Hi.
I have multiple websites that have been updated to the latest version of Enfold, and have tokens created, and I can update the Theme as new updates are released.
But there are three websites using the Enfold Theme just will not validate the Token.
All 3 websites are at version 4.5, I manually updated them at the last release.I get the following errors when validating the Token:
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:
Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occured:Purchases: Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden
username Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden
email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden
Purchases: A problem occured accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.I have also tried using the Envato Market Plug-in.
Regards
IainDecember 7, 2018 at 10:52 am #1041977I am in the same situation and getting the same error message.

Thanks in advance

NikkoDecember 10, 2018 at 10:56 pm #1043409What is “incognito mode”?
December 11, 2018 at 8:51 am #1043620Hi,
Using Google Chrome, go to New Incognito Window. It’s supposed to be a version of Chrome which has less or no caching.

RikardDecember 11, 2018 at 9:11 am #1043626OK, deleting the Token/App, recreating it, removing it from Enfold, and re-adding it, all in incognito mode resulted in the same error.
December 11, 2018 at 9:16 am #1043628And using the Envato Market Plugin gives this error:
The OAuth Personal Token could not be verified. Please check that the Token has been entered correctly and has the minimum required permissions.
December 11, 2018 at 10:18 am #1043676Hi,
Thanks for the update. Did you follow the steps listed here when creating your token? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#toggle-id-6. Note that you need individual tokens for each site.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 11, 2018 at 10:16 pm #1044001Yes, I followed those instructions, several times!!
The only difference between the websites that registered correctly and those that didn’t seems to be that there is now a requirement to insert a URL.
I am assuming the URL I am meant to insert is the URL of the website in question?December 12, 2018 at 9:38 am #1044210Hi,
I’m assuming that you are correct, and inputting an individual URL for each site is not working then?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 12, 2018 at 10:51 pm #1044557That is correct.
An individual URL as applicable for each website,December 14, 2018 at 5:05 am #1045113Hi,
Thanks for the update. There is some type of problem on our end related to the new Envato tokens, though we are not sure exactly what it is yet. Would it be ok with you if we activated debug mode on one of your site and check the theme logs? I tried logging in with the details you provided in the first post but none of them work unfortunately.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 14, 2018 at 7:01 am #1045151Sure.
You can use domain https://www.bulkbagunloading.com
I got the Username wrong and the password correct.
Correct info now supplied, and the same login credentials apply to the other two websites.December 15, 2018 at 6:35 am #1045545Hi,
Thanks for that, much appreciated. Could you post FTP login details as well please? It looks like the editor function is disabled on your installation so we’ll need that to add the code.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 15, 2018 at 6:50 am #1045549What editor function are you referring to?
FTP credentials supplied.December 17, 2018 at 6:40 am #1046179Hi,
Thanks you very much much for that, we have tried to fix the problem but we haven’t reached all the way yet unfortunately. We will keep you updated as soon as there is any progress.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 18, 2018 at 4:22 am #1046726OK, thanks.
December 31, 2018 at 10:55 pm #1049242Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I checked your private token on my installation and as expected I got a validation error but I’m able to validate other tokens on my installation.
For testing purpose please try to validate the key which worked for you on the other site.
The error may be due to the token permission Please re-create a new token and try again.
Make sure all the required permissions are checked in the token generation page as mentioned in the below link.
Best regards,
VinayJanuary 16, 2019 at 9:53 am #1054508For now I have given up on these other websites.
I have now tried registering one website with it’s own individual Envato login.
And I get EXACTLY the same problem.
Even using the Envato Market Plug-in, I get this error:The OAuth Personal Token could not be verified. Please check that the Token has been entered correctly and has the minimum required permissions.
This is ridiculous, and is just too difficult.
It should not be this hard trying to get this to work.
Either there is a problem, or your instructions are wrong.
We pay good money for this product and it’s a convoluted ridiculous process to try and register a token.
Please look at the following website, check the permissions, and try to get the Token working yourself because I certainly can’t.January 16, 2019 at 9:56 am #1054509So it looks like your instructions are wrong.
I clicked on the link on the Envato Plugin setup page, and the permissions were completely different to those in your instructions!!!!January 22, 2019 at 4:45 pm #1057298Hi,
We are sorry for that – we might have changed something on the Envato page and we have not been notified.
Best regards,
Basilis -
