    Topic: Instagram & Facebook links in posts not auto generating original posts

    Hello, I just found my way to the Enfold Forum after 4 years.

    My issues are;

    1. Before now, when I paste links to social media posts on my blog, it automatically generates the original post (this includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube links), For so long I realized, Instagram post links and Facebook post links no longer autogenerate the original posts on my website. But when I post Twitter and YouTube links, It generate the post. Please help.

    2. On my blog layout, the separators separating the lists of my posts/titles are too far from the title. How can I get it closer?

    3. When I publish my posts and I decide to view the post, sometimes, all I will see is just the footer, the post (Content) wont show until I update the post. How do I solve this permanently?

    I will really appreciate helps rendered to the issues I’m facing.

    Topic: Problem to change title h1 to P in slider

    Hi,

    I already make this is a previous version of the theme. Thank you for your help in my previous topic.

    I am able to change almost of sliders in different languages but if failed in one of them with the latest version of Enfold.

    In English slider I can change H tag to P without problem in Easy Slider – Content- Advanced – Heading tag.

    But in French home page there is no Heading Tag Properties at all in Easy Slider – Content – Advanced

    How can I change it also in French home page?

    I am trying to achieve a look like this:

    Basically I want a slider with three boxes that are just over the slider near the bottom. I would want those boxes to be highlighted once someone mouses over them.

    Hey Restel-Vietz,
    Thanks for the link to your page, but the 6 buttons look like they are in a LayerSlider so I don’t know if there is a way to do that in the LayerSlider.
    But if you want 6 buttons on the left reveal different text in the same space on the right try using the tab element and choose the Tab Position to the side

    You can make the tabs look a little more like buttons with this css:

    Glad this helped, I don’t use the Flying Scripts plugin so I don’t know. To exclude elements go to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Website Performance And Optimization ▸ Disabling Of Template Builder Elements and choose your elements under Manually manage loaded elements

    #1 to move the woo product sidebar from under the product to a classic sidebar position please follow this thread.
    #2 I couldn’t add the page you linked to because this is an automatically created page, not an ALB page. It is the woocommerce shop page on your site it is ▸ https://sandbox.akhurst.com/shop/
    you will notice the message at the top of the page: the default WooCommerce Shop Overview and therefore does not support the Enfold advanced layout editor

    I don’t see a sidebar on the example page that you linked to, but you can create a ALB product page and add an image and use the product purchase button

    the next section would have a simple button to a category archive page with a couple of images and linkes to different categories

    @mike totally forgot that I could do that thank you for getting back to me so soon!

    I’ll go through the list and see if I can resolve the issue with shortcodes.js

    I have a feeling that since the turn off animations on mobile devices was added as an option in Enfold > Performance – That this might be the cause of the issues I have encountered with the WP-Rocket official Enfold exclusions list. The instructions for Enfold have not changed for some time now and when I checked the line of code in shortcodes.js causing the issue it related to turning off mobile animcations.

    Once I’ve done some testing I’ll update the ticket.

    Thanks for your question, I don’t see that we have a documented list of all frontend CSS & JS files, but I created this list by disabling CSS & JS Merging And Compression and setting Template Builder Elements to Always load all elements in Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Website Performance And Optimization and then checked my demo site frontend source code.
    This gave me 121 items, including the LayerSlider and some WordPress items.

    Hi guys,

    I am working on producing some revised settings for WP-Rocket (which I am happy to share on the forum).

    The Official list of exclusions for Enfold can be found here but I have recently discovered that they do not work on some of the sites I run.
    (I get an error on sites that use ALB Icon box or ALB Icons /enfold/js/shortcodes.js)

    So that I can play around with the exclusions list:
    Is it possible to get a full list of all front end CSS files
    and
    a full list of all frontend JS files.
    (Files used unmerged but minifiedin both Enfold and/or set in WP-Rocket)

    The example below is running WP-Rocket but has the maximum exclusion settings for compatibility – JS from delay execution to a point where it isnt really doing a lot.

    Hey navindesigns,
    Thanks for the screenshot and the link to your site, I don’t think the word “duplicated” is correct because none of the items are the same, I assume that you wanted to only show six items in this element, you have the number of columns set correctly:

    but you have the number of items set to 12, if you only want 6 to show please change this:

    Thanks for the feedback, when you create a Advanced Layout Builder post the title is typically added from the Layout admin sidebar with the Title Bar Settings

    the categories are not added automatically thus the Post Metadata element, the Blog Layout ▸ Blog Meta Elements is for the default editor posts.
    You can test this by enabling or disabling the Blog Layout ▸ Blog Meta Elements ▸ Blog Post Date and note how in the default posts the Blog Post Date is shown or not, but in ALB posts the Blog Post Date is not shown unless you use the Post Metadata element, this is the same for the Blog Post Category, Blog Post Comment Count, etc.

    Thank you for your patience, I don’t know about WAI-ARIA Landmarks so I read this article and from what I understand there are only 8 landmarks:
    banner
    complementary
    contentinfo
    form
    main
    navigation
    region
    search
    The main content of your page should be in the main role, this has been applied to the first color section on your page, so to correct it should be moved to the div ID main which is the total main part of the page.
    In your post above you wrote that the timeline H2 elements should have a role, but the article I linked to says that the main content should be grouped together:

    not individual elements in the main section.
    Did you test for WAI-ARIA landmarks on any of your other pages? The ones I checked give the main role to the content in the first color section so all of the other sections are outside the main role and have no role, thus they should also give you an error.
    If this is the case we could ask the Dev Team to evaluate this and move the main role.
    What tool are you using to test the page, is it something we can test with?

    Hi Mike, got it, I learned something new today and it’s only 8:30 am woo hoo. haha. It seems like this is a nice workaround, but I’m 99% sure that these categories just used to show up when in Enfold settings you toggle under :Blog Meta Elements” to display the “blogpost category.” I am noticing that the two I have turned on, blog post date and blog post category don’t display, so why have a setting for that? That’s why I was thinking this might be a bug. Yes I am using a text element to show the title — is there a different way to show the title? I am wondering if I used that if it would display the “blog meta elements” under Enfold settings — > Blog Layout.

    Thank you for the link to the example page, it does look like the Revolution Slider, you could build something similar to this with the LayerSlider, try looking in the LayerSlider demos and import one that you like as a starting point. Go your the LayerSlider dashboard and click Browse Templates

    I believe the easiest solution for you is to create a language selector in the menu by adding custom links like this:

    you can download the flags here, I choose 48px png flag images and uploaded them to my media library:

    But you should try the binding points, as you indicated above.

    By the way, the more-link-arrow is mostly hidden in Enfold – so you could leave it out – whereas I would include the possibility of translating “Read more”.
    Then you don’t need the$label = "Read More"; line
