@Kriesi, thank you for joining in.
@Devin, so I shouldn’t even think about touching the default enfold.css then? Since it gets reset/reformatted whenever I save the theme settings?
If that’s the case, would you suggest to save the custom styling in a different css file?
How about js file? I don’t think the avia editor takes any js file. What’s the best way to add a javascript to a page?
Sorry I asked a lot of questions.
Thanks,
Hey!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling
.sub_menu>ul>li>a { color: white!important; }
Best regards,
Yigit
You can use the Easy Slider which is an option in the Advance Layout Editor. This is exactly what I have done. 2/3 column with slider, 1/3 page for widgets. (ie. Enfold is supplied with two sliders.)

We have a site at jbchunandsons.com that was launched recently.
Please HELP: my developer set up this website for my client and we’ve struggled with a few things.
Cannot figure out how to get the ICONS to go back to the green color – a few days ago they were green which was a good contrast with the Blue … but now it reverted to BLUE…which I did not do (or at least on purpose). I can’t figure out why this happened or where to go to fix it. My developer is really FRUSTRATED with the Enfold theme and doesn’t have time to address this problem today or anytime soon….
PLEASE can someone tell me where to go within the theme settings to make it go back to a contrasting color. The TITLES (in the section below the Feature boxes)— “Who We Are” section middle of the Home Page – randomly disappeared. They were YELLOW now appear in green?
I have a very unhappy client …. PLEASE HELP!
Hi!
Yes, if visitors use breadcrumbs for navigating Frontpage Article page will be displayed as you choose in Enfold theme options. I do not think there is any other way to have grid layout in blog page and big preview image in single blog posts
Cheers!

Hi…I’m new at this WordPress thing and it might be completely inane but I’ve seen a couple of themes that have this window shade like thing that can drop down from top of screen & hold widgets etc and then sent back up with a click on something like… ^. I’d really like if it could be added without a lot of trouble.
Btw…I purchased Incarnation first for this church thing that landed in my lap but then purchased Enfold to try with a couple churchy specific plugin. Enfold offers a lot more flexibility and is just beautiful. Thank you.
Hi webWahine!
We’ll need to see the site live and inspect what you have now in an example. You can use http://goo.gl to hide your URL if you need to.

Devin
Hi, as an aditional note:
You can use a tool like http://cssminifier.com/ for that :)

Hi,
It seems like image links are broken. Do you mind installing Enfold once again on a new database?
Regards,
Yigit
Hi oakfurniturehub,
You can set your home page from the main theme options.
For a general how-to on using the theme take a look at this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356
If you have any other questions just start a new topic in the Enfold forums and we’ll address your questions/issues there.

Devin
Devin, you are a star, thanks mate

I want to make the icons (and the background circles) appear larger in the icon boxes. Any code would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mike.

I just updated to Enfold 2.2 and now the logo will display until the entire page has loaded and then it goes white. If you scroll to the bottom and back to the top the logo will show (sometimes) and other times it will appear to flash?

Let me know if there’s something I’ve done.
btw… love this theme and all of the updates you are adding!! Great work!
Hi Guys,
Could you list the file names that were changed in the recent update, so I can do a manual update without replacing everything and wiping custom settings?.
The Theme Update function within the Enfold Theme Settings is not working for me, it just reads ‘ no updates available, everything ok’, when the theme is in fact an older version.
So are the updates good to go with WP 3.6.1 – I feel sorry or you guys, they change the WP version so often, yikes!.
Many thanks
Gary
Hello again,
My previous thread was closed so I will be creating this new one.
The recent update has just been release (september 18th 2013) and I still don’t get the update in wp-admin using Enfold Child Theme.
I have double checked my Themeforest username and also my API – They are both correct.
How come I do not see the update?
Devin,
Thank You! Is there any way to automate this across the site so my client won’t have to deal with the a link class?
Please Advise
Seth
Ok,
you´re right. It must be a conflict with one of my PlugIns. After I deactivate them all, it works.
Topic can be closed..
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Hello Devin
Thanks for the help, I have deleted the CSS folder from the child theme and changed all the permissions to 755 as mentioned. I then saved the style changes and cleared the cache but still no changes.
Also, I don’t know if it is relevant by within the dynamic_avia folder in uploads there is enfold.css, enfold-child.css and index.php.
Also 755 unchecks writing permissions for group and public is this correct?
Thanks :)
Hi Devin,
Thank you for your quick response.
I have deactivated all plug/drop ins
I’m using the latest versions of WP and Enfold.
Chrome and Firefox
W7 64 os
Thanks for any help you can provide.
David
Hi Seth,
You can add noLightbox to your links to prevent the script from grabbing on to them. Eg:
<a class="noLightbox" href="http://www.youtube.com/">Youtube</a>
Regards,
Devin
Hi,
I set the color to blue and the percent-value to 95 or something like this.. I´ve send you the datas for your admin-account. Thanks
What about the settings on the progress bar itself? Can you create a temporary admin account for me so I can take a look live.
You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)
Hi Torlock,
You don’t need to copy over the css folder since you aren’t registering those files in the child theme.
Go to your uploads folder and look for the avia folder that theme has created. Make sure its chmod settings are at least 755 and the files inside of it as well (should be enfold.css).
That is the file the theme writes to when you modify the settings in the style tab.
Regards,
Devin
Any changes to the style options in the theme options and then saving will let the theme re-format that page. Just note that any changes you make to it get lost when the theme re-writes it on saving.
Hello,
On my site http://rerral.com the styles tab doesn’t seem to be working at all. I have been trying to change the alternative color and a few other little bits. I have cleared the cache on both my caching plugin and on browser, tried different computer and mobile devices but still no changes.
I am running Enfold as child theme so there could be an issue there. The set up is:
enfold-child theme as provided by Kriesi on a child theme video.
Then within the child theme I have copied over the style.css (which is still empty), the CSS folder and functions.php.
Not really sure what the problem could be but any help is greatly appreciated, even if it just pointing me to where I can change the style manually.
Thanks :)
Wordpress Installation:
Enfold version: 2.1
WooCommerce Version: 2.0.14
Wordpress Version: 3.6
Hello,
I am having trouble customizing the front page of my WooCommerce installation on my Enfold site. This is the page I am working with: http://198.252.65.103/shop/. Effectively, what I am trying to do is use the Avia Layout Builder to insert some content at the top of the page (as displayed) and then have the WooCommerce layered navigation append below that.
For some reason, the formatting is getting all screwy only when I use a Layout Element within the Avia builder (so 1/1, 2/2, 1/3, etc). If I just place a couple text blocks, the navigation works fine. However, as you can see we want to put some imagery beside our blocks so we need to figure out what we’re doing wrong or if it can be fixed.
Hi,
I didn’t get any email yet.

Josue
This didn’t work.
I placed the above code in the functions.php and my site broke. I had to re-install a new functions.php.
This is the error message was:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_header_setting() in /var/www/vhosts/northeastbarristers.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php on line 7
