You are a star! thanks my friend
Thanks! that worked great. Another issue I have noticed since updating recently is what looks like a double white space above and below each row of ‘Masonry Posts’. I would expect the white space above and below to match the white space on the left and right of the Masonry Images. However, since updating it looks to me like the white space above and below has a double amount. ANyway to fix that?
Thanks Gunter, I hold on until monday.
Is this issue going to be fixed in a future update? can I target the spacing using CSS in the custom CSS box. I ask because I have around 20+ sites that’ll have the same problem.
I use a child theme, can I drop this code into that?
Here’s my site about football legends, using the legendary theme enfold, https://www.efpafootball.com/
Hi Ismael, Thanks for getting back to me. What seems to be happening is odd physical size are being generated. So in the masonry element the background images all have variably pixel dimensions ( 705×409.jpg ) and ( 705×440.jpg ). It looks like enfold is generating these size, the problem is these sizes are not optimised imagify. So I was asking for a way to force the masonry element to use a fixed thumbnail size like maybe ( portfolio – 495 × 400 )?
Can anyone help with this issue?
Hi Nikko, I have already deleted the error, so I’m not sure how much help it will be giving you access?
Unless, you think you know what the issue is?For anyone using the CSS fix and looking to add the whatsapp icon. The following code works fine.
.social_bookmarks_whatsapp a::before, .av-social-link-whatsapp a::before {
font-family: ‘entypo-fontello’;
content: ‘’;
}Just add to the bottom of the CSS that Rikard has supplied and make sure you cache the page correctly to see the whatsapp icon.
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/missing-icons-after-updating-to-wordpress-5-3-1-and-maintenance-releases/Thanks for getting back to me Ismael, I’m pretty sure there is some conflict between the theme and wp-rocket caching plugin.
Am I missing a setting where I can activate ‘silently accepted on load’ or is that the same as ‘All cookies and services are accepted on first page load, user can opt out” ?
on the ‘gamehunter’ site I have it set to ‘All cookies and services are accepted on first page load, user can opt out” I thought that first would allow the fonts to load without user action.
I’ve have provided a few sites below where I am having the same issues.
Like I said early, what happens in the correct style headline fonts do not render and the default font displays instead. Once I click the ‘accept cookie bar button’ and hit page refresh the correct styled google font will load.
Hi Ismael, will this be addressed in the next update?
I’m pretty sure that there is something in the theme/code which isn’t working correctly when a caching plugin is present. Or a file needs excluding from caching.
I’ve been running Enfold and WP Rocket on 10+ sites for a couple of years without issue. But since the last update, this problem has appeared.
Hi Ismael, when I view the site in incognito/private mode with a clean browser cache etc. The custom google font (used for headlines etc) and video don’t load, even with the correct option selected in the backend… ‘All cookies and services are accepted on first page load’.
Hi, my understanding was that if I selected in the ENFOLD THEME the option for ‘All cookies and services are accepted on first page load’ in the privacy & coolie section, that this would mean that the fonts and videos would load WITHOUT the user having to click on accept the cookies? am I wrong in this assumption?
Hi Rikard,
I have provided details for you to take a look.

I haven’t tried fixing it. I just rolled back to the previous theme version. I will let you know if I have any success with fixing the issue.
I can confirm I had this same issue after updating.
Hi
I am having the same issue also, updated the theme to 4.5.4 with no issue across multiple sites. However, one site that is in Maintenence mode immediately goes to a very basic maintenance mode window when trying to view the pages when logged into the dashboard.
If I put the theme back to 4.5.3 using the.zip file from my archive. The site instantly goes back to displaying the pages that are being worked on. Re-Installed version 4.5.3 from the .zip file using the following plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
This will fix the issue allowing me to put the site back to be able to work on. But could you please advise when you do have a fix for this issue so that I can update to 4.5.4. I did try the recommendation posted by Victoria and this did not work.
Will look out for the solution coming from you guys.
Thanks
Hi Rikard
The update issue is on over thirty websites that we manage, do you want access to all of them? Thanks Alex
Tried the steps provided above – but having no luck what so ever. Just getting the following at the check manually stage:

Errors occured for package(s): Enfold – 4.5.3, Enfold – 4.5.3Having exactly the same issue – raised a thread but got no response?
I have kept tabs on the responses on other threads. So have attempted to update as per the direction provided by Nikko. I am still getting the same problem “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. Forbidden”. Tried to follow Alex’s advice, no success trying in incognito either.
Can you give me a link to the download for the .zip file so that I can try and update directly from the zip file.
Still having issues updating to Enfold 4.5.3 – Additional error received:

After installing the Plugin – “Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File”
NOW SEEMS TO WORK AS PER BELOW-
Can confirm that following the instructions on response #1021584
“You can simply go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload enfold.zip file of Enfold 4.5 and theme will be overwritten.”Regarding Message – #1021645. –
Yigit, can you confirm that this is the case please. Do I need to check all my settings across 30+ websites thoroughly after updating the theme via the zip??? I could take a copy of the theme settings on each prior to updating???This is becoming quite a task – I am hoping that the fix mentioned within – 4.5 – resolves this issue.
Thanks
Looking forward to your response.

I have downloaded the .zip for Enfold 4.5
Can confirm that following the instructions on response #1021584
“You can simply go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload enfold.zip file of Enfold 4.5 and theme will be overwritten.”is not working for me… tested on two sites and getting:
————
Installing Theme from uploaded file: enfold.zip
Unpacking the package…Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home/scratch6/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/
Theme installation failed.

Will try from the plugin and let you know.
Still having issues and need top update this on 30+ websites…
Further to this…
I think for some reason when enfold is the active theme – wordpress seems to be acting like a user is logged in. when in fact they are not.
When I switch themes to standard Twenty Seventeen Theme the above issues go away. Only to return when Enfold theme is activated. Thanks so much – it worked a treat
