Yes, there is only ever a single file to download and the file name doesn’t change. See this video for a quick how-to: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Glad we could help :)
Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.
Hi xavier,
You can edit the text in the Footer section of the theme options. In that field add your custom text as well as [nolink] which will remove the Kriesi backlink.

Devin
Hi Rob,
We would need to see an example of what you mean. As far as I know there isn’t anything built into the sorting function to handle that since the sort is only visible for the page you are on and doesn’t actually query the whole portfolio post type data.

Devin
Hi maratino,
We need a bit more information to try and figure out what the issue is.
Seeing the site and issue live, knowing what version of WordPress you are on and what other plugins you have running, the details of the page etc are all helpful descriptive items that will allow us to dig a bit deeper on the issue.

Devin
Hi f dech,
Have you tried re-installing the theme over FTP? How did you install the update today?
Regards,
Devin
Hi kbreslin,
My suggestion would be to just re-install the theme files and upgrade to 3.6 . The 3.6 update was actually 1.9 but that version had a major issues so it was patched immediately with 1.9.1.
The most recent version released yesterday is 2.0 which is probably your best route for updating and attempting to fix the issue.

Devin
Hi bobbymc,
I’m not really sure how to proceed. The video is the best example that we could possibly provide as if you follow the steps exactly you get the correct result.
The only thing that could be causing that not to happen would be if your theme version is out of date, a plugin conflict or the theme files have been corrupted.
So if you are using 1.9.1+ and on WordPress 3.6 you can try re-downloading the theme and then re-installing which just re-installs the theme files. Additionally, double check that you’ve followed each step as it is just as simple as adding a fixed image to a color section for that specific effect.

August 18, 2013 at 4:24 am in reply to: Ubermenu Problems – Removing responsive menu from theme, editing .php #136011Hi designprime,
As Ismael mentioned in your original question you may need to hire a freelance developer to debug the final implementation.
Plugins that are no listed as officially supported on the theme page are just that: not officially supported.
If you can provide a link to the page we can take a look and see if we can figure out what is going on but tutorials or full customization of the theme menu are way beyond what we can offer via support.

Devin
Hi All,
You can always download the most recent version from your Downloads on ThemeForest. There is only ever single release so you just download the most recent version.
If you download the whole package it has the version.txt in it which is pasted above.

Devin
Hi ijammedia,
Can we take a look at your site and example page live?

August 17, 2013 at 2:30 am in reply to: Template Demo Footer: how do i get ENFOLD template footer to match the Demo. #135941Hi stwallis001,
Those are all just widgets. In order: social widget, Latest posts, tags+categories, Text widget.
The color is set in the themes Styling tab of the theme options.

Thanks for posting your solution but the php.ini is specific to the host. What was it specifically if you don’t mind sharing so I can keep in mind for other GoDaddy users.

Hi Andrew,
The backface visibility fix is a common addition for a wide range of css issues. If its conflicting with your plugin, it would better to target that specific plugin’s selector and then have the css only target the widget.
If you can provide a link to your site we can assist with the css. Just make sure to point out exactly the widget and page.

Devin
Hi Dave,
Can you try deleting those elements from the layout, saving, then re-adding them in?
Regards,
Devin
Hi Semel,
If we can see the site live we may be able to assist with a css fix. Typically however we aren’t able to offer support for third party plugins.
Just post the URL here or post it with http://goo.gl/ to hide the url.

Devin
August 17, 2013 at 12:45 am in reply to: Responsive 'streched-fixed' color-section background image does not resize.. #135850Hi vadi4ek,
Any image you set as “fixed” means *you* do not want it to re-size. This isn’t a bug but just how css works.

Hi deamon54,
The Meta widget is part of WordPress core so I would never recommend modifying it.
What you could do is try and find a plugin that gives you the result or customization you are looking for.

Devin
If anyone else has the same issue please describe it here in detail. So far I havn’t run across anything but just in case its an issue we need to look into further.

Hi BrandonBarringer,
This doesn’t actually work with child themes because the file isn’t getting registered with the child theme functions.php. There are a couple of options but the one I recommend over adding it to a child theme is to just modify the parent theme and make a change log of your own with notes on the files you’ve changed.
The reason being that if you are modifying the framework folder anyway, pulling out a specific function and overwriting it with the child theme could cause major issues when the framework is updated.
Otherwise you can try filtering the functions with your own functions if you are familiar with it.

Devin
Hi Curt,
Not sure if Nick has had a chance to take a look but can you try switching to one of the default WordPress themes and see if you are having the same issue then?

August 17, 2013 at 12:15 am in reply to: LayerSlider – Inconsistent Result from preview to final rendering #131949If anyone else has issues with the LayerSlider just make a new topic and describe the issues with a link to your site.
There have been 3 different issues in this topic alone so I don’t want to have any more accidentally piled in and have the differences confused or overlapped :)

Devin
Hi mrkuji,
Please re-post which page you are having issues with. This topic is a bit too long to follow and figure out where you were and what the issue still is.

August 17, 2013 at 12:09 am in reply to: Promo box in IE8, Iconbox image rollovers, non responsive images, Embedded video #134230The height and width for images is not an absolute necessity. In this instance, the theme does not output it so there isn’t any immediate change we can do to alter that.
For the promo box issue, you need to update your theme files as I’m not getting the same issue on the current live version of the theme.
I did a quick tutorial on updating the theme files via FTP which can be viewed here: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

I’m not really sure how to explain it. The portfolio shortcode is a class so you could do an include_once(http://php.net/manual/en/function.include-once.php) in your child functions for the new file. That file would just need to be the class by itself and whatever modifications you want to do to it.
As far as I know none of the support crew has worked with Genesis. As for the Avia Framework its not really ready to be on its own. The themes are all based on various versions of it but it hasn’t been packaged into a portable version that other themes could be built on.
Whereas Genesis has a whole range of themes built on top of it from what the literature reads.
Glad you were able to find a workable solution.
Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

Hi stwallis001,
There should be no reason you have to switch to a windows hosting package. In fact it would just cause you issues since most people want pretty permalinks and windows has a ridiculous amount of issues getting that to work.
You may just need to use a higher tier hosting package but I don’t know much of the details of GoDaddy hosting as I don’t use them for hosting.
Regards,
Devin
The issue is that it needs to be in a container that allows for the container to actually be full screen.
So you could try it on a ‘blank page template’ but it would still probably need a bit of individual customization as Ismael mentioned.
Regards,
Devin
Hi jdrakeproductions,
The theme uses an automatic link detection to grab images and video links and output them to a lightbox. To disable it on an item you need to add noLightbox to the link like so:
<a href="https://vimeo.com/westcobbchurch" class="noLightbox"><img src="http://www.drakeeats.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/vimeoicon32x32.png" /></a>

Devin
