Hi!
The quality is fine now, but there is still something wrong with the proportions. I have removed the cache and even installed a fresh installation of Firefox, but it looks the same. Please have a look at this screenshot: Image
The greyscale portfolio image to the left is what I see, and the right image in color have I pasted in (with the correct proportions).
Regards,
TomasI think I get what that does, but I can’t get it to work. I have re-generated all images, and also tried with adding new images after changing in functions.php. Do the WP media settings affect this in any way? Cause I have the settings 80×80 (small), 0x0 (medium, must be something wrong here?) and 1030×1030 (large).

I have done some changes to grid.css that changes the width of the page, as you can se the width is wider than 1210px. So that’s what makes the images a bit streched out. It’s not much but still a bit irritating. I guess you can’t help me since it’s due to other changes with the theme? I may have to go to codeable where I got the help with “widening” the page.
My portfolio setting is “set image setting automatically”, and I’ve tried some other settings. Some of them sharpens the image quality, but I get other errors like white space between the image and the title. I guess it also have to do with the custom changes.
Regards,
TomasHi Yigit!
That works, but the images still acts a bit strange. It’s most easily seen at this portfolio: http://agwp.agarkitekter.se/omagarkitekter/medarbetare/
The first image is 400×300, and I have only added it as a post thumbnail (I want to view the whole image when I click on the ajax preview, and in the portfolio I want to see a scaled down version). The ajax preview image looks fine (even though I through this form got help fixing that by adding this custom css: “.page-id-26 .portfolio-preview-image { width: 36%; }”), but the portfolio image gets the wrong proportions, the face looks a bit wide. You see it clearly if you click on BECKMAN, TOMAS and compare the two images.
I though maybe it had someting to do with the downscaling, so instead I created a image with 191px i height and added it as the post thumbnail, and the 400×300 as a ajax preview image. That didn’t help at all though, now even the portfolio thumbnail image gets blurry.
Regards,
TomasOnce again a easy and perfect solution, thanks!
Great, that worked!
Thanks Dude! :)
Thanks for a superfast answer!
Hmm, I try removing the cache and reload on and on, but it’s still a link. Im testing it on Chrome and IE on Windows 7. But I think something should happen since the code is changed. Really strange…
Hi again!
Such a solution is no problem, I can edit any file at all :) But unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work, I get no change at all after editing those two lines.
Regards,
TomasHi,
That solution removed the lightbox, but there is still a image link (opens up in full window). I want to remove the link completely (or go to next image when clicked).

Hi!
That worked, but the problem is that I have 2 portfolios, and the other portfolio shouldn’t have small images (those images is 900×675).
Regards,
Tomas
That worked, thanks!
Too bad IE don’t support pointer-events though. Going in editing the ajax code maybe too complicated (?), so I guess this will do.
Hi,
I added it to quick CSS and removed my cache, but the links are still there.

New update :)
Seems not to be caused by the theme itself, but the changes I’ve made through Codeable. I’ll head there to get it solved.
Ok, I found some more info about the problem, and it’s not just only related to IE8. When WordPress 3.6 was released and before the theme got updated to 1.9.1, I through a tip on the “do not update thread” installed the plugin jQuery Updater (http://www.ramoonus.nl/webdesign/wordpress/jquery-updater/). It seems that it was causing some of the problems, but when I deactivated the plugin, I got problems on the latest Chrome instead. Easysliders don’t work at all (both in new Chrome and old IE8).
Maybe this has something to do with this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layerslider-jquery-incompatibility-issue ?
To be more precise, this is the error codes I get:
User agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; chromeframe/28.0.1500.95; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

The upgrade did it, thread can be closed!
artistic24459: The version on themeforest is now 1.9.1, it’s just missing the changelog.
That fixed it, thanks!
Hi!
Ok, so 1.9 got updated to 1.9.1. Exactly which files is diffrent between those two (I just see the 1.9 changelog on Themeforest)? I would like to avoid updating more than necessary (have some own codechanges here and there).
Hi Ismael,
Have Kriesi found the problem with the easy slider (he wrote about it here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/wordpress-36-update-wait-for-theme-updates/page/2)? Cause in Chrome, the Easy slider still freezes after the first switch after upgrading to 1.9.
Hi Kriesi!
I guess you have understood the easyslider problem, but I just wanted to mention that the problem only occurs on Chrome, not on IE (10).
Works like a charm! Thanks a lot!
It didn’t have to do with the edited files, I installed a clean version of the latest Enfold, and the problem it still there. Also tested to delete my quick CSS but no luck. The problem is both that I wrote in the first post, and also when I sort out something that has few items, the scrollbar looks like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3884801/2scrollers-B.jpg (scrollbar is just half of the browser and is scrollable down far where it’s just a big white area without content). I have also tried on a diffrent computer (still windows 7 though, but a completely diffrent screen).
Hi,
Hmm, strange. I get the problem without the admin bar too. If it’s related to a plugin or setting, wouldn’t it be a problem for you too then? I almost don’t have any plugins at all, but I have made som changes with the code. Im going to reset those just to see if they are causing the problem.
Great, thanks!
Thanks for a superfast answer!
Number 2 worked, thanks!
Im gonna try a bit with the first one, and ask Codeable if I cant get it to work by myself. One of you suggested that site in a another question here, and it’s great (Im making a new site for my company and we have no problems with paying some extra for specific functions)! Do you know if I have to edit both grid.css and layout.css or just one of them?
Excellent, that worked! Thanks!
Never mind, I solved it through this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/can-prevnext-on-portfolio-be-category-specific
May 21, 2013 at 6:39 am in reply to: Arrows for portfolio images not working in internet explorer? #120196Hi,
I have IE 10 (Windows 7) but it don’t work there either (works on Advanced Layerslider though). I don’t like IE at all, but unfortunately most people use it. Can I add arrows below or something? And at the same time remove the arrows on the image so Chrome and Firefox user don’t get double arrows….
