    Hi there,

    Currently I am using the Ajax portfolio, which I think looks really great.
    Actually, I think it’s so great I don’t want to use the single page porfolio items at all.
    Is it possible to disable the link to the sing page porfolio from Ajax porfolio?
    Currently when you click the portfolio tittle in the Ajax portfolio you’re linked to the single page entry.
    I found that i’m able to overwrite the Portfolio Link setting and link to the external URL, and I figured I could link to an image that suits the porfolio item.
    But if possible I’d prefer to disable the link.

    Is there any code for that?

    Regards,

    Jeroen

    Hey!

    If you use it as following then it will be only applied to that particular slider

    .slide-id-2800 .avia-caption { right: 17px; }
    .slide-id-2800 .avia-caption-content { float: right; }

    Best regards,

    Hey ableart!

    You are currently using Enfold version 1.7. Please update it to the version 2.3.2. There have been many bug fixes and improvements in the theme since version 1.7. You should login on ThemeForest with the account you have purchased Enfold with, then go to Downloads and download Enfold.
    For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

    Hi,
    I am using Wp 3.6.1 and Enfold 2.3.2

    I’m starting publishing my first post with Image format and a featured image, through Insert a Media.
    The image is 1500×430
    The pb is it is not showing properly in size, and there is a big white space on the left. See : http://imgur.com/QqKU6ee
    Furthermore, it is non clickable to view it entirely as in your “Default Post with Preview Image – beautiful”.

    Thank you for your help

    #176381

    Thanks for the quick reply!

    Another question: Is it possible to limit the search to posts (of a certain category, perhaps with preview image??) only? I do not want the search to return pages, tags or portfolio items. I’ve looked at search.php in the enfold files but I’m lost.

    Hi – I would like to make the slider in the same width of the text in the front page.
    What size should I set the slider to be and what size should I create the images?

    Well, the feature I am asking about is pre-built into your template and it works as described. But unfortunately if selecting a Template attribute of Blank – No Header, no Footer, the entire page background turns white when using a “boxed” layout. For example, using Boxed Grunge, the entire grunge background disappears and the underlying page color behind that BG image is now white. Hard coding custom edits to the css changes nothing either. Manually adding the background properties to HTML.html_boxed does not affect the page. And of course any edits to the BODY CSS property will not be recognized because your template outputs the following <html lang="en-US" class=" html_boxed responsive "> just after the DOC type declaration.

    Is this intended or a bug?

    It is easy to replicate and check on your end with your default installation of data. Which is what we are working with. Two clicks and you’ll see the bug that I’m talking about. Select Blank as the page layout in the Dashboard Page Editor on your default Portfolio page here –> Home v5: Portfolio Style

    You’ll see quickly for yourself that the background turns white under a Boxed Grunge layout. Poof it’s gone. I haven’t tried on a full page layout, Only Boxed Grunge and Boxed Blue Styling. Same results and errors for Boxed Blue & Grunge.

    Screenshot to follow.

    There is something I can’t figure out. Main goal is making the Fullscreen Slider “100% minus 100px in height, instead of 100% height of the screen so you will see some of the content at the bottom.

    In the code below you’ll see a height of 836px, which is auto updated when I rescale the browser window. Changing the code manually with Chome > inspect element to the height -100px does the job.

    I think I need to edit a piece of JS, but can’t find out what I should edit.

    Please, advice. Thanks!

    <div data-size="no scaling" data-animation="slide" data-ids="3196" data-autoplay="false" data-bg_slider="true" data-slide_height="100" data-handle="av_fullscreen" data-interval="5" data-class=" " data-css_id="fullscreen_slider_0" data-stretch="" data-lightbox_size="large" class="avia-slideshow avia-slideshow-1 avia-slideshow-no scaling av_fullscreen avia-slide-slider " itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://schema.org/ImageObject" style="height: 836px;">

    In reply to: Linkable iconbox

    But it is not the icons, its the linking of the entire box. My original icons are not visible, I’m using images with z-index on the homepage.

    Hey!

    Yes but unfortunately I don’t have a native install of IE8. I tested it with IETester and IE10 developer console and both showed the images.

    Thank you, Yigit.

    Does this change only this particular Caption title and text? Would this change how other caption texts and title displayed on the site?

    #176232

    Hey!

    You’re using a 3 column layout but you’re uploading small featured images. Please try larger images as featured image for products. Suggested minimum width should be 400px.

    Hi. I’m using the ENFOLD theme (great theme) and the website has been set up for a couple of months. I have just tried to add a new image and I keep getting an error. It crunches through and then I get “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    Can you please take a look at this?

    My site is jaksa.com.au

    Hi!

    What type of header are you using? The header you want requires a bit of customization, you might need to hire a freelance developer to modify the header for you. Can you please give us a link to the website? We need to see what you have done lately.

    Cheers!

    Topic: Portfolio Grid Feature

    in forum Enfold

    Good evening,

    I am using One Page Portfolio for my website. I created a Gallery, but there is no way to limit the number of items per page to create pages, therefore, it’s a long gallery of almost 100 images – I will delete it once I figure this out, too much scrolling for visitors who aren’t interested in the images.

    From looking at the demo page, I guess what I really want is a Portfolio Grid with “Portfolio 4 Column”, 8 items per page. I grasp that. The images are in the library (from where I built the gallery), but can’t figure it out from here.

    I think I need to create a Portfolio Item, but why create a Portfolio Item with a Portfolio Grid when I already have the One Page Portfolio with a Portfolio Grid configured awaiting images. Then I think maybe create a Portfolio Item with a Gallery, but that makes no sense either. Still won’t be able to set items per page.

    How do I tell the Portfolio Grid that I have configured within my One Page Portfolio website which images I want shown?

    I’m lost. I need instructions.

    Thank you

    Hi!

    You can use the css border-radius property. Please refer to this link: http://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/b/border-radius/

    Looks how to create the circle object using border radius.

    Hello!

    No, not that I know of. It would be set by the uploaded video file. You could overwrite it with css via something like:

    #top .mejs-poster.mejs-layer {
        background: red;
        background-image: none !important;
    }
    #top .mejs-poster.mejs-layer img {
        display: none;
    }

    Then alter the values to suit. If you need to make it only effect that item you could wrap the video element in a specific custom css class or make it specific to the page. The best solution however would just be to get the image Ismael referenced back online.

    Devin

    Hello!

    The first thing to try is to deactivate all active plugins. Make sure that any dropins like jetpack are disabled as well.

    Log out of WordPress and then back in and try things again. If all works, re-enable your plugins one by one to find the conflict.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hello!

    1.) Deselect the Blog page on Enfold > Theme Options > And where do you want to display the Blog?. Go to Enfold > General Settings > Blog Style > select other style other than Grid Layout. Edit your Blog page, switch to Advance Layout Builder then insert the Blog Post element. Select the Grid Layout as blog style. You will have a Blog page with Grid Layout and still have single posts with featured image.

    2.) IE8 (and lower versions) and Firefox prior to 3.5 does not support media query and safari 3.2 partially support it. there are a couple of techniques available which use JavaScript to add support to these browsers. You might need to hire a freelance developer to modify the theme for you. You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

    .responsive_large .container {
    width: 1210px;
    }

    3.) Can you please give us a link to the product page with the “You might also like” section?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey ronvanbreukelen!

    You could try something like this http://wordpress.org/plugins/auto-post-thumbnail/

    The code is possible but its beyond what we could assist with via support to custom write on the fly to change what the source is of the image, re-size it and then place it for the grid.

    Cheers!
    Devin
