So I just updated Enfold to the newest version. I have 2 pages that were both set up with the layout editor exactly the same. Still the positions of the headline are different after the update. See here:

This is not the default behavior from a fresh install. If its not an issue with a plugin, my guess would be a function or modification to the theme files.
If we can see the site live we might be able to see where or what is causing it but by default that shouldn’t be happening.

I believe this is actually on purpose. If you look at the way default WooCommerce pages are shown, the product title is right next to the image. If we also added it into the header (as we used to with older themes) there are a lot of complaints for SEO issues.
So in this case, the individual product page does not have the product title where the page title typically is in the breadcrumb area to prevent you from having a negative SEO effect.

Sorry for the stupid sounding question, but I’m really stuck. in my quest of porting a rather large existing site to enfold I encountered a problem:
My existing site’s content is separated in various categories, each with it’s own category-{slug}.php. I want to keep it that way and I also like the look of enfold’s default blog-Style. (The one that is set with “And where do you want to display the Blog?”)I want to create a number of those category-{slug}.php files and edit each one of them to my needs, but I cannot find the code for the blog view.
So my question is this: where can I find the code for that so I may use it in a category-{slug}.php file?Thanks,

I’m not sure about the translation differences but I can at least shine some light on what the blog page does. With WordPress in general you are always loading up the posts feed (index.php). You can designate a specific page to be shown as the home page instead and then also choose a blog page.
When you choose a blog page, the page ignores any content you add to that page and just uses the page name to load in the blog posts based on the theme. For Enfold, you choose the default blog layout from the general settings.
When you use the blog element on a page, you aren’t actually telling WordPress that the page is your blog at all. Instead, you are just making a custom database query to output some posts using the parameters you set in that elements choices.
So with WPML, you may need to use the blog choice instead of adding your blog output into a regular page to get it all to work.

have some issues with fixed background picture inside color sections on iOS devices (iOS6 and iOS7) and it seems that it don´t work right on Galaxy 4, too. (A friend told me this with Galaxy, haven´t see it by myself)

A couple things you can also try: First, deactivate any plugins you have running on the install. Specifically any that effect the admin dashboard. Second is to try a different browser in case there is a browser add on, local cache or something like that.

Topic: Icon box, post categories
Hello there!
I just purchased enfold theme and i am very happy so far!Is there a way to change the icon in the icon box shortcode? I mean to use any custom icon.
And another question, in my blog page (masonry), the blog posts doesnt seem to filter when i click on the different categories.
For example i have 10 posts in my blog page, that all belong to 3 different categories (videos, articles, photos).
But when i click on a category the filter does not work.
All my posts belong to one of these 3 categories.
I have also checked all 3 categories in the properties of the fullwidth masonry in the layout editor.What i am doing wrong??

I went to appearance then editor and found functions-enfold.php i added the code but it doesn’t work. I went to take the code out just in case it breaks anything but it has now disappeared. Have I done this wrong please help.

I’ve upraded to the latest version of the theme (Enfold) and also upgraded WP to 3.7.1. Now in widgets (Apperence => Widgets) I can´t drag n’drop widget-blocks to the different widget-boxes (ex Footer Column 1, etc). When I look in the console in Chome, I get this:
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘send’ of undefined” (mf_admin.js?ver=3.7.1:262)
Could it be a plugin that interfere after the upgrade? Or is it a WP Core thing?

Hey!
Yes, you can use the “blank template” which hides the menu and footer areas. Or you can hide the menu with the “conditional menu” option. It helps you to show/hide certain menu items on certain pages. See: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-conditional-menu/

I FOUND IT!!!
The fault was ALL MINE. The version upgrade fixed the buttons and now I fixed my thinking :) All is well. Apologies fo my error.
I have to say that I was REALLY IMPRESSED that Kriesi released the WP Layerslider update within 24 hours. It’s the HIGH standard of the support team that make the products such a pleasure to use.
