if you do it this way, then you will have this or a similar problem soon again. You need to update always and as soon as possible, to avoid those situations in the future. WordPress and WP Themes are moving/improving constantly. Of course this means that things get changed. If you do not go with the flow, then you will have problems. Update everything always and you just need to adjust one or two things, instead of having a huge problem one day like now.
So instead of sticking with any old versions, we recommend to use the newest one and just adjust the background image the way you want it. Enfold’s background images are working as expected. You just need to make correct settings. It doesn’t work that you expect from any WP theme to display an image the way you want it. No theme can know what you want. Maybe sometimes you have luck and it gets displays correctly, but just by chance. In my opinion it’s best to learn to adjust the settings of your images, to be able to get control over it.So to be able to assist you, show us the background image in question and provide us a mockup where you show us what you want to achieve. Then we can be able to build custom css code for you, to achieve that the background works the way you want it.

führe ein Update zu Enfold v3.8 durch und kontaktiere den Autor des Plugins wenn der Fehler weiterhin besteht. Tritt er auch auf wenn du ein standard WordPress Theme verwendest?

Please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)
To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)

I can’t find any overlay button on any images. Could you remove it already? if not please provide us screenshots showing the issue.
Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading them and if you want to control this behavior you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes

not sure what you want to achieve. Your footer background image looks fine to me. Could you fix it already? if not would you mind posting us a screenshot/mockup of what you would like to achieve? You can upload the screenshot to imgur.com or dropbox and share the link here :)

please follow Vinay’s instructions and increase your php memory limit. Let us know when you’re ready. Try with a default WordPress theme to check if you get similar results and let us know about it here.

The quick css code is added to the dynamic stylesheet located in wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css. Try to delete the entire dynamic_avia folder and re-save the theme options.
The theme writes all of the styling data to a new file that gets added to your uploads folder. If your server automatically makes the file non writable it can cause issue.
So first thing to try is to browse to your wordpress wp-content>uploads>dynamic_avia folder either with FTP or your servers file browser and change the chmod permissions on it to 755 for the folder and its contents. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

Keep all plugins but gravity forms plugin deactivated while trouble shooting.
Try this code instead:

If I add a simple new code to change any color settings of any element, then it’s not working. Are you using any caching on your server? please ask your host about it. Make sure that all files have the correct file permissions.

try it with a default WordPress theme to check if you get the same result or not on your product page. I think you could ask WooCommerce support about it.

it is fixed now. Kriesi uploaded already a new release of Enfold. Please install v3.8. Follow Kriesi on Facebook, Twitter, etc. to get notifications like that in the future.
