I updated my Enfold theme minutes ago and after going to the home page I noticed the slider was not showing. I went into the admin and could not find the Layer Slider in the WP admin anyplace. I then went to the Home Page edit and clicked my “edit layer slider” link which then opened a new window saying I did not have permissions to access.
????
I LUCKILY saved the old version of my enfold and have since reuploaded it back into the site. These updates never seem to go like they are suppose to. I used FTP to update.
Am I the only person having this issue?

Sorry I could not find an answer on the forum. I am using Enfold 2.9.1. and working looking for an image map solution on this page… http://boston.cjellis.com/planters/.
My image is 1140 pixels wide and has a bunch of corresponding coordinates behind it… Yet, the responsive image feature in Enfold is not allowing my code to work as I had hoped it would.
Can you give me some magic shortcode that will make the width and height of that image absolute?

En este caso lo mas conveniente seria usar el plugin que te mencione.

Topic: LayerSlider 5.2.0
Hi Super Developers, just a simple question is there any plans or any way the theme will upgrade to LayerSlider 5.2.0 or is there a way that we can manually do this. I love Enfold, but it still has LayerSlider 5.1.1 installed unless i missed something can you tell me how to upgrade this from what i can see it will resolve some issues that I have with my LayerSlides :) Thanks so much for you kind reply..

Something weird is happening in my Enfold page. Every time I try to update some content on a page and click on update I loose about half of the content. Enfold deletes a lot of my elements on my page.. I have tried many things but it is a problem that begins to appear a lot now. What is wrong? I have Theme Version Number: 2.9.1
Now it works… but I had to edit functions-enfold.php file, not functions.php .

In fact I’ve replaced the whole folder with the downloaded.
Are there any more files to overwrite besides the enfold folder located in webroot/wordpress./wp-content/themes ?Thanks

What error did you get? make sure you are using the latest version of Enfold and put the custom code at the very end of the functions.php file.

Thanks a lot, the SHOP page was the only one I didn’t checked, otherwise I changed the sidebar settings in all possible combinations. I’m just a plant person :) but Enfold is such a great theme, it’s amazing what I can do, although I have no idea what I’m doing most times.

It should have worked. Please make sure to overwrite all the theme files. If you have made any changes on theme files, please use child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/create-a-child-theme/

My bad! thanks for that.
I replaced the enfold folder with the version i’ve downloaded using the godaddy’s file manager of (which should have the same result as using the FTP) but still shows 2.6.3.
Did I miss something? Any idea if anything else needs to be changed?

I did just that and JetPack fired up with no problem:

Jetpack is now active. Browse through each Jetpack feature below. Visit the settings page to activate/deactivate features.When I switched back to Enfold Child theme, I didn’t get any other error. So just switching to Twenty Fourteen and back to Enfold seemed to solve that issue.

Hello guys!
I´ve already said that, but man, everyday I use enfold I get more and more excited about it. You are right, it is the last theme I will ever buy.
I was wondering if I could do that smooth scroll down effect when clicking a menu item, like many single page themes have, instead of opening a new page.
Haven´t quite figured that out yet.

YigitI use Enfold on two sites, and I have confirmed that this problem affects both sites, both on different hosting. When I upload a .png file into the featured image slot, I get an HTTP error and the upload does not go through. If I refresh the page, the upload did in fact happen, and the document is in my media library. If I attach it as a featured image, it does not display in the post edit backend. It does not show in the front end single view. It DOES show in the blog roll. It also does show in the backend post list.
On the post edit backend where the featured image should be there is one period. If i right-click inspect element, this is the code:
