    Hey James,

    Sorry for the problems, maybe you could try to update manually instead? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi,
    Your PHP Version is: 5.6.37, this should be fine
    I see you are using Enfold v4.1.2, I have looked back over your posts and saw that you were not able to update your theme via FTP, but I didn’t see what errors that you received when your tried? Please explain.
    Please include FTP access in the Private Content area so we can assist.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #1010775

    Hi james-clickstream,

    You need to deactivate all plugins and try to update the theme again.

    cheers,

    james

    #1011259

    Hi james,

    Can you have all the plugins deactivated for now, please?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    #1011672

    ok they are all deactivated

    #1011846

    Hi james-clickstream r,

    Thanks for that. The theme needs to be updated via FTP at this point, since some files moved around and so the old folder needs to be deleted and the fresh version to be uploaded. I could not login to the FTP though, I got connection timeout 2 times.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    hi victoria,

    I don’t understand the problem. Do you need the server login details?

    These are below

    #1012065

    Hi,
    Thank you for the FTP login, I have renamed your old theme to “enfold-old” and uploaded the update.
    Everything seems to be working correctly, but please check for yourself. If you find the update is working then we can delete the folder “enfold-old”
    Please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #1012178

    it all seems to be working now, thank you very much

    #1012306

    hi Again,

    Enfold has updated but I have lost a banner that was on the left hand side of the header bar. the custom CSS to display it is still there but the banner is not displaying. The CSS is

    .phone-info { font-size: 22px; }

    #header .widget {
    left: 75%;
    padding-top: 40px;
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    transform: translate(-50%);
    z-index: 999;
    }

    Can you tell me why this banner is not working?

    Thank you

    James

    #1012774

    Hi,
    I fixed it. I had to add the widget code to the functions.php – the update overwrited the functions.php and I had to modify it again. I used the code from here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi,
    I took a look at your image, and found that it was linked with “http” instead of “https” so the CORS policy would not show it, I fixed the url and it seems to show correctly now.
    Please clear your browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #1014138

    hi mike & Dude,

    thank you for the fix. it was working correctly 2 days ago but now the image is displaying below the menu bar.

    Can you take another look at it?

    thank you

    james

    hi victoria,

    when i load the site the red banner with the phone number is below the blue menu bar (it looks different on your screen shot). I am viewing the website in safari & chrome.
