    Hello,
    is it possible to create bilingual websites with the Enfold Theme?

    Many thanks for your help.

    this plugin “compatibility with WP Hide & Security Enhancer” The basic principle of the plugin is to change default assets URLs, remove or change specific HTML elements, and disable unused services. This makes WordPress unrecognizable. The process isn’t automated, so it needs to be done manually while getting feedback on the front side to ensure everything is still functional. No file and directory are being changed anywhere, everything is processed on the fly using output buffering and filters..

    have you tested with enfold theme ?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    The uploaded images are a little too big for the page or the slider. The rendered size of the slides is only 911x610px, but the uploaded images are twice the size (2240x1150px), which is too large. Please install an image compression tool and try to upload smaller images, perhaps half the current size. Also, ensure that the Enfold > Performance > Responsive Images and Lazy Loading > Responsive Images option is checked or enabled.

    Hey Monika,
    Your pages look like they are password protected with the plugin Password Protected even logged in I can’t find the password and the pages don’t display the password option, it looks like a conflict, try disabling all password protection and disabling this plugin and see if this helps.

    Hi,

    The colour settings are coming from Enfold->Advanced Styling. If you don’t want those to apply, then you can remove the instances in question.

    Hi,
    Is this a feature of Enfold? If not, may I request it as an enhancement?

    Thank you.

    Hey northorie,
    Thanks for the link to your site, I see that you have a Advanced Layout Builder (ALB) post that has been saved as a WordPress Block Editor post, to correct click the ALB editor button and then save again and edit in the ALB editor.

    Hi Rikard
    The Enfold – General Styling –
    I have put the main headings in the logo and main area to #4169e1
    but they are showing a different colour – rgb(0, 0, 161)
    I don’t know where that css colour rule is coming from?
    Thanks

    Hi Mike, thanks for your message.

    We have disabled Lazy Loading in Enfold Child / Performance, and also turned off WP optimize plugin.
    Yet on our end, loading time of the slider is really slow whilst the rest of the page (text and related projects) loads quite fast.

    I also tested adding the first image of the slider as a single image element to a portfolio item and it also loads fine, yet the slider takes forever to display the first image.

    There is basically a big difference in loading time of the same image if it is placed as and image element or inside the easy slider.

    Any suggestion on how to improve this will be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Nasi

    Hello Rikard

    I added Image, category, etc. to it and it is still saveable without error. Think the problem occurs from Enfold and YOAST on some way. If YOAST is deactivated saving of old products is also possible without error.

    Best Regards Marc

    Hi, I think we are going around in circles here a bit. To clarify, I want to replicate the difference in colour sections of that in the sample landing page https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/pages/landing-page/ Feature A and Feature B. I have also attached another snip of this. So far I have managed to get the colour pretty close by editing the Color Section and adjust the value of the Custom Background Color settings in the Styling > Background colors toggle to #fcfcfc.

    I would like to know how to get that dividing line between the two colours which looks a lot more prominent on your sample landing page. Again shown in the attached image.

    Thanks,

    Hallo zusammen,

    LG,
    Markus

    Hi,
    I notice that you are not using a child theme and have your customization in the parent theme functions.php
    all of these customizations will be lost the next time that you update the theme.
    If you are not going to use a child theme you could use the WP Code plugin then add a new snippet, in the top right corner use the PHP snippet as the code type:
    use wpcode php snippet and activate
    and ensure that it is activated, then save.
    I recommend that you move your customizations so you don’t lose them.
    I changed your Reading time code to this for your last requests:

    function add_reading_time_to_masonry_entry($content, $entry, $config) {
        $reading_time_html = "<div class='reading-time'></br>" . do_shortcode('[rt_reading_time post_id="' . $entry['ID'] . '" label="Lesedauer:" postfix="min" postfix_singular="min"]') . "</div>";
        $content .= $reading_time_html;
        return $content;
    }
    add_filter('avf_masonry_entry_title', 'add_reading_time_to_masonry_entry', 10, 3);

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey YMen45,
    Thank you for the link to your site, the title bar h1.main-title is the correct h1 for the page, but I see that you manually added two more on the page
    Enfold Support 6113
    use the following code at the end of your child theme functions.php file in Appearance ▸ Editor to change the correct one to a “p” tag, and then you can change the two manually added ones to use just one H1 tag.

    function custom_script() { ?>
      <script>
    (function($) {
        function replaceElementTag(targetSelector, newTagString) {
          $(targetSelector).each(function(){
            var newElem = $(newTagString, {html: $(this).html()});
            $.each(this.attributes, function() {
              newElem.attr(this.name, this.value);
            });
            $(this).replaceWith(newElem);
          });
        }
        replaceElementTag('.page-id-4783 h1.main-title.entry-title', '<p></p>');
    }(jQuery));
    </script>
      <?php
    }
    add_action( 'wp_footer', 'custom_script', 99 );

    Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.

    }

    and adjust the font size to suit.

    Hi,
    The Feature A section is #ffffff set here:
    Enfold Support 6107
    the line is #e1e1e1 from enfold-alternate-color-border and is automatic if the color sections don’t have a manually added color:
    Enfold Support 6109
    ignore the other colors in the screenshot as it is not the same demo.

    Best regards,
    Mike
