Hi Support Team,
I need to add an additional social icon to the Social Profiles Section in the header area of theme options and in the widget of Enfold. I am working with a child theme if that helps. The icon that needs to be added is Houzz and I’ve downloaded from Fontello. I can see it in the choices within Content Elements for “Icon List”.
I have been through that tutorial and reviewed many of the forums regarding this. It’s not working…Here is what I have added to my CHILD THEME: functions-child.php

Sorry, I’m a beginner on Enfold.
I am looking for how to place my Facebook icon in the footer (not the socket). I activated what is needed in the options of the theme (in the footer tabs and social profiles). From what I’ve seen, I have to add a code in my widget and CSS in general style, but everything I’ve tried does not work.
Should I dowloader the fonte entypo-fontello or is it already integrated into the theme, for me it is not clear. Is that the problem?

I did look at this. Both of these codes add the widget to the header. I am trying to add it to the extra header option above the header where the social media icons are on the left and extra info (like phone number) are on the right. I’d like to add the widget to the center.Thanks
I’ve set this website to boxed layout as it seems to be the only way to get a left sidebar going.
I would prefer to completely create the sidebar as a custom text HTML widget with the logo + menu links (as image assets) + social icons of my own, but I can’t figure out a way to completely remove the header from the entire site and use a sidebar widget in stead. Is that possible? If not:

I think is not exactly what I need. I include the social media icons as shortcodes in the footer widget (column 1).
But I would like to show them only for mobile devices, when the social icons dissapear on main menu…
Because now on mobile devices, people can’t see the social media icons.

Link of the last button (https://www.amazon.com/) is somehow linked to entire copyright text as well as Credit Card Image in Footer – Column4 below 5 social buttons/links.
Same is happening in this post text below amazon button is a link which should not be…2) Also copyright is displayed on 2 lines instead of one, why?
I found similar topic it suggested to type the code manually instead of copy paste that didn’t work.

I’m trying to inject this shortcode (from debug mode) into posts externally after I upload a video so I can automate my YouTube > WordPress publishing. The problem is that it injects the shortcode into the main content body of the post and the “advanced layout editor” is not enabled. So it ends up posting the shortcode within the standard blog template.
I think if I could enable the Advanced Layout Editor by default when a post is published then it would fix my problem. Is it possible to do this?

Hi there, I hope you’re doing great!
I would need your help to adjust the way the header extra elements and header height are displayed on the mobile version of my site.
Here are my existing extra elements settings in Enfold child: http://www.screencast.com/t/9xMyRdY5b
And here is how these elements and header show up on an iPhone 5s: http://www.screencast.com/t/NCG3uLANzGrc1/ I would like the extra elements (i.e. the AJAX search icon, the qtranslate widget under phone info, and the social profile icons) to be displayed on the same line with the logo and main menu icon, or at least have all of these extra elements together on a single line above the logo and main menu icon, aligned left.
2/ I would also like to narrow down the white area under the header. I assume the large space comes from the fact that there is a hidden text block for the language switch before the layer slider, but that space looks much larger on a mobile that on my computer and should be shrinkable.
I appreciate your help with this as I have already tried some self-made Quick CSS combinations without success!

I have issues with my sidebar.
The mailchimp form widget in the sidebar has a red “submit” button.
The same widget in the footer has a black button. I want the sidebar to match the footer.
The social icons in the sidebar are red.
The widget in the footer are black. I want the sidebar to match the footer.
I’ve tried to change the color of the font in the sidebar, but it didn’t work.
How can I make the sidebar match the footer with these two?

I just increase the max-width and decrease the social icon width to 25px. So, to fix it, just add this custom CSS code at Enfold Theme Options > General Styling > Quick CSS

I have an issue as in that the social media icons are not loading correctly in Safari (latest version)… I added them to a footer widget with the the following short code:

It is loading them correctly when I look at the site in Chrome but not in Safari… they should be black and 50px in size… it used to work but I think since the second last update it is no longer working in Safari.

I like the way the “Enfold RSS Link and Twitter Account” widget displays in the footer (it’s more prominent than social icons in the socket), but would like to add “Facebook” to that widget. Is there an easy way to do that? (I’m not a php coder, moderate in my wordpress skills, was hoping I could just drag a widget down to include facebook and twitter (especially).
You can see its current display in the footer at http://www.phonymoralguidance.com — I’d like to add facebook to that display. There may be a better solution that the widget, including third party options. I’m using a child theme — want to avoid anything that would be wiped out by theme updates.

The login for the temporary User account I created for your support team in December has not changed…not sure why it did not work for you. I generated a new password and I was able to login just fine with it (see private content).
Go to http://nwcm.com/retirement-income-estimator/ and you will see that when it is set to use the right side bar (CapitalYOU Side Bar), the side bar covers part of the calculator. When I reduce the width size in the code for the calculator, the width does not change to fit within the page when the right side bar is being used, which requires the user to scroll back and forth to see the entire calculator and move to the next area of the calculator. We need the full calculator content to show as well as the right side bar.
The issue with the breadcrumbs not showing correctly was never resolved. I had to turn that feature off in most of our posts because it was not working correctly. When you go to http://nwcm.com/capitalyou-blog/ and then click on Commentary & Insights, the breadcrumbs should show as:

but instead it shows as:
You are here: Home/Commentary & Insights
We can’t use the Categories widget for the side bar due to the way the Blog is structured (note: I included a full explanation about the structure of the Blog in my support ticket in December 2016)Please also refer to the post entitled “Death To The Fiduciary Rule” http://nwcm.com/2017/02/15/death-fiduciary-rule/ – you will see that it is not showing the featured image and not showing the social share icons.
