    Hello dear team,
    I renewed the license for Enfold via https://themeforest.net/ because support is urgently needed.
    After a WordPress update to 6.4.3, pages and posts can no longer be edited.
    Unfortunately, I cannot create a support ticket about the problem in my “Chronus2004” account. Could you please give me additional help?

    Enfold works on local installations, so that is not the problem. Are you seeing any error messages if you inspect the site using the developer tools in your browser?

    You can’t be serious about this, can you?

    Your advice is that every time before I update plugins I deactivate my wp-rocket plugin and also turning off the theme’s file compression settings?

    And then enable them again after updating the plugins? That is no way to update and maintain multiple websites, it is absolutely not workable in the long term!

    It’s not a server problem at all, I think it’s an Enfold problem.

    With the help of wp-rocket support I came to the following solution:

    – Turning off all the theme’s CSS and Javascript File Merging And Compression options under Enfold>Performance
    – Let wp-rocket take care of minimizing css and javascript by enabling these options in wp-rocket.

    That solved the issue.

    However, that leaves the following questions open:

    – Why does the Enfold>Performance>CSS and Javascript File Merging And Compression option suddenly cause this problem? It has worked well for years in combination with wp-rocket!

    – Has Enfold perhaps changed something about the CSS and Javascript File Merging And Compression option in theme options? Maybe Enfold now clears its own cache every time a plugin is updated, and that wasn’t the case before? This seems to me to be the only logical explanation.

    Hi team,

    We have been using the Enfold theme for our multi-site website for a while now, but it lacks responsiveness. I tried adding Bootstrap CDN using wp_enqueue_style() in the function.php file, but it didn’t work. Can you suggest how to integrate Bootstrap into Enfold? If not, what are the alternatives?

    Hi,

    Here I have found that in most cases the selection “Clear Cache”

    This might mean that the latest updates are not being reflected because a cache exists. You might want to deactivate the cache plugin temporarily and disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings while editing the site. You can enable these options again once you’re done editing the site.

    I’m working on a new install of the latest version of Enfold and using all default sizes. Currently all of my headers H1 – H6 are all the same size. I can’t figure out what i’m missing. Any suggestions? I started by building off the “Health Demo” import.

    With the deadline for being compliant with Google Consent Mode v2 nearly here (I think it’s 6th March), please can you confirm if the Enfold cookie/privacy banner will be compliant, or is an alternative CMP required?

    Hello,
    When I try to upload a font Zip, an error pops up: “Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond”.
    There is a php error in the error log.
    Please help us to solve with this issue.

    Hi Ismael,
    I have created a clone with UpdraftPlus and have included the information below.
    Here are the steps I took in reproducing the problem:
    Using Enfold/child theme
    Saved from my calendar as an .xls file
    Edited and converted to a .csv file containing 12 events from April 1 – 3, 2024
    Only included fields event name, start date, end date, start time, end time, venue
    Dates in csv show as m/d/yyyy (4/1/2024)
    Uploaded, preview shows correct dates
    All events uploaded with the start and end dated of January 1, 1970
    Took 15+ minutes

    Imported from CSV-file-for-example.csv
    Include all fields
    10 events, dates ranging from June 16 – September 1, 2022
    Dates show as d-m-yyyy in csv
    Dates show as yyyy-mm-dd in preview
    Preview shows correct date
    All events uploaded with start date of January 1, 1970, and correct end date (2022)
    Took less than a minute

    Moved all of the above events to trash
    Switched to Enfold (not child theme)
    Same results as above

    Moved all of the above events to trash
    Switched to Twenty-Twentyfour theme
    Same results as above

    I would say that something is wrong with the way I’ve formatted my csv file. But the file, downloaded directly from The Event Calendar website, does the same thing.

    I even went so far as to download a fresh copy, did not open or edit it, and tried importing those events. And the same thing happened again.

    I have the csv file from the last successful upload. I moved the 5 most recent events to trash. However, it showed 1 event in trash and 4 events in “ignored.” I permanently deleted those 5 events, and then tried importing from the last successful csv file. They imported instantly and correctly, BUT, it created two identical entries for each event.

    Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated. Hopefully it’s some stupid little thing, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what.

    Hallo liebes Kriesi-Team,

    ich bin freiberuflicher Grafiker und arbeite viel mit Templates, hauptsächlich mit OceanWP und Elementor Pro. Allerdings möchte ich probieren meinen Workflow zu vereinfachen und bin sehr neugierig auf euer Theme “Enfold” geworden. Ich würde mcih gerne mehr mit dem Theme beschäftigen, rumspielen und experimentieren, ob ich zu diesem Theme wechsle. Nun meine Frage: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit einen Testzugang oder zeitlich begrenzten Zugang zum Theme zu erhalten, ohne es sofort kaufen zu müssen? Ich freue mich über ein kurzes Feedback, vielen Dank.

    Good Morning!

    I have and for the life of me I can’t figure out this issue. I reverted the version of WordPress, even took off the Enfold theme and used the blog theme and I cannot seem to get it to work. Since non of that works do you have a commenting plugin that you recommend that works great with the theme? They want commenting turned on.

    Update: I just updated a plugin on http://www.einberg.net with the option delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance enabled.

    It made the problem much worse… the whole design of the site was broklen untill I cleared the wp-rocket cache.

    There is a lot of talk about implementing Google Consent Mode v2 before march 6. Is this something that is already taken care of in the Enfold Privacy and Cookie modul? Or is there further actions that has to be taken beyond this?

    The update to 5.6.10 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    Now I just bought the code and want to update the theme, because its not possible anymore to change anything on the website.

    Hello, i have a problem with my contact page. When i try to send a message with computer, it works fine. But when i try with mobile phone, i need to retry twice and it works. I tried with enfold management contact form, and now WP Forms and the same problem appears. Can you help me ? Thanks.
