Hi ReneBrouwer,
I can’t imagine something like that slipping by Kriesi as he tests on all iOS devices. What version of phone and OS is it specifically? I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi as he is the only iPhone user but any additional information will help him diagnose the issue.
Regards,
Devin
Hi italiatiles,
Glad you were able to figure it out! For any future posts its important to know that our queue system goes by oldest topic posted to newest so self bumps actually push a topic to the end of our queue.
So next time we’ll be able to answer a bit more quickly if you don’t self bump :)
Regards,
Devin
the search bar is now in a second nav bar, much like the one that we already removed once, it needs to be all the way at the top with the rest. and I need the social icons to run up and down the side, not across/horizontal. Thanks
Hi there.
Several days ago, we post this topic….
We got the same error…
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function layerslider_init() in /homepages/4/d369761083/htdocs/PEPANET/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 121” …
We got the last versión for ENFOLD, 1.9 and WP versión is 3.5.1
THATS YOUR ANSWER ….
Check your pages for Layer Slider elements, remove them update the page then insert them back
Regards,
Ismael
We have 2 questions….
1º If we remove a slider page…we should creat it from scratch… There is not other way to do it?
2º We should create all the slides from scartch?? Could we duplicate them, or the problem is the dupication?
Best,
jacobo
Dear support team,
thanks for the great theme, but as so many other, i have a special request. Perhaps i didn’t look good but i did not find a topic for this item for Enfold. I want to display social icons in the same container as the main menu. Hope you can help me with this.
greetings Ronny from the Netherlands

hello
i’m trying to RTL the theme, i have a problem with the search bar (at the moment) :
<div class="avia-search-tooltip avia-tt" style="opacity: 0; display: none; top: 64px; left: -136px;"><div class="inner_tooltip">
where can i find the left property to change it to the right ? i searched all over the theme.
another question: can i use icons inside the table rows ?
Hey Nick!
thanks for your response. I tried what you advised to do. I replaced the main banner (layer slider) with image element. also I deleted 49px block. After that it did centralized whatever is in color section. but have a look what happened with the top banner. Also still the gallery sliders are not properly top aligned aligned with the date on its right side.
Also I really need to keep the design as it was before (i really need to keep layer slider where it was because later it will be a rotating slider with different images for each of the different page).
So, now would you like me to revert it back to its original condition as it was before then may be it will be a bit more easy for you to provide css and answer my all questions attached in the screen shot I provided you before?
Hi Nick,
I have several additions in my Quick CSS from previous queries, could this be what is causing the problem? (below):
I have the fullscreen easy slider in the footer, but haven’t used the layer slider, do you mean I should delete this element anyway, even if not used?.
Thanks Nick,
Gary
#top .social_bookmarks li {
float: right;
}
.sub_menu {
left: 0;
}
html {
background: white !important;
}
#top .social_bookmarks_mail:hover a{color:#efefef; background-color:#666666; }
.iconlist-char {color:#0093dd;}
.avia-icon-list .iconlist_icon {
background: white !important; border: 2px solid #0093dd;
}
#top #socket .social_bookmarks {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
}
@media only screen and (min-width: 786px) and (max-width: 1000px) {
.avia-icon-list .iconlist_icon {
height: 50px;
width: 50px;
line-height: 50px;
font-size: 25px;
margin-right: 15px;
}
}
This is the line that screws it up:
#top .fullsize .template-blog a ,#top .fullsize .template-blog .small-preview img{float:none; display: inline-block; width:100%;}
to fix it I added this to the customCSS:
#top .fullsize .template-blog a {float:none; display: inline; width:100%;}
It works now, but its really annoying.
Can you guys PLEASE fix the theme!!!
You can keep the default at 600px… as long as you give the rest of us an OPTION to use the entire width of the page for our content.
Hey,
If you want to remove the square or box, just use this:
.avia-slideshow-arrows a::before {
background: #000;
background: transparent;
}
You can change the arrow color using this:
#top .avia-slideshow-arrows a {
color: red;
}
Regards,
Ismael
Hey,
Can you please remove the code with max-width: 100%? Use this instead:
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content {
max-width: 1024px;
}
Regards,
Ismael
Hey,
Yes, that is possible. You can adjust the width of full width post using this:
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content {
max-width: 950px;
}
Adjust the width value. If you want to target specific post, just view the source then look for the body class.
#top.postid-1 .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content {
max-width: 950px !important;
}

Ismael
Hi,
Please upgrade to Enfold 2.0 available on your themeforest account and deactivate the plugins, see if it fixes the issue.
Regards,
Ismael
The search box is now below the top menu I had added before. I need it all the way on top with the other categories. And the social icons indeed went left but I need them to run vertical not horizontal, please and thanks, I appreciate your help.
Hey,
You can use this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to hide the header and breadcrumb:
.single-ai1ec_event #header, .single-ai1ec_event .stretch_full.container_wrap.alternate_color.dark_bg_color.title_container {
display: none;
}
single-ai1ec_event .fixed_header.social_header #main {
padding-top: 0;
}
Regards,
Ismael
Hey,
You can add a request here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests
You can hide the image using this on your Quick CSS:
.avia-content-slider-inner .slide-image {
display: none;
}
Regards,
Ismael
Hey,
Please delete the css code I above and use this instead:
.menu-main-menu-container ul li {
display: none;
}
#menu-item-search {
display: block !important;
}
For the social icons, you can use this:
#header_main .social_bookmarks {
position: fixed;
left: 50px;
top: 20%;
}
Regards,
Ismael
Hi Nick – We didn’t go out of our way to deploy the theme uniquely…we have not edited any theme files.
Hi Devin, Thanks for the reply and I can appreciate your comments as always here. I think it would just be nice to see more information about integration with popular plugins like the Ubermenu available to Enfold users so we don’t have to post so many topics about these type of problems in the first place and especially resort to hiring a freelancer to resolve them.
I took the time to speak with the author of the Ubermeny before purchase and he was perfectly willing to write a full installation guide specifically for the Enfold theme that would address any likely or common problems if the theme was made available to him to do so.
Unfortunately I was told this wouldn’t be possible, which is disappointing considering the fact that he told me how many other authors have provided their themes for this purpose. If you take a look at his site you will see guides for almost all the most popular themes including Striking, making it much easier for their users to find the information they require.
I don’t expect or need help customising the theme to any great degree as I’ve already done that and wouldn’t expect support to cover this. All my questions have been related to features of the theme that haven’t worked as expected one way or another or general compatibility queries. If you’re stating that the Ubemenu is compatible with the theme though, I wouldn’t expect to have to hire a developer to get it to work acceptably and that’s all I wanted. No customisations or styling at all, just installation so that it works.
Many thanks for your time as always though and obviously I’ll have to look at hiring a developer as suggest.
Hi,
Not sure if this is related to this issue but you have /enfold/enfold/ which is quite unusual and would probably require some rewrites to even get working. Any particular reason you are using such a folder structure? Have you edited any of the theme files?
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
i can explain for you how its done. you make a fake menu that goes up from the bottom, to the top and keeps on going. But just at the moment that the fake menu is lined up perfectly on the very top , jquerry makes visible a menu that is real but looks identical to fake menu that was invisible on the very top all along and it becomes visible the very moment the fake menu occupies the same space but on a level below it. This creates the illusion that the menu became stuck on top.
I suggest you become familiar with Chrome developer tools which will help you to locate the code – both css and jquery as well as html which create this illusion. however you will still need to know php and wordpress specific functions in order to be able to create a functional menu and integrate it with a theme. Such a project is outside the scope of the support team and we recommend you hire a freelance developer to assist you, or find a plugin that offers such functionality.
thanks,
nick
Hi,
Your page has numerous identical errors because your website uses HTTP and you are connecting to Google Maps server using HTTPS ( https;//maps.google.com ) which results in a very slow, choppy, fubar website. Please be consistent , and use either all HTTPS or all HTTP. i counted 80 errors in 15 seconds and more were coming none stop..
That’s part of it. The other part is harder to deal with . http://www.webpagetest.org/result/130818_5D_GJH/1/details/ . Your page has 250+ individual objects that are being loaded while most sites have around 110. Take a look at the amount of gunk that’s being loaded from i am not sure where since a fresh theme doesnt load 1/4 of these. Your site shouldn’t take this long to load or you will get a penalty. the initial 2 second wait speaks of a problem with sql server. talk to your host about this, as perhaps they might be overselling a bit..
1.5 million? nice! Kriesi has been working on a new design for this site which will be unveiled i believe sooner than later.

Nice customization of Choices on the linkrep website, I like the font on bottom right ,,, very crisp. though you are using a very old version of Choices, around 10 months old at least.. that I would update from your 1.5 to 1.9 , the current. You shouldn’t be running 1.5….. you can use http://www.winmerge.com to transfer any customizations you made to the templates and if none were made, then update with straight ftp.
thanks,
nick
Hi,
Those are not images but glyphs , a font much the same as any other font but instead of letters they have those symbols. if you look at your text editor you can add one with a shortcode (magic wand with yellow glow button on top of text editor) , then you can give it font size 190px or so and it will look like a large image though it is selectable as any regular font.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Please add this to your quick css or to /css/custom.css file
#top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:first-child {
border-top-width: 0px;
}
#top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:last-child {
border-bottom-width: 0px;
}
.main_color, .main_color .site-background {
background-color:#FFF !important;
}
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
You can get in touch with Ismael using these directions: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/images-in-gallery-disappearing#post-120691
Thanks,

Hi,
It’s possible to change the order of any gallery by rearranging the order of the images after you add each gallery image. Take a look at the first answer here. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/making-the-gallery-respect-image-order
I just repeated your steps 4 times , some i added a new image to the gallery, others just resaved , but everything always came out the way it was supposed to.
Do you have a url you can show us please.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Sorry about that man. i paste that URL so many times that I think I started tuning it out. Need to use a different url shortner. My bad. Funny thing is I remember your website now, that old man in white. lol.
I started giving you the css now, but deleted it. you have fundamental problems with the design so everything is backwards. Please remove the layer slider and instead just add an image element. if you do that, all else will fall into place (if you remove also from custom.css the top:-49px block.
thanks,
Nick
I was given this CSS code to allow the full width post to be FULL WIDTH instead of 600px:
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content, #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content>* {max-width: 100%;}
but it doesnt work. The post is full width, but the .post-meta-info is crewed up and the plugins after the post have wrong formatting as well.
example: http://www.candidtown.com/portraits-clariza/
Is it possible for you guys to actually FIX the settings so that full-width is actually FULL WIDTH … and not 600px.
I know that Kriesi thinks that the posts look bad when they are in full width, but I think he should let US decide whether we want to make it 600px … You can keep it at 600 by default, but you should provide an option to let us change it to full-width if we choose.
Your theme is great, but this weird setting of yours is really annoying.
