I have some issues too and i couldn´t fix it. The issues was because of the update.
Please see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/after-theme-update-some-things-changed/#post-820386(One other thing, this site is not SSL and alot of users are posting login details etc. You haven´t thought of forcing it to HTTPS?)
July 13, 2017 at 10:20 am #820433well first of all – great job again!
on color section background movie – on former versions – by inputing some content the aspect-ratio field opens directliy. Now i have to save and open again the element – now the aspect ratio is seen.
Edit: Seems to be only a bug of firefox – on chrome, safari, opera it still works as expected !Just installing 4.1 on that it works with firefox too !

July 13, 2017 at 3:22 pm #820563The update has made the menu creation no longer see any Woocommerce entries for products categories or the like.
I’m also suffering an out of memory error when using the enfold theme with Ubermenu, all pointing to a leak with the enfold theme.
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$theme_location in /var/sites/i/isotonikstudios.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php on line 141
A most unstable update, please provide a simple rollback function to clear up this mess!
Cheers

July 13, 2017 at 4:15 pm #820621Sadly not :-(
Ubermenu support can’t help, it’s an issue with Enfold…. Link to download previous version please, the Menu on Mobile is not working at all, text is virtually transparent…
July 13, 2017 at 6:01 pm #820706Hi guys, I’m excited to update! Just curious, is there a general guideline on how old of a version it is safe to update from? We’re currently running version 3.8. Will this be ok to update from directly to the new version? Or should we do a step update first to a version in between? We’re going to try updating more frequently going forward.
Many thanks,

July 13, 2017 at 9:35 pm #820789My website is now pulling 2 menus simultaneously :/ creating a disaster with the usability .. yikes! And the mobile menu completely gone.
Perhaps a bit of a premature release?- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by Justin.
July 13, 2017 at 9:51 pm #820809Seriously, where are the files to rollback, the menus on this update are horrendous, did anyone do any testing?
July 13, 2017 at 9:56 pm #820810Hey guys, make sure to walk through the original post from Enfold. After deactivating and reactivating my plugins and clearing my cache my site seems to work great now!
Love the new updates. Although a little apprehensive about making the move just yet on client sites.
Keep up the great work!
JSJuly 14, 2017 at 3:00 am #820914My site is an utter mess since updating to Enfold 4.1 on every browser type from Chrome to Edge to Safari.

VictoriaJuly 15, 2017 at 5:57 am #821566Hi all,
My auto update in wordpress is taking a very long time? is this normal?July 15, 2017 at 7:21 am #821595Hi,
Is it that when you click on “Update theme” in the theme options the time to update takes a long time?
This is not a theme related issue but updates depend on may factors like the internet speed and server settings and also if the server from which you receive the update is busy it may take longer than usual.
Best regards,

DavidMenus seem to be fixed if you turn off every plugin, switch theme to another then back to enfold and turn the plugins back on….
However my Header Bar now overlays my content overtime…
July 15, 2017 at 7:37 pm #821789Hi David,
Could you please post a few screenshots in private of the issue. Looks fine on my end.

RikardJuly 16, 2017 at 8:31 pm #822155I am building my blog pages in the advanced editor. I have everything how I want it, but I’ve realized the post meta (Author Name, Post Category, and Post Date) don’t appear by default. (Obviously since I’m using the advanced layout editor)
So I’m trying to find a way to insert something in the advanced layout editor to retrieve this information automatically for every post.
Is there anyway to accomplish this? I saw some posts on this but they were closed and I am unsure what to do. Please advise. Thank you.
I cant seem to start a new thread on this and need help with solution. Thank you.
July 16, 2017 at 10:09 pm #822189Um. I updated to version 4.1.1 and expected the Layer Slider problem to be fixed.
Sadly, its not. I am still showing Layer Slider needs an update.
Current version with Enfold is 4.1.1 the latest version required is 6.5.5
Why, oh why isn’t this fixed.
Wordpress still shows a plugin needs an update.July 17, 2017 at 1:31 am #822262Hi @Rikard !
Cleared the Chrome browser a couple of times and worked like a charm… this is soooo awesome!!!
Best theme ever!!!
Warmly,
HaviJuly 17, 2017 at 1:38 am #822263Keep up the fantastic work Kriesi. The new features are very nice.
@photoviews7. Try clearing your cache and deactivating/reactivating all plugins to see what happens.July 17, 2017 at 6:44 am #822342Hi @hohnesy,
The easiest option to get the “default” elements into your posts would be to switch to the default editor once you are ready to save, could you try that out please?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 17, 2017 at 6:47 am #822343Hi @photoviews7,
Since they are releasing a lot of versions lately, why that is I don’t know unfortunately. The version which is included in the theme is tested and is working with the theme, that is why that version is included. Isn’t better to have a version which is known to be working rather that the latest one which is not tested? If we were to keep up with their updates then we would have to release a new version at least once a week.
Best regards,
Rikard -
