It is quite normal for websites to load much slower if contents are gradually increasing but there are various ways to optimize loading speed if you don’t want to upgrade your hosting plan. These are the things that you can do to optimize the website speed and page load courtesy of the wordpress community:

1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop before uploading to server ‘save as web safe’ jpg
2. Once all images are on the website optimize with ewww optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
3. Install wp-smushit. Run once to remove jpeg extra data then uninstall.
4. Use BWP minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets.
5. Install WP-Super cache, select all recommended settings.
6. Logout your website, visit every page at least once to create super cache files.
7. Join Cloudflare setup your website on their CDN, Choose options: Full CDN Optimisation save then activate purge files. Once done log out.
8. Remove or deactivate unnecessary plugins.

Did you add those dummy text on the Footer – Columns widget area? I’m sorry but you’re using a plugin that is not fully configured to work with Enfold. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as stated on our support policy due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not included on the theme package will need to be directed to the plugin author.

1.) Try to copy the includes folder with the whole helper-markup.php file inside. Make the changes there.

2.) Just copy the original code then place it either below or above the modified code.

If possible, post the url of the actual page with the issue. You can set a min height for the grid content container:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {

}

Or decrease the font size of the portfolio title:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {

font-size: 11px;

@careprint: Please try @Patrick’s suggestion. If you enabled Rocket Loader (Asynchronous Loading of Javascript) on CloudFlare, it is the last option under “Performance Settings” tab, please disable because it tends to break the layer slider.
