I am using, and like, the LayerSlider. I’m wondering if support is going to catchup soon (a couple of weeks) – or is it something that is starting to fall off due to chaos and issues/conflicts?
Sincerely,
GregSeptember 7, 2017 at 10:45 pm in reply to: Please read – Regarding Wordfence LayerSlider warning on Enfold 4.0.3 #849297Hello Support,
I’m just checking in regarding LayerSlider support with Enfold, as it’s been some time since the last communication and the issue is still unresolved in my experience.
Here is one current set of warnings from a site with Enfold:
Warning: fopen(/home/hfs/public_html/wp-content/plugins/home/hfs/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hfs/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4785
Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/hfs/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4788
Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/hfs/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4791
Is there still effort to resolve integration of LayerSlider with Enfold Theme?
Sincerely,
GregHello Ismael,
That fixed it – thank you!
We can close this out…
FYI,
GregHello Ismael/Support,
FTP credentials in Private Content area.
Are you also looking at the Post Slider on the homepage (bottom of page)?
Sincerely,
GregHello Ismael/Support,
- I believe that there currently aren’t any “out of stock” items
- We can only select a “category” for the taxonomy to propagate the product slider with. Are you saying there’s a bug with the slider – if a product is “out of stock” within a given category – the slider breaks?
- The “Post Slider” at the bottom of the homepage also appears to be broken. There are 20 posts with the “Recipes” category and only one is propagating the slider.
Standing by for assistance – thank you,
GregHello Ismael,
I changed the file as recommended.
I first attempted to use the child-theme to load the revised file. When it didn’t work, I replaced the original within the Enfold theme directory.
It still isn’t working.
What is next?
Sincerely,
GregP.S. It doesn’t seem to have changed anything. gw
Hello Nikko,
Thank you very much for your support. It is working on my phone now.
I don’t completely understand the fix you did – and I’m good for moving forward and closing out this ticket.
Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
GregHello Support,
I’m checking in on this.
Can you check the site with an actual phone?
Sincerely,
GregHello John/Support,
I’m using chrome on an android platform.
The H1s are inconsistently loading… as described previously.
– Greg
Hello Andy/Support,
That sort of is working.
There are 4 slide elements in the homepage slider.
1 & 3 are loading the H1 with the desired font size. 2 & 4 are loading a smaller font size. I’m not figuring out what CSS is working on the H1 for 2 & 3.
Also, the buttons (blue w/ white border – image element) should be loading in with better alignment.
Can you help me with the correct CSS for these elements?
Thank you,
GregHello Victoria,
That snippet of code did the trick! Thank you.
This can be closed; it’s resolved. :-)
Sincerely,
Gregwe can close this – thank you
Hello Jordan,
Spot on – perfect!!
Thank you for the great support! :-)This ticket can be closed…
GregHello Jordan/Support,
Thanks for the help – that did the trick…
Is it possible that a theme update will over-write this file?Sincerely,
GregHello Vinay,
Thank you – that worked (once I moved the code into the mobile only area :-) )
We can close this,
GregHello Rikard,
That works for the logo – thank you.
Regarding my second question: yes the social icons and also the icons for the menu and shopping cart.
- can the menu and shopping cart icons be the same size as the social icons?
- can the white border around the icons be removed?
Thank you,
GregOK – Thank you, Basilis… makes sense.
This ticket can be closed.

my apologies for dropping this for so long…
This is resolved and the ticket can be closed. (I think the last instructions worked – and it was a chache issue I was experiencing.)
Thank you,
GregHello Nikko,
Awesome – this worked perfectly! :-)
We can close this one,
GregHello Andy/Support,
I dropped that code/css in place – the images are still loading “enlarged” on the main blog/writing page:
http://www.nikkiestradayoga.com/writing/Click through to the actual post and you’ll see the actual size of the featured image is quite a bit smaller.
???,
GregHello Ismael,
Almost there – it’s perfect for the single post page…
It’s still loading the images larger then their original size on the main blog page:
main blog pageCan you help with that? (I’m pretty happy, though, right now…)
Sincerely,
GregCan the code be changed so that it loads the actual image size for any placement of the featured image?
Hello Nikko,
OK – it is all placed in the private data. And you have permission to deactivate plugins.
But can’t you just tell me which file(s) to alter – and how to do so in the child theme?

We have a winner!! Thank you sooo much – we have a happy customer. :-)
Close this one,
GregHello Yigit/Support,
Sorry for my delay in responding…
So there is no way to change the code so that the default/actual image size is loaded as the featured image? (My experience with the client is that the featured image size isn’t consistent – and they’d like the original image uploaded for featuring to be loaded.)
Sincerely,
GregOctober 21, 2016 at 7:54 pm in reply to: Image element and Special Heading element loading last into Color Section #702613Hello Andy,
I did as you requested above regarding caching.
I’ve removed the cache plugin completely.
The issue still exists – it really looks to me like something in the code/programming is creating the issue.
You’re right, it can’t be coming from the element settings as they are deactivated. What is creating the delay?

There aren’t any cache plugins that are active – that’s not the issue. AND, there is a definite fade in effect on the delayed elements.
Here’s the screenshot of the elements I’m referring to.
