February 23, 2021 at 11:44 am in reply to: Compatibility issue between WPRocket 3.8.5 and Enfold 4.7.6.4 #1283038
Rikard,
Thanks for your note but we are in the middle of a campaign in prep of a webinar on 18/3.
I can’t afford to have a broken site so we have disabled all the JS WPRocket settings for the time being and now it works again.
We agreed with WPRocket that they’ll analyze the issue after the 18th.I’ll update the ticket at that moment.
Cheers, D

As requested.
Please note that WPRocket support is also analyzing the issue and has access to the site.

If you hit the “Click here to learn more about our Cookie and Privacy Settings.’ button you should get the modal with all options to select/deselect.
Despite the fact that the Enfold Lightbox Modal Window is enabled, you get the “We need a lightbox to show the modal popup. Please enable the built in lightbox in Theme Options Tab or include your own modal window plugin.\n\nYou need to connect this plugin in JavaScript with callback wrapper functions – see avia_cookie_consent_modal_callback in file enfold\js\avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js” msg.
Perfect Mike. That’s indeed what was I looking for.
Thank you for your swift and professional support.
Cheers,
DimitriHi,
Thanks for your reply and update. What I would like to do however is highlight only a couple of words and not the complete title.
See my homepage to illustrate what I am talking about.Your test code does work but the background of the complete title is changed.
On my homepage I am using a Grid Row and in a number of cells I also included a Special Heading element.
In the heading txt of these Special Headings, I specify HTML code to define the background col of a nr of words… This works fine.
For example:
Have A <span style=”background-color: #ffc000″ “color: #FFFF03”>Shared Business Language For My Data Assets</span> And Maintain It.When I specify this HTML code in the title of the Icon Grid, it displays HTML code and not the expected background col. How get the Icon Grid to display a title text with different background cols?
Thank you

Installed WP Rocket 3.8.0.1 and it seems to have fixed this issue.
Thanks for the hint.Have a nice evening,
DimitriDecember 14, 2020 at 6:07 pm in reply to: WP 5.6 update > Privacy & cookies notification > info modal automatically opened #1267228Yigit,
Thanks for your feedback.
Will try to get that WPRocket version installed and let you know if it makes a difference.Cheers,
DimitriDecember 11, 2020 at 5:09 pm in reply to: WP 5.6 update > Privacy & cookies notification > info modal automatically opened #1266600Yigit,
Sure. Feel free to do so. We have the backups in place just in case.
CDN BTW is Cloudflare.
Already tried it again with downgrading WPRocket to previous version but that didn’t resolve the issue. To be clear the combi of the previous version of WP and WProcket (or any other active plugin) didn’t cause this issue. Would seem logical that the issue is introduced with a WP5.6 change/component.
Thank you.

December 11, 2020 at 4:00 pm in reply to: WP 5.6 update > Privacy & cookies notification > info modal automatically opened #1266575Thanks Yigit. Could you try again pls?
BTW has a huge impact on my Google PageSpeed mobile score. From the 20-30 range to 70+…

Hi Ismael,
It’s fixed.
@fontface worked when I explicitly mentioned it in the HTML/CSS code. However the TTF was also still being picked up.
Now with your comments re: the Font Manager and specific rules, I had a look at the filenames when you create the ZIP download package with Google Fonts. When I used the exact same filenames but with the WOFF2 extension and imported that ZIP file again with the Enfold Font Manager it works. Thanks for the hint.
Cheers, D
Could someone have a look at this question pls?
Thank you, D
Rikard,
You answered my question. I didn’t use a form but the reCAPTCHA Enfold setting was enabled.
As a result the theme apparently proactively runs the above js. Disabled it and indeed it longer shows up in the js list.Thank you,
DimitriHi Rikard,
Quick update – added it to the Quick CSS field works now.
Still don’t know the exact reason but guess it had something todo with the Varnish/Redis/W3TC/Client Cache…
Anyway, it works now.Thank for your support.
Cheers,
DimitriDid you made some changes to the config because I am now getting Varnish cache errors on the site (including home page).
I have checked the custom.css and the Quick CSS field but don’t see any CSS code added. This is the error:
Error 503 Backend fetch failed
Backend fetch failedGuru Meditation:
XID: 405451Varnish cache server
I am also checking with the hosting company.
Thanks, DHi Rikard,
Doesn’t seem to work.
Added it to Quick CSS and also to the custom.css but doesn’t have an effect. When I manually add the CSS code to the individual post pg, it works… Meaning that when I add a new styleelement, it works.
Overwriting the stylesettings of the existing p element doesn’t work.<style>
pblog {
line-height: normal !important;
font-size: small !important;
}
</style>See the preview URL in the private content.
BTW also tried to ad the code to the Quick CSS Enfold field but doesn’t seem to work either.
Thanks, D
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your quick reply.
See the requested info the private content. Tried adding some code to the customs.css but this doesn’t have the expected effect.
When I change adhoc the font-size of line-height with Chrome, I do see the difference.Cheers,
DimitriNikko,
Thanks for your feedback. This indeed gives what you need but still requires 3 manual steps.
A quick shortcode giving the same layout (the image header & categories AND also the standard footer info like tags and share buttons) as with the default editor, would have been nice. Perhaps something for the feature request list? Thanks, D

We are 3 years later. Is there shortcode (or multiple) available to display the featured image, title and categories just like a default blog post (created with the default editor)?
Thanks, D

Never mind. Managed to find the culprit.
The reason why it showed this info is because I selected the home page as parent.
As soon as I specified no parent, the pages info was no longer displayed in the sidebar.
Anyway, this fixes my issue so…Hi Nikko,
Adding .avia_textblock { font-weight:600 !important; } to custom.css fixed the issue so this shows that it has nothing todo with caching.
BTW this works, quiet logical, for my textblock elements… But it doesn’t for the other elements. Where can I find a list of the available txt related CSS elements?
When will other elements be added to the advanced styling list?
It mentions that this is still beta functionality but any clue why the advanced styling doesn’t work?Thank you,
DimitriBTW the W3TCache plugin doesn’t change the rest of your htaccess. The reason why I am saying is that in the htaccess, I have manually specified some minification settings etc. So it makes sense that enabling/disabling this from within Enfold or W3TC won’t make a difference. Anyway, I manually purged Redis & Varnish but this doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Can’t we specify something in the Quick CSS settings to verify that this pushed through (or not)?
When I update a page, these changes are visible. I.e. on the homepage, I updated a button and the change is displayed correctly.Cheers,
DimitriHi Nikko,
So do you suspect that this is a caching issue?
Perhaps the W3 cache plugin isn’t properly purging the cache and I need to manually cleanse Redis & Varnish on the server? Thanks,
DimitriThis reply has been marked as private.Never mind. Had a better look at the advanced styling tab and what you can specify there. Seems that this allows me to do what I wanted to do.
Cheers.

April 25, 2020 at 5:36 pm in reply to: Privacy and Cookies – Modal Popup Window – Display Modal Popup Actions settings #1207080Problem disappeared. Don’t know exactly why.
At some point, I also noticed that my top bar to edit, etc was missing when I switched from the WP dashboard to the actual site pages.
Reinstalled WP. Tried it again… but no difference.
I disabled basically all plugins. Tried it again… but no difference. Reactived all of them.
Just when I was about to edit the wpconfig and add define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); … Everything started working again. Both topbar and cookie stuff.Anyway… works again.
April 25, 2020 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Privacy and Cookies – Modal Popup Window – Display Modal Popup Actions settings #1207074I also don’t use a minify plugin.
