Hi Eliott
Thanks… I am viewing it (me) on Windows 10 and IE 11… (parallels on a retina mac book pro). I can only emulate it (which is the screenshots I sent you previously) when I turn retina off. The same happens at my end if I do Windows 8 and IE 11.
But the ladies in the photos (which all are working for Anchor most of them have Windows 7 and IE 10 or 11) are all complaining it looks dreadful and pixelated… I asked my husband (Win 7, IE 10 (but IE 11 looks the same)) to send me some screenshots…
Thanks so much for all your help, appreciate it very much. I am a bit lost with this…
Kindest Regards,
CorinaThat worked. Awesome, thanks so much Ismael.
All the best,
CorinaHi Yigit
Thanks for getting back to me. I am not quite following. On the mac is where the logo looks best (although slightly bigger than I’d like it to be)… it is Firefox and IE where it spills over the site and you can’t even see the whole logo.
Isn’t this more of a css issue? And is there a way of having it a custom size? I understand for Retina 2x to work I have to upload a large size of the logo file.
Thanks so much and sorry for not explaining properly.
All the best,
Corina
xxHi Andy
Thanks for the info. I installed retina-2x and uploaded a bigger logo and inserted it… it looks kind of okay on Safari (it’s sharp and everything, but it’s bigger than it was), on Firefox and Internet Explorer 11 it just inserted it in a massive size (original uploaded size).
I am quite confused about how I can get to logo to be the size I want it to be in all browsers and to still be sharp on all devices. The size listed as a recommendation in the theme settings is just too small.
Appreciate your help, thanks so much.
CorinaHi Elliott
I’ve set the header to a custom pixel height. But I would like the logo to be a bit smaller whilst retaining the white space. On mobile the logo looks fine.
All images are pixelated (badly) on IE 11 but it is most obvious on the blog post (Das Einfamilienhaus) and on the portrait’s on Who We Are.
I can replicate it on my computer (macBook Pro Retina with Parallels, Windows 8 and IE 11) when I turn the “retina” off in windows. See screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fzm78dq0wrtub1p/AABVYZbFw8wemIsjwAyFlLCZa?dl=0
The same happens under Windows 10 IE 11 (on my macbook, same settings as above).
This also seems to happen on PC with Windows 7, 8 and IE 11. I’ve had 6 people with these conditions telling me that all images look pixelated… The images are definitely good quality, so it’s not that.
So sorry & thanks for your help.
CorinaHi Elliott
Thanks for that, you are right. I added the 88px max-height and it works now… BUT… the logo is too big. So as soon as I start adjusting the max-height to less pixels, it starts doing the same thing (distorts the logo when scrolling). How can I make the logo smaller?
Then I still have the issue that all images (including the logos) are very pixelated in any IE version besides Edge (see my comments in the posts above)? Any idea why that is? I really have an issue as my clients and all their clients do not use IE Edge yet…
Thanks so much, Corina
Hi Yigit
That helpt with the logo sliding off to the side, but now it stretches the logo (or distorts it), once you start scrolling (only on the home page)…
Also could you please have a look at the second part of my question (all images being pixelated and also the fonts not being slightly pixelated and not rendered very nicely) all that in IE only (8,9,10,11).
Thanks so much & kindest Regards,
CorinaHi Elliott
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes IE zoom is set to 100 and compatibility view is turned off. The logo disappears only on the home page once you start scrolling down the page.
I have below some screenshots for you.
The other quite big problem is that all imagery is pixelated in Windows 7, 8 and 10. IE 11 (see also attached screenshots). I already tried to upload in different resolutions and it didn’t change anything. They are all definitely big enough and should be crisp and clear (which they are in FF, Safari, Chrome on Mac).
Thank you so much for your help, appreciate it.
All the best,
CorinaHi Elliott
Thanks so much, that fixed it. For some reason the built in Theme Update, didn’t show me there was an update, despite “checking manually” every day for a few days… so I didn’t realise there was a newer version.
Appreciate your help. Have a great day.
Kindest Regards,
Corinasorry it formatted …. I meant … the editor keeps adding “ul” in between every “li” item…
Hi Andy
I am having the same issue. I’ve added the list in the txt (not the Visual editor) and manually created the list as follows:
- list item 1
- list item 2
Unfortunately the editor keeps messing it up and adding
- in between every
- item.
I’ve deactivated all plugins (not that many really, only WPML and brute force login protection and updraft plus backup).
Also, if I delete all theme files via FTP and then re-upload, won’t I use all the customisations?
Thanks for your help. Kindest Regards, Corina

That is correct. Client wanted to take out 2 additional sections…. I just updated Enfold today to the latest version and it is now working. Not sure what it was but before it was jumping from the 1st to the 3rd section.
Thanks for looking into it.

So sorry, pasted the incorrect link. Here’s the correct one: http://akkomplice.com.au/what-we-do/
Thanks, CorinaHi Yigit
Thank you so much, that worked. Although I also had to give it a height.
All the best,
CorinaHi Rikard
Did that and it still looks weird on my large screen… (it’s perfect on my mobile devices)…. I cleared cache on all browsers and tested on safari, chrome and firefox, all latest versions… and it looks like in this screenshot:

Thanks so much.
All the best,
CorinaHi Yigit
Thank you so much for getting back to me even over Easter…. you guys are awesome.
Unfortunately the css doesn’t seem to work or then I did something incorrectly :( Added it to the General Styling tab (Quick CSS)…. but there’s no change to how it looks on screen…
Happy Easter, Corina
Hi Josue
Thank you so much!! Happy Easter.
Cheers, Corinaplease disregard, I just found it.
Thanks, CorinaHi Yigit
I am trying to also resize (height) the image in the blog post. I tried to follow your instructions above and find it in the latest enfold release 3.1.1 but can’t seem to locate it in the functions-enfold.php.That is the only functions file I have. Could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks so much.
CorinaMarch 6, 2015 at 1:10 am in reply to: Portfolio Item showing "Page not found" when clicking on "View Portfolio Item" #406768Hi Begrafiks… that is awesome, thanks so much. I it worked. Tried to search the forum for it but for some reason your post didn’t come up.
All the best,
CorinaAwesome Yigit. That worked perfectly.
Thanks so much for all your help and support.
Happy Weekend.
CorinaHi Ismael
That worked perfectly. I just had to custom name the arrows, as it put a double arrow on the post slider. But that is now sorted. Thanks so much.
I still have one open question, which is regarding the Post Slider.
The test appears fuzzy on a retina display. I tried to take a screenshot so you can see the difference… left “about” is crisp and clear, right the post slider, text is fuzzy. https://www.dropbox.com/s/d2z0f1h5j85ywqt/2014-11-13_17-44-54.jpeg?dl=0
Any ideas why? Thanks so much & all the best,
CorinaThis reply has been marked as private.also I changed the ul style but for some reason I cannot remove it on this page (sidebar widget)
http://www.essenceofyoga.com.au/journal/
When I check in Firefox the ul does not have any class assigned and if I change the default ul in css it doesn’t affect it.
Thanks,
CorinaHi
Just wondering if you had any info on the arrow? It seems to render it now on the home page (in the about section), so I applied it to the Teachers page and it does the same thing… I paste the following code into the text box:
Read more <span class=”more-link-arrow”>→</span>
When I save it, it renders fine for 1 minute and then it changes it to the following code:
Read more <span class=”more-link-arrow”>?</span>
Not really sure what to do as I think the code is correct… also I just checked on a non retina display and it does not render it correctly on the teachers page.
Thanks & all the best, Corina

Hi Ismael
Thanks for getting back to me. My main concern at this stage is not the list-style, it is the ? in the “Read More” link as per my description above.
the images are selected at the larger image size. It is generally also the fonts and images that are fuzzy and not clear on retina.
Thanks, Corina
Hi Ismael
Thanks for getting back to me.
Arrow
What you suggested is exactly what I am doing. This is the code I have in the text box:
Read more <span class=”more-link-arrow”>→</span>Once I save and click update it stays for a few seconds and then it changes the → to a ? … I have tried numerous times and it keeps changing it.
List Style
I know how to change the list style to any of the other symbols but it does not contain a dash – as an option, which is what my client would like. I will try again but I had issues that it affected the indent on other lists without a symbol. but will try and write in if I have issues again. Thanks.Post Slider
The issue is not just the image, it is that image and text are fuzzy on a retina display. Thanks & kindest Regards,
