SInce my post/ request for help was the only one not answered from 2 days ago…I figure it may have been an oversight…although I may think otherwise.
My Enfold themed wordpress sites x 2 has slowed down immensely since installing. It takes anywhere from 12 to 63 seconds to load one page. I checked with my provider and they did all they could to no avail. The issue may they say is coming from the theme. My website slowed down after installing theme. I deleted all unused files, pages, and plugins…no change. Two sites:

Hi,
Yes, Enfold’s file compression is recommended by default.
But if you are using a caching plugin that in minifying css & js or a plugin like Autoptimize you may find that these plugins are minifying minified files and causing errors, if so try only using the plugin or the theme option.
If you are actively building your site and making a lot of changes daily, I recommend not using a caching plugin or the theme options so you can easily view your changes without needing to clear your cache. A good rule of thumb is to build your site first, then work on the optimization of it (speed & caching).
I believe your question is related to Ismael’s comment about toggling the File Compression to clear the theme cache, I believe he was suggesting this because often if this is enabled toggling will help.Best regards,

I have a question:

the header on mobile screen is shown with 2 white ‘stripes’ (1 above the header and 1 under the header). On desktop screen it’s perfect (black) like I want it.

Hi Mike, the issue with the jumping header is with the mobile version, but when the fixed header is enabled for desktop, only. Since I have it also enabled for mobile, there’s nothing to see at the moment.
My logo uses all the space there is on my phone. So no issue here.
However, I’d really like to know, if Enfold’s file compression is recommended by default.

My current PHP version is 8.1 FastCGI. I tried to downgrade to the earliest version that my hosting provider allows which is 7.1 FastCGI and it didn’t help.
My current Enfold Theme Version Number is 4.8.3
My WP version is 6.0.2I have checked several other tickets that were created on this topic and I want to prevent some questions:
– Did you try to turn off and on your plugins – yes
– Are you sure that the problem is in the theme – yes (because when I put another theme everything works. When I change to the WP Classic Editor everything works as well.
– Are your theme and WP updated – yes
– Is it a critical error – yesPlease, help me :)

I am not sure where I need to enter the token key. When I log in to Envato there is no option for Enfold > Theme Update > Enter a valid Envato private token.
I am confident that I did not need to purchase another licence as I just purchased it in march :(. Now I have two licences, but neither are allowing me to use support.
Can you send me a link to where I can enter the token I was able to get following the instructions?

Thanks for your question, this is the correct link to download the demos and this is our documentation on How to manually import a theme demo.
The problem with OVH hosting is they have disabled the set_time_limit() function on their servers this function is used by WordPress so the import doesn’t time out, this is different than the current PHP run time limit. OVH also sets the Max input time as -1 this should be 180, in the past they have told customers that they will not change this, there is nothing we can do to correct that since it is the server settings causing the issue.
Yesterday an OVH customer in this thread installed the demo on their localhost and then cloned it to their OVH host, which so far seems to be the easiest solution for a OVH hosted site.Best regards,

1. File compression is now turned off on your installation, so I’m not sure if you need more help with this?
2. You have added the H2 element under Enfold->Advanced Styling and set a colour for it, so that styling is overriding the text block settings. You could add inline styling if you want though:

I just did a WordPress update for a customer, and I also wanted to update the Enfold theme.
The current theme version displayed is ENFOLD 4.8.8.1. and it tells me that theme update is not possible, even if I click on “manually check” it is not possible. (see data in the private content)What can I do to update this website to the current Enfold version 5.1.2. can update????

http://www.badrabbitpictures.com…load have increased from .000001seconds to a max today, September 30th 2022, to 63seconds. I contacted my service provider, who increased my memory for wordpress site, and made sure everything was up to date. Unfortunately that did not help.
My media library on both sites carry a minimal file size…I’m talking about 448KB for an image on the main page for instance. Videos are streamed in…and I deleted all my unused, non-enfold plugins. Yet the lag time exists. I have had zero newsletter sign ups since installing and using Enfold theme. I use MailerLite by the way, just in case their code causes issues….and Mailchimp – switched from their service as an answer to the slow down…yet nothing changed. Their code still remains in badrabbitpictures.com.

Topic: Missing demo themes
Hi,
When trying to download and install a demo theme I’ve got the “cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds”.
My provider says that eveything is fine on its side and that is surely that IP (from OVH, see private content) that is blocked by Kriesi.
I’ve tried to download manually the demo at (see private content) but I cannot found the demo called : Agency – Enfold Parallax Demo.Please could you allow the IP that seems to be blocked and/or make Enfold Parallax Demo available for manual download.
