Hey rruss61,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You may need to update the theme manually via S/FTP. Please check the link below for more info:

I have a client who uses a font only available on Adobe. Since I cannot find any way to make the Adobe fonts work on Enfolr, I purchased the license and made a TypeKit fofForr upload as a custom font. The upload gives the following error:
“Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond. Please reload the page, then try again”
All requirements are complied with per the Enfold documentation.
I have tried the TypeKit and a zip file of wolf and wolf2 zipped — as well as other variations.
Client is hosted on a shared server, but it is not this unresponsive.
My questions are these:
1. Is there a workaround to upload this typekit file properly to Enfold in the server file manager?
2. Is there any way to get Adobe Fonts to work in Enfold?
Hi,
Thanks for letting us know. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Jürgen,
Thanks for reaching out to us. There are no demo versions of Enfold, so I’m not sure I fully understand what you mean. If you need to register your theme license, then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Norbert,
Thanks for the login details. The update to 5.7.1 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Also please note that you are running a very old version of WordPress, I would recommend that you update that first of all.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update
Best regards,
Rikard

Hello, I am currently creating a page with enfold. Among other things, I create content with the tab section. Now the following warning has appeared. I do not know why. Please help me here. Thank you
Enclosed is the warning that appears in the backend and frontend:
Warning: Array to string conversion in /home/…../themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/tab_section/tab_section.php on line 747

Dear Customer Service,
We previously purchased the Enfold Child WordPress theme, which we are using on our website uj.hajosprogramok.hu. However, we are currently facing issues with updating our website due to the inability to update the theme.
We are reaching out to inquire if it is possible to obtain a new version of the Enfold Child theme or if there is any solution available to address this issue. Our website has become unusable due to this, and we are hoping to find a resolution that would allow us to update the theme without having to recreate the entire website.
Your prompt assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
Hi,
Glad we were able to help, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for taking care.
As suggested, I deactivated all plugins … no difference on the widgets page.
Next, I switched to original Enfold (all plugins still deactivated) … also no difference.
Any ideas? As mentioned, unfortunately I don’t know which changes were made on class-avia-newsbox.php last year, but the error was gone.
Best regards,
Thomas
P.S. I also re-installed WP 6.5.3 … also not successful

Hi,
Great! Good to know. Going forward, you can add a Custom CSS Class Name to the element and use it to adjust the style of the element specifically.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-custom-css/#enable-custom-css-class-name-support
Please feel free to open another thread if you have more questions about the theme.
Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Try to replace the selector “.home” with “.page-id-362”.
.page-id-362 .av-image-caption-overlay-center p {
border-radius: 3px;
padding: 10px;
font-size: 12px;
text-decoration: none;
display: inline-block;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
margin: 3px 0;
line-height: 1.2em;
position: relative;
font-weight: normal;
text-align: center;
max-width: 100%;
color: var(--enfold-main-color-button-font);
background: var(--enfold-main-color-button-border);
transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
box-shadow: none;
border: 0;
padding: 25px 50px 23px;
font-size: 28px;
min-width: 200px;
}
Please make sure to purge the cache before checking the page.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi MIke
thanks for your help
but….this is exactly what i did!
seems like Enfold gives priority to the Lightbox…and its hard to get rid of that…:) , hard to switch it off…
best regards, Jelle
Hi,
Thank you for the screenshots.
Where can we see this section? Please provide the site URL in the private field. Have you tried adjusting the Alternate Content Background Color value in the Enfold > General Styling > Alternate Content tab?
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Glad Ismael could help, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.

Hi,
the logo is back again.
I added another wdget named “header social icons mobile” in the backend of my page but I don’t know how to add two widgets in the header.
To put the one widget in the header I added some code in the functions.php and in the stylesheet. The code I found on the documentary page of the enfold theme.
Within the private content you find a Link to a Screenshot of the changes you’d like to implement.
Hey!
Added filter ‘avf_accordion_toggle_speed’ to Enfold 6.0.
Cheers!
Günter
Hi,
Thanks for the update. If you only want the CSS to apply to the home page, then you can use this instead:
.home .av-image-caption-overlay-center p {
border-radius: 3px;
padding: 10px;
font-size: 12px;
text-decoration: none;
display: inline-block;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
margin: 3px 0;
line-height: 1.2em;
position: relative;
font-weight: normal;
text-align: center;
max-width: 100%;
color: var(--enfold-main-color-button-font);
background: var(--enfold-main-color-button-border);
transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
box-shadow: none;
border: 0;
padding: 25px 50px 23px;
font-size: 28px;
min-width: 200px;
}
Best regards,
Rikard

Hi Kriesi Team,
I have exact the same error as last November AGAIN ….
Since I don’t know, what Nikko exactly did last November to get the Widgets-page running again, I have to contact you again and ask for help.
Meanwhile version numbers changed to
WordPress version 6.5.3
Active theme: Enfold 5.7.1 child
PHP version 8.1.28
The error message I receive from the website is exactly the same as last November (see post #1425578).
I recently added a new Post Category … maybe it has to do with that?
Hey Monika,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You can use this css code to adjust the style of the caption overlay.
.av-image-caption-overlay-center p {
border-radius: 3px;
padding: 10px;
font-size: 12px;
text-decoration: none;
display: inline-block;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
margin: 3px 0;
line-height: 1.2em;
position: relative;
font-weight: normal;
text-align: center;
max-width: 100%;
color: var(--enfold-main-color-button-font);
background: var(--enfold-main-color-button-border);
transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
box-shadow: none;
border: 0;
padding: 25px 50px 23px;
font-size: 28px;
min-width: 200px;
}
Best regards,
Ismael
Hello Mike,
thanks for your reply and sorry for only responding now.
1) Yes, we had previously used the WP Fastest Cache plugin. I’ll try it out again in a few days.
2) Blog settings: When I do it this way, exactly what we don’t want happens. If you click on a blog category, all articles with full text appear one below the other. See in your demo: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/category/personal/
This is not how it should be, but like this: https://sii-talents.de/category/buecher/
3) I don’t know which plugin this should be. Can I simply delete it in the custom CSS?
to 4) If I do that, ALL buttons are in the selected colors. But only one button should have the “color 1” or “theme subtle color”, which I want to select independently of the “main color > font color for links, text initials and other elements”.
Where is the theme sub-style color generally set? I have never seen this anywhere in all my years of using Enfold.
Best regards,
Susanne
Hi Monika,
Please open a new thread and include a link to your site. Also please try to explain your intentions a bit further.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey craig374,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#text-7 span strong {
font-size: 14px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

by the way – the source site of evidenz.de is an Enfold site too. Maybe you can ask them what you should do to hamper that scrolling.
The script is small enough to not load from their site- download it – make some change to the script and compress it (f.e. on https://jscompress.com/) to have a minified version of it. enqueue that minified script from your own server.

Hi,
Thank you for the info.
The theme should be compatible with PHP 8.0, which is already installed on your server. However, as mentioned above, the PHP ZipArchive Extension is not enabled. You need to ask your hosting provider to enable this option before importing the demo. If that is not possible, you can manually import the demo using the XML files. Please check the link below for more info:
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-manually-import-a-theme-demo
After downloading your preferred demo files, you can also upload them in the Tools > Import > WordPress Importer panel.
Best regards,
Ismael
