Yes, it will affect the site, and you may lose the theme options. What you can do is export the theme options in Enfold > Import/Export > Export Theme Settings File, activate a default theme, rename the theme folder, then activate it back. You can then import the theme options back.

However, the better way is to install a child theme instead of renaming the Enfold folder. Please check the documentation below for more info:

IMPORTANT: Make sure to create a site backup or restore point before proceeding with the steps above.

As mentioned above, the theme license doesn’t expire, so you should be able to update the theme. However, you may need to update the theme manually via FTP instead of the dashboard if the installed version doesn’t support automatic updates. Please check the links below for more info:

is this what you mean?
I guess I was confused because you were referencing sub-categories, but I don’t see this in either screenshot.
Why do some of your items have a green & black stripe in the image, and the others do not?

I’m seeing errors in the browser console on the page in question. Please try to deactivate and clear any cache and minification your site might be adding. If that doesn’t help, then please try to temporarily deactivate all plugins. 1. It looks like you have added padding to the cell, please set a different padding to the screen sizes of your choice in the Styling tab in the element options.

2. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

You will need to download the latest installable WP version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New

Thanks for the login, when I check the two pages that you linked to I don’t see any difference

I also note that your screenshot above is from a plugin called Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order, try disabling the plugin an see if this solves the issue. The plugin support lists many issues.
A good place to start is to disable all of your plugins, on my test site with no plugins the product category seems to work correctly.

The code that I added is in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field, and if you reinstall the theme you should remove it to see if the correct icon is showing.
I didn’t see anything else wrong on your site, just this icon not working and I didn’t see any error messages.
