    Hi!

    Ipad and iphone problems:

    1) You have to click twice on the portfolio thumbnails to open it. People don’t realize it, they click once and than they just wait, complaining about the connection speed.

    2) On the iphone, when you open full screen image, you cant leaf images by clicking on it. Its very uncomfortable to push the very small button below.

    Thank you!

    Hello!

    My old site had all preview images of portfolio works with size of 200×200 pixels.

    So now I want to disable resizing of images in Enfold theme(it will allow mу to use old preview images).

    All prewiew images shoud have the size of 200×200, no matter what size the browser have.

    I think I shoud change something in the functions.php

    $avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] 			 	= array('width'=>36,  'height'=>36);						// small preview pics eg sidebar news
    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] = array('width'=>710, 'height'=>270); // big images for blog and page entries
    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_without_sidebar']= array('width'=>1030, 'height'=>360 ); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
    $avia_config['imgSize']['square'] = array('width'=>180, 'height'=>180); // small image for blogs
    $avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>1500, 'height'=>430 ); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>495, 'height'=>400 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)
    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio_small'] = array('width'=>260, 'height'=>185 ); // images for portfolio 4 columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['gallery'] = array('width'=>710, 'height'=>575 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)

    Or may be theris a way to simply disable this function(but in other occasions resize shoud work)?

    Ps:

    Using regenerate thumbnail have completely made a mess of the blog grid…

    #119410

    The problem is when you click on the search magnifying glass. The line image appears down on the page. I disabled all Firefox addons and still had the issue. This is the only Windows 8 machine I have to test on. The page works on all other browsers and versions of Windows.

    Hi,

    I have added a team member module in a page, I have loaded a picture, I have even used the regenerate thumbnail plugin to try to solve this problem, but no matter what, the image won’t display.

    The image appears when I am on the page builder, but not on my page online.

    I work on localhost so I can’t show you but I have just the text and no image.

    Can you fix this please?

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

    I found a way by creating a 6×2 image grid and then importing my own mono logo for each one. I assume I can make each box link to either a URL or my own portfolio page. Not as funky as having it switch colours but for now it works a treat. There’s a nice rollover effect and a thin wire frame surrounding everything too. A work-a-round I do believe!!!

    Cheers as always

    Hi,

    Add this on your custom.css

    .news-thumb {
    border: none;
    }

    To resize the thumbnail, go to functions.php then find this code

    $avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] = array('width'=>36, 'height'=>36); // small preview pics eg sidebar news

    Add this on your custom.css. Change the width and height according to the thumbnail size then regenerate the thumbnails.

    .image_size_widget .news-thumb {
    height: 36px;
    width: 36px;
    }

    Regards,

    Hi,

    Please use this instead. It will render a transparent box and leave the circle behind. :)

    .image-overlay.overlay-type-extern {
    background: transparent;
    }

    Hi,

    It is not humanly possible to memorize every customization on every page of all 25+ themes created by Kriesi. Our expertise allows us to hear your issue and based on experience to find a solution.

    There is a setting when you add icon boxes to chose between the two types. On the page you showed one setting is the top box, and another setting is for the bottom box. http://www.clipular.com/c?5984183=nP5u95YY68zTnjdZQ7M-p3K48II&f=.png

    ”Icons” is a deceptive word for what those objects are, and I think the word ‘glyphs’ better describes them. They are actually letters in a font, so normally they use the background color of the surface they are displayed on. You can see this for yourself by selecting a glyph/icon from the url you included, and then pasting it into a text editor.There is a finite number of these glyphs, but more are created by font designers.

    So your question “How do we create those icon boxes with secondary background color?”

    Go to Enfold > Styling … These settings http://www.clipular.com/c?5979214=wbrivr4adQ4g86CNba80vyKmb0c&f=.png produce this look http://www.clipular.com/c?5981208=QQxKvMUsOUltUkXuW9UQEHceyWs&f=544f41686b75de40fc3a238eeae84636

    So you can match the colors to see what causes what. Obviously if you leave the color completely out of the setting, the glyph will take a background color of anything below it including an image.

    If you want the direct css to be able to change the colors, here it is ( http://www.clipular.com/c?5983163=jwLi-AjivmSQAOy2kDhl86kB-TA&f=.png ) <– css blocks explained in image

    Icon Position Setting : Left (on the above link to image, it is CSS BLOCK 1)

    /*---background,color,border color of the settings:left glyph---*/
    #top .iconbox_icon.heading-color.avia-font-entypo-fontello {
    background-color:rgb(174,255,181);
    color:rgb(205,6,255);
    border-color:rgb(41,11,255);
    border-width:1px;
    border-style: solid;
    }

    Icon Position Setting : Top (on the above link to image, it is CSS BLOCK 2)

    /*---background color of the box itself (orange)---*/
    /*---shadow around the box itself (raspberry)---*/
    #top .iconbox_top .iconbox_content {
    background:rgb(233,122,37);
    box-shadow: 2px 2px 3px 2px rgb(160,49,49);
    }
    /*---background,color,border color of the circle and of the glyph---*/
    #top .main_color.iconbox_top .iconbox_icon {
    background-color:rgb(174,255,181);
    color:rgb(205,6,255);
    border-color:rgb(41,11,255);
    border-width:1px;
    border-style: solid;
    }

    *If you want to make every icon box on a page to have its own colors, you will need to use CSS with firebug or Chrome Developer Tools to look at the code ***after*** creating the boxes to get their individual ID numbers and add those to the above css. I hope this answers your question :)

    The problem is, that the title and alt-texts in the source code are empty in the source code even if you enter something in the field in the library.

    Hello. Regarding the sidebar/footer widget that displays the latest posts / portfolio items. How do you… (1) Remove the thumbnail border? (2) How can I create a larger thumbnail image? I’m using the resize image plugin, but I’m not sure what size thumbnail the widget is using? Thanks.

    Topic: Next and Prev Arrows

    Hello. Is there a setting that enables the next/prev button when viewing portfolio items and blog articles? I’m referring to the next/prev arrows that appear on the side of the browser. The arrows show the title and a small thumbnail image. For some reason, I’m no longer seeing the arrow navigation? Is this based on the layout (boxed/wide) or something else that I can look at? I only have the site local for now. Thanks!

    #118383

    That removed the white box, however, the image and text still ‘jump’ down when moused over in Firefox. In Safari, the logo moves slightly, but the text still jumps down.

    Is there a way to remedy this?

    I liked the ‘circle’ when moused over. Acted as a prompt. Is there a way to get that back without the white box?

    Hi there,

    Im doing my portfolio and I often see sites with a client grid with logo’s that are links to other pages. Ideally it would be good to get an image to react on rollover and go from a greyscale image to full color or a duotone (say orange)

    Before I purchased the theme it was suggested that this would be relatively easy but im not sure where/how the best way to go about this.

    Can you suggest how to go about this and ensure everything is kept responsive

    I would like a 2 row grid of 5/6 colums of grey scale logo’s that would turn orange on rollover and have links to other pages on the site

    Cheers

    Andy

    Hi,

    This was definately a rough one. I came up with the css that fixes Firefox , but it unfortunately breaks Chrome. So please do this.

    Open up header.php and change line 13 that looks like

    <html <?php language_attributes(); ?> class="<?php echo " html_$style ".$responsive." ".$headerS;?> ">

    to look like

    <html <?php language_attributes(); ?> class="<?php echo avia_get_browser('class', true) ." html_$style ".$responsive." ".$headerS;?> ">

    Save that file, and now add the following CSS to Quick CSS or your /css/custom.css file

    .firefox #top p a, .opera #top p a {
    display:inline !important;
    position:inherit !important;
    }

    Please let us know if this one does the trick.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hey,

    I absolutely love this theme. The only thing i don’t like is the design of the portfolio grid. The theme has a lot of beautiful whitespace but the portfolio items are crammed together. Is there a way to create more whitespace/padding around the thumbnails? Ideally i would like it to look more like the 3column images in the Home V2 homepage. But just a little more whitespace would be nice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Antonio,

    My guess is the autoplay on the video is causing the avia builder to run into issues. In general, its never a good idea to have videos auto play but when using the advanced editor, it attempts to run anything inside of it/display images to better help users making visual layouts (we’re looking at options for this).

    Another thing to try would be to disable Jetpack and the Statcounter plugin and see if that helps. Jetpack, while feature packed is very invasive in what it effects through wordpress but perhaps one/both of them is having some conflicts with the video content or the builder in general.

    I wasn’t able to reproduce any of the testimonial issues on my end however. Is it only in a specific browser or OS?

    Regards,

    Devin

    I have read the forum and cannot seem to find the solution for Enfold.

    Issue:

    I need to allow for the header and the content area (of course all other areas), to be able to show the body background image through the color. I am working with a client, a band, that wants a Grunge background, and a semi transparent body, header etc. I have been able to accomplish this with AVADA, but I would prefer to use Enfold. Can you send me some suggestions as to the css?

    Thanks

    Very happy with this theme! Looks and works great.

    Just have a couple of things I’m not able to fix.

    I use the Small Fixed Header for my site. Works good on most pages. However for some reason on one page there is some space above the header. This happens when using the Advanced layout editor adding a color section with a 2/3 section tabs and 1/3 text. Any idea on how to solve this? Example : http://imageshack.us/a/img560/5435/screenshot20130515at115.png

    The second I’m not able to fix: on http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/42/screenshot20130515at115.png/ I want to have the normal text ‘Boek Nu’ on the same line as the button ‘Meer informatie’.

    Hope you can help!

    Ok! Im thinking of contacting you to maybe paying for that custom work, how do I proceed to do that? I guess I just cant go with a plugin (like http://codecanyon.net/item/picanim-jquery-image-hover-effect-pulgin/2835834?ref=themespotters)?

    to the image link.

    Hey!

    Yes, open up wp-contentthemesenfoldincludesloop-portfolio-single.php and delete

    $thumb = get_the_post_thumbnail(get_the_ID(), $avia_config['size']);

    if($thumb) echo "<div class='page-thumb'>{$thumb}</div>";
