am afraid I am not sure either what we could do here, especially since it seems to work fine for everyone else. I will see if we can somehow lower the number or improve the queries but since we are using only wordpress functions to fetch content from the database I am not sure if there is a lot we actually can improve…

in reply to: Google Universal Analytics #281525

    Hey!

We will probably run with the ga.js script for some more time since its a bullet proof solution that works for everyone. However you should be able to paste pretty much any javascript into the analytics text field and it should be added to the page. Pasting this snippet should therefore also work:

As fast as I know there are currently no plugins that look similar and we didnt publish the element. Will probably do in the future but not sure about that :)

in reply to: Color sections aren't displaying full-width #275005

    Hi!
The page http://amusementux.com/color-section-test-all/ does not seem to recognize when the layout editor is activated. This way the theme does not properly use the correct template file to display the page and therefore any fullwidth elements are rendered incorrectly.

To be honest I have never experienced something like this before and I am not sure why this could happen. My best guess are either a plugin conflict or a server setting that differs vastly from what everyone else is using, otherwise we probably would have had similar reports already…

I asume of course you didnt change the template builder core files? :)

    Cheers!

in reply to: avia.js modification #274011

    Hi!
I have added the initial solution to the script, makes sense to ignore ajax clicks ;)
    Regards,
    Kriesi

    Hi!

Unfortunately thats currently really not possible. as peter said: any quick css modification tha I tried distorts the image. We might update the slider in the future so a feature request would definitely help to keep track and see if people want that feature. In that case it might go higher on the priority list ;)

    Kriesi
