    Hallo,

    ich habe eine zweite Webseite mit Enfold erstellt nun möchte ich diese mit einem API Key für Updates usw ausstatten.
    Muss ich über meinen Envato Account einfach den Theme Enfold ein zweites mal kaufen und wie funktioniert dann die Zuordnung der zweiten Webseite/URL?

    Hallo lzeuner,

    One license is only valid for one domain, so if you have used the same license for both sites then yes, you would need to purchase another license to be able to receive automatic update.

    ok das bedeutet ich kaufe das Theme bei Themeforest einfach ein zweites Mal und Trage den API Key in die zweite WordPress-Installation auf den zweiten Domain ein? Richtig?

    Hello,

    i bought a second licence. After that i generate a second api key on my themeforest account.
    I insered the api key at my wordpress installation but while updating the enfold theme i get a failure message.

    “Beim Aktualisieren von Enfold ist ein Fehler aufgetreten: Download fehlgeschlagen. Es wurde keine gültige URL übermittelt.”

    A new Version (4.5.4) of your Enfold Theme is available! You are using Version 4.4.
    See what’s new in change log. Do you want to update?

    Hi lzeuner,

    Earlier versions have a different version of the Envato API, and so we had issues. No, those issues are resolved.

    when i will update enfold how you describe in your links above i will loose all my colour setting and other setting which i do in my Enfold Theme Options?
    the fist link says i should delete my current enfold theme and the second way says uploading a new verion so it will be overwritten. whats the right way?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    Also please read this after updating: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Your theme settings should be safe, but as always we recommend to backup your site first and export your theme settings from the theme options.
