Yes I deleted it after testing it seeing as it wasn’t working. I added it again with important tag.
It now works fine. Thank you.

I added your CSS to quick css in general styling, didn’t work, also tried adding it to my custom css file in child, also doesn’t work. cleared cache in browser to be sure.
November 2, 2020 at 5:19 am in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1257516I will not be giving you anymore access to this site so you’ll just have to walk me through what you want me to do to debug it.
Can you give me an email to send screenshots to so I can show you the file compression settings??November 2, 2020 at 4:52 am in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1257507I don’t care about your procedures and security is a critical component of a website and a site can get hacked within minutes of being vulnerable.. I could show you a list of hundreds of attacks made on our site while you had our security disabled. Had they found a single vulnerability or a tiny way in, we would have been completely fucked! So…. I repeat, you never disable security on a website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, I don’t have a staging version for this. This site has been live for many years and has always worked fine until the theme update mentioned in 1st support post.
I repeat, I did try to delete the font and reload it… still doesn’t work.
October 31, 2020 at 7:52 pm in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1257314Ismael, Never, under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you disable a website’s security plugin(s). Your apology is useless because you seem to only be sorry you didn’t turn them back on, not that you disabled them in the first place. In effect, this has completely rendered my trust in your support to nul Ø
I still have an issue with my arrows not displaying properly in home slider. deleting and replacing the font didn’t work. I expect you will now have to dictate the next procedures because there’s no way in fucking hell I am ever giving you access to my website’s admin! But I want this fixed!
It’s now been 1 month since your last reply and I am still pissed about all this. I’ve spend the last 10 years ranting and raving about Kriesi and his themes anywhere and everywhere. I won’t anymore.
September 25, 2020 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1248491I want to talk to a high level supervisor now! And I want him/her to call me. pm me for phone number
September 25, 2020 at 5:29 pm in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1248486How dare you disable my security plugins on a live site!!!
WTF!!!September 24, 2020 at 10:05 am in reply to: Advanced Layer slider nav arrows messed up since last theme update #1248095I did not make any changes to the slider, it’s been the same since I built the site in 2017. Only did our usual theme, plugin and wp updates.
See log in details in the private section.Please keep in mind that this is a non profit live website. Please insure the site continues to function properly. Thanks for your help :)
Hi Jordan, No, this is a live site with lots of traffic. Also 2 of them are for security and I can’t disable those.
The plugins I have are not likely the culprit. Here’s the list
Akismet
BulletProof Security
Comet Cache
Contact Form 7
Participants Database
Really Simple SSL
UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
Wordfence Security
WP-SpamShield
Yoast SEOThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Nikko,
Thanks! I got it working! Seems like it also needed the div.
#top div.avia-cookie-consent {…..}
Cheers

I’m a bit confused. I don’t understand what you mean by fetching old css. My custom css for the cookie consent bar was working before. It stopped working after an update a little while back. I figured you guys would fix that issue and so I waited to fix it.
What I see in page source is that my custom css is before yours in the <head> list of css fetches and so yours negates mine.
For my custom styling to override any other avia ones it should be last in <head> and it’s not.<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’avia-style-css’ href=’https://purrproject.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/style.css?ver=4.6.1′ type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />
<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’avia-cookie-css-css’ href=’https://purrproject.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/css/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.css?ver=4.6.1′ type=’text/css’ media=’screen’ />Please clarify to help me understand.
Thanks!

Hi!
I use a child theme and tried this css and it doesn’t work:.avia-cookie-consent {
width: 100%;
position: fixed;
background-color: rgba(116, 167, 194, 1) !important;
z-index: 999;
color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 1) !important;
padding: 1.1em;
text-align: center;
opacity: 1;
visibility: visible;
transition: all 0.3s ease-in-out;
overflow: hidden;
}It only works if I add it to quick css in theme options which is NOT a good solution for me. We want all our custom CSS in the same place which is in our style.css file in child theme.
Can you tell us when this will be fixed so I can remove it from quick CSS and have it only in child theme where it should be?
Is it because of the Data-contents serial added to the code?:
<div class=”avia-cookie-consent avia-cookiemessage-bottom” data-contents=”18ce70fe……..8b2a7a”><div class=”container”>Thanks!

ok about Rev slider in enfold.. my mistake… 2nd time I use enfold to build a site for a client and love it!
I used Velvet theme for a long time for my own site long ago…. But paying for an extra plugin to cater to my fancy isn’t a big deal anyways :Dthanks!
Hi
It seems to work now… In had other more urgent issues and it made me realize that our hosting was running our site on PHP 5.6 and so I updated to 7… perhaps that was the issue?
Either way, thanks for your assistance!
Also, didn’t you used to include Revolution slider in this theme? We went and bought the plugin because I’m used to working with it and didn’t want to spend time on a learning curve with layer slider… cheers
Same issue here slider is a blank page…
I am working on behalf of client
Thanks!
That’s wonderful Rikard, thank you
Sounds great Nikko,
Thanks!
Interesting coolpaie and thanks!.. but does that completely disable Gutenberg? Or just for posts? Because the ALB works with everything including pages as well

Hi beenee,
Although it is nice to know there’s a plugin that will work if need be, I would really prefer NOT to install yet another plugin. As you may or may not know, the more plugins you have, the more risk you run for:
a) security breach / hacking
b) incompatibilitySo, still waiting on a permanent fix from Kriesi. Speaking of which, I did install the last version of the theme published also on the 6th of december I believe but nowhere did it say it had integrated with Gutenberg so I didn’t update WP yet. Awaiting news….
Cheers!
Thank you Basilis and Illingco,
Either way, for me, the classic editor will not be an option. As mentioned in my original post, my client creates the blog posts and they are far from knowing how any of this works and barely manage with the enfold builder. Switching them to classic will mean they won’t be able to post anymore and that will equate to a loss of funds for this non-profit cat shelter. They have a 3k monthly newsletter mailing list for fundraising so you can imagine the financial impact that loosing that would have. There’s over 200 cats in this No-Kill shelter that depend on these funds.
For me, the only option is making sure that the enfold builder will work as it is now when Gutenberg rolls out.
Thanks!
@ Illingco: I tried the beta as well, it was a pretty mess in the back end. I am also hoping this will be resolved before the release of Gutenberg rolls out.
I have been using Kriesi’s themes for over 10 years (my first site was with Velvet in 2007 I believe) and I have used Enfold with clients as well. I have, to this day, never seen him fail us with any of his themes. I have faith but I am also a bit worried. I think it’s totally stupid of WP to push such a retarded builder by force on millions of people. To me, it’s the equivalent of a phone company forcing you to use the old landline instead of your smart phone… retarded is putting it mildly… (end of rant)This is what Kriesi had to say back in January this year on this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/wordpress-gutenberg/#post-900941 (found it today)
Hey!
Gutenberg will probably not work well with our current page builder so what we are going to do is: let people choose, what they want to use with an option in the backend (although the theme default for the foreseeable future will probably be to use tinymce and our page builder)
If at any time in the future Gutenberg is advanced enough that we can port all our elements and the whole drag and drop system into it that will probably happen, but given the slow speed of development of this new editor I am not sure when.
So what might happen during the transition period is that you have to choose between Gutenberg or our Layout editor when creating Pages and Posts, but in general its safe to say that we will do our best to keep enfold compatible with anything WordPress throws at us and that your website will be safe.
Best regards,
KriesiHi Ismael,
The site is now live & you can find the issue on this page: http://purrproject.com/adopt/#virtual-adoption
The pics that are there now have extra blank space at bottom as it’s the only way I was able to display text below the images rather than on top. Once you give me the proper css, I’ll put back the pics without the extra white at bottom. I would also like text to be centered. As I explained above, the code I used for centering only worked when there were multiple lines of text.. with only 1 line, it was left.
I am also trying to reduce text size as screen gets smaller but have it still readable.
Thanks!
I’m hoping to launch tomorrow… I’ll provide a link once launched.. thanks Ismael!
Ok will do! Thanks!
Does this help?
