This is a great theme, I just got our second one for another client.
I am having somewhat of a minor issue and was not sure if you had any suggestions on how we could fix this. I have a background image set up in the header and it shows the full name written in a Japanese style font.
However, what happens is when we go into a tablet, mobile or iphone, ipad device the logo sits right on top of the background image with the font. You can see what I mean here: http://bit.ly/1aoJxIM
Hoping someone can give me a suggestion on how to fix this because it is only an issue with the mobile devices, not sure if the logo could somehow be moved up higher or if the header image could be cropped on the right side instead of “centered”.
Hi brijesh1111!
Enfold doesn’t use images for its icons. It uses icon fonts which you can upload your own following this guide: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-your-own-icon-fonts/
Fontello.com also allows you to upload your own svg files to create your own icon fonts but the theme doesn’t support using images for icons so you would need to have a freelance developer customize in the css to hide the icon text and then display your image in its place.
Best regards,
Devin
When hovering over a clickable image, the content under it jumps down by a couple of pixels, is there ay way to stop this? See http://www.oglecarwax.com/products/element-premium/ – watch the black footer bar as you hover over the image.
I’ve checked through the css but I can’t see anything that could be causing this.
Hi dvbmedia!
I’m not sure if that would be possible without a completely custom home page template. Its beyond what we could help with via support so your best route would be to look into a freelance developer from somewhere like Microlancer, Codeable or even http://kriesi.at/contact/customization .
Cheers!

Hi There,
I can’t seem to reopen the old issue, so I’ll repeat it here.
>I have an issue with the Fullwidth Masonry Gallery loading for the first time.
>I have 4 galleries with over 50 images in each… I want them to load in a single go (i.e. all images to come up, so I’ve set the # displayed >to be 100).
>The issue is the first time a page loads (if you clear your browser cache)… the first lot of images load fine, and then if you scroll down, the >images all start loading on top of each other, instead of forming the proper masonry tile…
>If you then refresh the page, the images all load up perfectly…
Josue kindly gave me a fix for this issue and said it would likley be included in upcoming releases of Enfold! However, I’ve updated more than 3 times now, and I need to go back and make this fix every time… could this bug fix please be included in the release!!
Thanks,
J
Hi guys,
On this page:
http://kristencooper.com/ctt/experience/
I have a grid of 1/3 columns with images and text widgets placed inside.
How do I reduce the padding and/or margin between rows of columns. The space between the columns (side to side) is good. I need to tighten up the space between the rows (up and downwards).
Also I have set some CSS for the text on this page as such:
.experiencecaptions {
font-size: 150%; line-height: 125%; text-align: left; color: #b8b8b8;
}
I apply this in the text widget with a span class. These instances of the text are also links.
I want the hover state of the links to change color and have no underline and be red, so I wrote:
.experiencecaptions a:hover{
text-decoration: none; color: #cb2f16;
}
This has no effect while another similar style works elsewhere on another page.
I also tried just:
.experiencecaptions a{
text-decoration: none;
}
also no dice, I’m not overriding something in the cascade even with !important added.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Tony
Hi there,
Right now, there is a pen when I hover over the related post pictures underneath my blog post.
How can I
1. get rid of it
2. display an image of my choice rather than showing a pen?
You are welcome, glad we could help :)
Regards,
Josue
Hi!
Are you using the latest version of Enfold / WordPress?
Cheers!
Josue

Hi,
Is there a way to hide the image name that appears in a yellow box when you hover over an image?
Thank you so much,
Rubie
Hello,
Please try to deactivate all third party plugins to see if it gets fixed.

Josue
Hi,
I wanted to add image from media library directly into the post without shortcode or builder. When I select image and click “Insert” Nothing happens. Each attempt adds following error to browser console:
Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded avia_media.js?ver=3.8:114
If i add image manually it works.
Can you please help me?
Hey Rubie!
That’s the title tag, if you don’t want it to appear, leave that field blank when inserting the image on your pages.
Cheers!
Josue
Hey!
Thanks for all your help.
Is there a way to hide the yellow box with the image name that appears everytime I hover over my images?
Thank you so much,
Rubie
Although I have recently reset it to the stretched layout, because when using a background image for the boxed layout and setting it at center top, it does not actually center at top center.
Why was this discussion closed? I was still trying to fix this issue, and just changed it back to stretched for the time being…

Yes. Unfortunately, the image still does not center at the top…
Sorting of products is automatically done alphabetically. Was wondering if there was a way to sort chronologically – on my site lindapirri.com
on each product detail page, there is a year that each image is created – don’t know if that can be used as a basis? Wanted to always display the newest year first. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks
Yes, that was the reason I contacted support. I tried that. Here is an example…
http://www.setinstone123.com/pool-aprons/
… you see the one portfolio/category (would love to see all the images associated with that category instead), but even if you click on the portfolio you are taken to a page with just the featured image and none of the images associated with that category.
How can I see all the images associated with a category on a page and NOT using AJAX or whatever is being used to show them when you click on one of the categories from http://www.setinstone123.com/our-work/
Thanks
Yes, I do see that there is one item in each category. I have, for example, Countertops and in that portfolio entry I’ve added 10 images of all the countertops. Are you saying I should have a separate entry for each countertop? I like the way the theme works with when you go to…
http://www.setinstone123.com/our-work/
… and then click one of the portfolio items. It shows you all the images in a gallery for that area/item. I would like to take the gallery that pops-up when you select a category and have that be what’s available when you click on featured projects from the home page.
Now when I click on a featured item from the home page I just see the featured image and can’t click to see all the items of that given category? Can this be configured to show all the photos?
Hi!
Look for:
echo avia_logo(AVIA_BASE_URL.'images/layout/logo.png', false, 'strong');
You could add that into a series of conditionals for your various categories or a new function that checks what the page is and if its a category load a specific image for that category.
Its not a quick customization but shouldn’t take more than 1-2 hours for a developer to write it out.
Regards,
Devin
Hey Cashflow21!
Regular gallery items don’t have an option available for linking the image to anything unfortunately.

Devin
I am trying to upload images in the Enfold theme, but keep receiving the error “The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/01”
I recently moved my wordpress site from one host to the other. I think perhaps that has something to do with it? Do you know how I can fix this to upload to the correct location?
Thank you so much
Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS as well
center a { display: inline!important; }
That should do it
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi!
You can make backgrounds transparent on your website and add a single background image. That “should” work. But that means many many CSS changes. If you really need it, i would suggest you to hire a freelance developer for that kind of customization as it is beyond the scope of support we can provide.
Cheers!
Yigit
Thanks Ismael!
I added the code to the quick CSS but the image hover issue is still happening.
