    Hey daves1997,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Are you referring to the widget title in the sidebar area? The following css code should adjust the style of the title (h3 element).

    #top .widget h3.widgettitle {
        background-color: transparent;
        color: red !important;
    }

    Please toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings while editing the site.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Fabio,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    We may need to access the dashboard and check the page editor in order to debug the issue properly. Please provide the login details in the private field.

    Please note that the support for the Flashlight theme has already ended and has been removed from Themeforest, but we will still try to check the issue. We recommend upgrading to Enfold, our latest theme with more options and an advanced layout builder.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks, Mike. It looks like anything I add to the page itself ends up way below the code for the popups. I could use the page ID, since that’s in the body, but I’m not sure how @Guenni007 got that class added above the popup code. The page I’m working on is https://abodedev.wpengine.com/about/our-people/. Also, no offense to Guenni, of course, but I do prefer the arrows in the default enfold lightbox — for example, in the lightbox gallery for https://abodedev.wpengine.com/portfolio-item/adams-terrace/ — no one on the Enfold team has put out a way of repurposing this in the way Guenni has?

    Hi Rikard, I have the same problem. Often the layout builder is incomplete though: it doesn’t load the ‘highlighted image’ and several other options on the right hand side.

    The thing is that I’ve built several sites with Enfold, they don’t vary a lot, but this site is the only site which has this issue. I hope you can find and solve the bug, or to provide me with steps how I can tackle this.

    loging credentials for the ftp are provided in private content.

    Hello,

    I had a web developer create my site several years ago and they used the Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme. This developer can no longer be reached, and I have a new developer who needs to upgrade the theme to the latest version, to fix hosting issues.

    How would I get access to the latest files so the upgrade can be performed?

    Cheers,
    Randy

    Sorry, my bad.

    I went to Enfold > Performance:

    CSS File Merging And Compression set to:
    Disable – no CSS file merging and compression

    Javascript File Merging And Compression set to:
    Disable – no Javascript file merging and compression

    THE PAGE IS NOW WORKING!!!! Thank you very much!

    Ah, got it — thanks again. Oh, I meant to ask, is that magnificPopup code being used by some other element in Enfold? Like, when I tweak the position of the arrows in the phone view, am I potentially screwing up the formatting of some other element in Enfold?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Please try to read my reply again:

    Are you running the SiteGround optimiser plugin? If so, then please try to deactivate file compression under Enfold->Performance, to see if that makes any difference. If you should need any further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Maria,

    We update the theme frequently, and I suggest that you try to update it a few times a year at least. If you don’t, unexpected things can happen in terms of compatibility with WordPress for example. You will also miss out on new features. Updates can be set up to appear in the backend of the theme, if you register your license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1362105

    Thank you very much for your answer! OK, I understand the regular license now. Very good!

    My last question is: If there are different versions of Enfold do I have to upgrade from 5.0 (newest version today) to a newer version 6.0 in the future? Or can I use the “version of today” as long as I want to?
    Thank you again for an answer.

    Best regards,
    Maria

    Hi,

    Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.1.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If the updates are not coming through in the theme options, then please try to install and configure this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Hello,
    I want to buy Enfold with Avia builder for one website, but I do not understand the Regular License. If I buy it I can use the support only 6 month. OK. What will happen after the 6 month with my customized Enfold theme in my website? Will it still work? Will I get updates further on? How long do I get updates? Are there updates for the Avia builder included?
    I want to understand the situation after the 6 month period and wether I have to buy a license every 6 month or not.

    Can you please explaine it to me before I do the purchase? Thank you.

    The Content Elements > Masonry module has stopped working for us. It has been working fine for months. Enfold is v5.1.1

    Looking at the code, the elements are there, but the Javascript is not doing its thing (flipping the images and placing them on the page). Instead, there is just a white area where those images are supposed to appear.

    I thought it might be a CSS issue that maybe the images were being hidden via CSS, but I removed, temporarily, all the custom CSS. Purged all the caches. The problem persisted. That custom CSS is back in since it was not the issue.

    I have tried creating a new masonry module that does not work either. My current Band-Aid is to use the Blog Posts module which is working.

    My guess is it is some sort of Javascript issue.

    Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

    Hi

    I recently noticed that 3 of my WordPress websites, all built with the Enfold have lost their favicon. Two of the websites run the latest version of Enfold, I can’t figure out why all three websites lost their favicon around the same time. The websites are:

    Removerr is the only website that has recently changed its favicon as it got a new logo, but the favicon had disappeared prior to the new favicon being added.

    Do you know if there is a bug with google?

    Kind Regards
    Andrew

    Hi,
    I added this css, and it now seems correct:

    #top.single-tribe_events #main h2.tribe-events-single-section-title {
    	font-weight: 700;
    }
    @media only screen and (min-width: 989px){
    #top.tribe-theme-enfold.single-tribe_events #main .tribe-events-meta-group {
        margin-right: 3%;
    }
    }

    please clear your browser cache and check.

    Hi Guys,

    I have encountered an issue with Enfold speed and performance that I would like some input on and some clarification on.

    I normally use the built in Merge and Minify function as part of my optimisation process for Enfold sites. This normally results in a slightly higher score than just minifaction or just using the non-minified files.

    Guidance from various sources are in agreement:
    Best Practice for HTTP1.1 Merge and Minify would be recommended because it reduces the number of requests made from around 50 to about 3.
    Best Practice for HTTP2 is to Minify but not merge files because smaller files can be processed faster and in parallel – Reducing renderblocking resources.

    Minification only is not an option in Enfold but probably should be given the guidance above.

    The example site in the private content is currently failing web vitals on mobiles. They get a lot of traffic from areas of poor signal.

    Script merge and minify on in Enfold CSS and JS
    Script merge on brings the requests down to just 3 and shows a higher web vitals score in lab conditions. I even added critical CSS to stabalise the score but I still see a fail in Web vitals real world data.

    Scores – 95/100 mobile

    Script minify CSS and JS Only only using wp-optimize
    The request count shoots up to 50 but it reduces the size of render blocking files. This should in theory score better. But it actually scores worse in lab testing. Total file requests hits 50.

    Scores – 89 – 93/100 mobile

    Feature request
    Add options to merge and minify for CSS and JS:
    Minify only
    Merge and Minify

    Let me know your thoughts.

    HI Ismael,
    I just checked the media library again and found that the above images still had the correct dimensions until the update to the latest version of Enfold (5 -> 5.1.1). Only from version 5.1.1 the settings of the Customizer are no longer respected.

    Best reagrds

    Hi Ismael,
    So again, under Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images, the image width is set to 300px, without cropping. In the product listing, however, the images are output 450 x 450 with cropping (so they are also generated this way during upload). So it seems that Enfold doesn’t take over the above mentioned settings of the Customizer?! I would be very happy about a goal-oriented answer!

    Thank you and best regards
    Michael

    Hi Rikard,
    thanks for the prompt reply!
    Could you please look at my questions again?
    1. does the current version of Enfold work with PHP 8.1?
    2. can we count on an upgrade being a 1:1 replacement, or is it going to break existing content?
    Maybe that wasn’t very clear: will the site look as before after the update, or do we have to check each page and correct what’s been done inside the Avia pagebuilder?

    Thanks!
    Kind regards,
    Stefan

    Hi!

    @martin_e83
    : Thank you for providing a working solution. Please keep it for now until we figure out the issue. Looks like the theme overrides the woocommerce_get_product_thumbnail function which renders the product thumbnails using woocommerce_thumbnail as the default size. The override is located in the enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php > avia_woocommerce_thumbnail, which uses the shop_catalog as the default thumbnail size. This is why the size of the thumbnail is 450x450px.

    @cd2s
    : Please use the snippet that @Martin provided above to revert the product thumbnail size to default.

    Hi,

    Yes Corina, it sounds just like the same issue I’m having. Have seen others also reporting it today.

    Ismael or someone else at Enfold, I tried to understand why the problem is not consistent but why we get mixed cropped and uncropped images. It looks to me like the cropped version is displayed if a 450×450 version of the image has been generated, otherwise the image is displayed uncropped.

    I wrote a short snippet of code that works for me:

    add_filter( 'avf_wc_before_shop_loop_item_title_img_size', 'temp_thumbnail_size_fix', 10, 1 );

    function temp_thumbnail_size_fix( $thumbnail_size ) {
        return 'woocommerce_thumbnail';
    }

    But there is apparently a bug in Enfold when it comes to using the settings from Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images so please let a developer have a look at this.
