I replaced an image on a page. The update displayed correctly on the website. I logged out of WP admin, and refreshed the website only to see the old image displayed. Numerous logging in and out tests, deleting and replacing the image, all result in the old image displaying when I’m logged out of WP. Next, in WP / Media, I deleted the old image so it would be impossible for the website to show it, then re-saved the page which still shows the correct image. When logged out, the website shows a blank space. It will not show the image that is visible on the page in the admin, unless I’m logged in. Help!

There is a bar across the top of every page with the name of each page on it.

How do I change the background of that bar. Specifically, I’d like to make the background an image that’s faded.

I’m using the Enfold theme and using the “AddThis Share” widget in the sidebar of our site. On some pages clicking the Facebook share icon grabs a photo (not always the first one) and the first block of text. On other pages, it doesn’t grab any text or images from the page. The configuration of the pages using the advanced template layout are very similar. I’m wondering if there is a way to configure a page so the correct image and text can be pulled into the Facebook share post. I’ve tried adding a Featured image on some pages and also tried the excerpts box. Neither of these solved the issue. Any insights would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I have written before, asking for help but you just gave me a link to a tutorial and closed my topic thread.
Believe me, I have tried for weeks to get it working but cannot. So it seems you dont help for customisations.
If you are not willing to assist can you please put me in touch with a developer who is willing to show me how to link a portfolio masonry display to a page instead of a post, all the while keeping the images in a relatively fixed size grid of 2 rows of 4 images all sized 220 x 146.
You seemed to say in previous thread that it was possible to link to a page but I had to use a css.
I have no skills with css in this regard, and the settings in your video tutorial, do not explain how to configure the right settings for my needs, I dont know which drop down fields to select, let alone know what css has to be added.

My request is really quite simple: I want to create a grid with 2 x rows of 4 small images that stay small and do nothing except link to pages, in the fashion that is displayed in the Portfolio Masonry demo,
Each image should not pop up or expand but when mouse hovers, allow for text to show – as per masonry demo, and then it should provide link to internal pages.
Please look at this url http://www.atuawahine.com/wp/ … it is displaying two methods- at the top I have added a masonry gallery and I added 8 images with links to the required 8 pages. however, two things are badly wrong; the images are getting tiled repeating across page and there is no hover text.
Looking at my above URL, the display below the messed up gallery is just a basic 4 columns with images, which I was able to link it to a page. However, it does not show text on mouse over, either, and when I view this site in a mobile, its hopeless because no one will ever know what the image is there for, nor what it links to. We didnt want to split the gallery up with fixed text blocks, we just want the portfolio masonry demo! Is that not possible?

I’m trying to find a way to add a background color behind each blog post when viewing in the grid layout. The effect would be that there would then be tiles for each news item.

If we can’t do the tile effect, Option 2 would be to add a gray border around the images in the grid layout.

At the end of the day, I’m going to have some images with white backgrounds, and I don’t want them to fade into the page background. I want there to be a distinct line showing where the image borders are. Ideally, I would do that with the tile effect, but at the very least, I’d like to add image borders.

Anything you can help me with? Thanks.

hi, I am trying to make a customized team member item, with an image that is linked to another page (with more info and videos), and with links to facebook and linked in underneath the team member name. I found the shortcode but would like the icons to be next to each other centered under the photo. (similar to the bottom boxes here http://thisistouch.com/wp/this-is-old/who-we-are/) I only see an option for “left”, “right” or “center”. Can you help me with this? thanks

In the textblock i put something like that:

I tried it with galeries, but the pictures were not that close to each other. I tried it with a portfolio grid – but where do the pictures come from?
You see…a newbie here on the enfold theme…
