    Hi Pedolin!

    I noticed that if you change the permalink structure in your backend at settings->permalinks to something like “month+name” the redirect of the latest blog post does not happen.
    I also checked with Enfold disabled and default theme enabled: https://www.schweizer-rechtsanwalt.com/anwalt-kreuzlingen/ always redirects to the front page. Not sure why exactly that happens, but since it happens with Enfold disabled as well it might be either caused by another plugin or you got a post, category or something else with this page slug…

    As for the problem with the menu: maybe this is caused by the menu size limit of your server. Here is a detailed description with a few solutions on how this can be resolved. Let me know if that helps: http://sevenspark.com/wordpress/menu-item-limit

    Hi,

    I have just installed the latest version of nexgen pro and followed the guild How to use NextGen Gallery with Enfold and other Kriesi themes.

    It seem to work just abit, when you show the images in the lightbox pro the right hand arrow is missing and the exit cross is also missing, if you click on full screen everything is there.

    I prefer to wait as I am always afraid of modifying these types of files. A little css goes a long way with me but I truly appreciate it. I will replace the special heading with:

    <h2 style=”color: #fff;”>text</h2> as I already did on the other pages where I need the color to be custom, Otherwise, the advanced styling works perfect for this site.

    I can revert them back when the code is updated.

    Thanks again and great work!! I am about to have another client go with Enfold and this makes 4!!! (and with myself it makes 5)

    Quick question: so far each one of them has purchased the code on their own but this last client is asking me to do it for them. Do I just purchase it twice to get a new license?

    I know that users are not supposed to get to this directory, but if someone is trying to find weaknesses and they know I’m using WordPress, they might try to access this directory. Is there a way to display a custom error when this is attempted? Thanks

    Good afternoon,

    we are trying to locate the file where the string “Warenkorb Zwischensumme” used by Woocommerce gets translated.

    All possible options in woocommerce and related extensions .po files have been adapted from “Warenkorb Zwischensumme” to “Zwischensumme”.

    Nevertheless, in http://www.members.diplomatic-council.org/portal/ (password “Hang”) you still get the “Warenkorb Zwischensumme” when ordering a membership.

    Is there any place in the Enfold theme where this string is translated and maybe overwrites the woocommerce string?

    Thanks for any hints into the proper direction.

    Thanks for checking. The problem comes and goes…

    I’m developing the site without plugins because I want a clean version before I start adding things. The only ones I currently have are Akismet, Clean Talk anti spam and Awesome Weather, which I added just a couple of days ago well after the problem occurred.

    The site is on https, hosted with Namecheap, I asked them why it’s so slow and they suggest I use Cloudflare and WP Total Cache. I’ve never tried Cloudflare before and am a little worried about WP Total Cache because of its settings which may cause issue with the site…
    Do you have any recommendation?

    If you notice, the site uses lots of elements on each page. Could that be a cause of the slow load time?

    I’m really happy with the results coming through Enfold. The site I’m currently working on may be the best and most comeplling site I ever created. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make it load faster too.

    I noticed that the fullscreen slider take a lot of time to load, regardless of the fact that I super compressed the images. Is there a way to make them load faster?

    I love the Enfold theme.

    Except for: Logo management and layout is absolutely maddening. I never ever get the results I want no matter what options I chose. Enfold’s logo management has a mind of its own!

    I tried a centered logo layout. I have an png file for the logo that is 949×93 that I installed. The logo options are:
    Logo Centered, Menu below
    Header size: Large
    Display title and breadcrumbs
    Unchecked Sticky Header and Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window.

    The result: Huge gap between the logo and the menu bar below it.

    Why does it do this? To me it’s a bug. How do I fix it? Thanks!

    Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.0.1 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
    You are currently using an older version which is not compatible with WordPress 4.0. Updating the theme should solve the issue

    Blog Post Author, Blog Post Comment Count, Blog Post Category, Blog Post Allowed HTML Tags, but they still appear on the posts ¿?

    You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
    You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
    then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

    Hi I’m Dave,

    I made a site within an empty domain I own, now I finally want to publish it in its final destiny (another domain!).
    I copied all files to the new server (Duplicator), I made an MySql backup with: ‘WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO‘…

    But to my surprise the site doesn’t work, repeated everything 5 times in diferent ways, updating everything first, etc…
    No Way…. Only blank pages…..
    Somebody advised me to change the ‘Enfold’ foldername to ‘Enfold_old’ and then I discovered that the site works, but with the standard theme…

    I tried everything, there’s no way to make it work.., everytime I activate the theme the site blanks…., is there a way to reset the theme? wich are the tables to alter so I can install the theme again?

    I installed the plugin, added Hebrew to the Enfold theme as it wasn’t loaded and re-scanned it but when I go inside it shows that all strings are not translated and Enfold is already mostly translated to Hebrew (I think thanks to the WPML plugin I use).

    Will this new plugin overwrite all the existing translations?

    Sorry, the code is working. It’s just that the characters > in the code were displayed as follow when I got your follow-up reply via email : > …so now the CSS code is working fine with >.

    Under Enfold theme options > Header > Transparency options, it only changes the color of the magnifying glass (search function) and the color of the social icons, but not the color of the page links (set as purple right now). Any idea what I could do about it?

    As per the title, am a newbie to this great theme – and my first request for help. I’ve managed to familiarise myself with most of the effects but I’m trying to figure out how to achieve the following effects that I’ve seen on others websites (using Enfold). Can someone just tell me briefly how each effect was achieved and whether any of them need additional manual code (in other words, not achievable by default settings) – would be most appreciated as Ive hit a roadblock trying every combination of default settings!     we are trying to implement adaptive images to our Enfold but it has an Issue with resizing full-screen pictures, in the advanced layer slider they don’t display full screen, do you have a clue or proposal what needs to be done to fix the issue?

    Do you have any kind of experiences with similar well working features to speed up the site-performance through
    such an automated resampling of images?

    How would I achieve a full-width effect on an image from within a given page?

    Hi Kriesi Team,

    wir benutzen nun schon seit einiger Zeit mit Freude EnFold.

    Jetzt ist es so das wir um die Performance zu verbessern ein Caching Plugin verwenden wollen.
    In der in eurem Forum veröffentlichen Liste von Empfehlungen für geeignete Plugins die Dude verfasst hat
    ist W3 Total Cache angeführt, dieses lässt sich jedoch in unserer Webumgebung nicht einrichten ohne
    das es die Site zerlegt.

    In unserer aktuellen Installation mit den Versionen WP 3.8.4 und Enfold 2.7
    lässt die Plugininstallation sogar einfach nur die Site abstürzen und man muss die SIte wiederherstellen.

    Wenn wir das Plugin im Umfeld von WordPress 4.0 und EnFold 3.0.1 einrichten werden verschiedene Elemente des Layouts
    teilweise umformatiert und wie von Geisterhand verändert und fehlerhaft dargestellt.

    Was ist eure Empfehlung was man mit dieser Ausgangslage tun kann?
    Da wir definitiv ein Caching in der Site benötigen um die Performance zu verbessern wäre eine Empfehlung wirklich wichtig.

    Hallo,
    ich habe Enfold in XAMPP auf meinem Rechner laufen und verwende den Layer Slider auf statischen Inhaltsseiten. Bis zum letzten Update gab es keinerlei Probleme. Seither wird jedoch der Layer Slider nicht mehr angezeigt. Ich habe leider keine Fehlermeldung und ehrlich gesagt, zu wenig Erfahrung, um selbst damit klar zu kommen.
