    I deactivated all my plugins and that didn’t seem to fix it — maybe something built into the Enfold theme? Anyway, I’m not too worried about it, if you want to drop it. Thanks, anyway.

    +1 for the social sharing. I do not like to use the built in sharethis code for Woocommerce, and would like to see social sharing built in the theme for Woocommerce, and for the blogs or pages too.

    Hey Kriesi folk,

    I love the enfold WP template but I’m running into some trouble here.

    In the site I used enfold in, http://girlfriendsconf.com, I think everything looks great for the desktop version. My only issue now is looking at the mobile version, I’ve run into seeing these black bars. They don’t appear on the desktop version of the site. Even when I adjust the width of my browser to make the mobile version show up, the black bars don’t appear. But when I look at it from my iPhone, there are the bars. Just so you can see for yourself, the bars appear on the following pages

    girlfriendsconf.com/media/ [ it occurs right under the Apple and Andriod buttons]

    Its hard for me to view the CSS for mobile. I have no clue why its doing this even after viewing the CSS. Please help me. This website is launching this week.

    I would agree with prowebseo that built in social sharing is a missing key component. More social sharing options are always good.

    – It would also be nice if the Icons in the icon box and icon lists were click able. Everyone tries to click on them instead of the text links.

    – Having the icon boxes lines up with each other on a page where there are several in a row would help.

    Hello,

    I was using Gravity Forms and when I’ve tried to show a form using the Multi Select Standard Field with a Large Field Size, the box around the options is staying small. If I use the Preview option in GF, all the fields are Large.

    I’ve done a clean test install to isolate the problem. It is published here: http://stg.tornatequemtues.com/?page_id=9

    I’m running with all the latest versions: wp 3.7.1, gf 1.7.11, enfold 2.4.2.

    Could you please take a look on it? Is this something that can be fixed with some css workaround on enfold?

    I am using the “One Page Portfolio”.

    I have a gallery that I want to paginate. It is currently a thumbnail lightbox with 4 columns, 20 rows; a total of 80 images.

    I would like to limit it to 4 columns, 3 rows; a total of 12 visible thumbnails with pages and the ability to view all images if selected.

    I attempted to use a WP plugin (Paginated Effects Gallery). It seemed simple – install, activate and place [peg] on the page that needs the gallery to be paginated. I placed the code in the Theme Options > Styling > Quick CSS section, but it didn’t work.

    Do you have a plugin that you would suggest using or can you advise on how to change the CSS code to accommodate the pagination of a gallery?

    How can I set the sidebar that I want?

    I got the same problem, that the theme mixes Swedish and German textstring (updated Enfold theme today). I guess it’s better for most swedes to mix swedish and english instead of swedish/german…

    Anyways, I translated all german strings to swedish in the sv_SE.po file if you want to include it in your theme or if anyone else wants to use it.

    Hey,

    I know, Buddypress is a third-party plugin and you don´t support it. But I hope it is ok to ask you this question.

    I´ve installed it an it looks fine, but do you know how to setup something like the sidebar?

    For example: The self-created register page. If I open the page in backend and deactivate the sidebar, the sidebar is still to see. It is also impossible to change the sidebar with another one. You can set it in the page-options, but it don´t work.
    The same if I change the Template. After I set the Template to fullscreen, without header, without footer, it´s still the same…

    The documentation from buddyPress and bbPress is not so great. Do you know a source where I can read helpful stuff about them both? A website, a good book that goes into deep and that I have to buy..?

    In creating a gallery with mixed portrait and landscape proportion images, I find that the thumbnails size awkwardly (though only in height), breaking the neat grid structure – sometimes even leaving complete gaps within the thumbnail grid.

    Is it possible to force the thumbnails to display at a fixed height so that the grid structure stays together?

    I was able to create the masonry blog in a new post, but I’m trying to use the page that is currently labelled “Blog,” and when I add the fullwidth masonry element in it, its format doesn’t change.

    Is there a way that I can alter this page to handle masonry?

    I’m not terribly database-savvy, but I know in the past, even if I delete a page, WordPress often acts weird when I try to create a page that has the same URL as the past page (often giving it a number, like blog2), so I’d like to be able to alter the present /blog page to handle masonry, if possible.

    There are a number of programs that have comparison tools which could help for sure. I’m not sure they would help in this case because the number of changes we’ve made since 1.6 is just huge. The html5 update changed almost every single front end template and on top of that the structure of many of the files were re-done as well.

    So comparing X 1.6 to X 2.4 would almost be apples to oranges in many cases.

    Greetings!

    I have an Enfold theme in my account labelled 2.4.1, but it doesn’t have the masonry blog option in it. But the theme also doesn’t prompt me for an update to gain these features (the dummy data never included the pages, and the blog options in the pop-up do not list a masonry format). Is there a way I can go about fixing this?

    Hey RicardoSuarez!

    The background is caused by you adding that item inside a pre wrapper. That should be used for code or raw text you want to display without any reformatting. Not shortcodes.

    I don’t know where the gray border is coming from but I believe its the way WooCommerce outputs some shortcodes and isn’t from the theme.
