Topic: where is my theme?
hi, I have one enfold theme with you but I can not see any latest updates or my theme there. Please could you help with that. On my website there is now Enfold implemented in the menu some other faults are seen as well. Thanks for clarification and support.
Hello, I have received a included version of Layerslider WP (which has been upgraede to the 6.6.1 version) with my enfold theme 4.2 release. I want to update the enfold theme to the 5.6.9 release but as soon as I activate the latest release, my layerslider placed above the main menu disappear. And I do not know hot to make it appear again above the main menu. Currently I cannot even retreive where the action should take place to make it appear above the main menu.

I highly doubt that the problem lies with the theme, but you could try to simply upload a fresh copy of the theme via FTP to see if that makes any difference: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#ftp-install

I have had Enfold for many years and I love it.
1) I did buy support and after that you said my license for Enfold ran out in 2021 … Why do I get updates then? I had to renew license to get support.
2) I renewed license but that included support – so now I have double support. I don’t understand what is going on and my account looks like I’ve bought a whole lot of things. I dont’t understand it.You must help so I don’t use a lot of money
3) My original problem is: Suddenly I can not work with Accodions under Enfold. I guess it has happened after
a) My existing Accordions can not be edited. When I click the icon nothing happens.
b) If I try to make a test Accordion based on a template I can not enter new content. The Accordions don’t work anymore.Best regards
Ich hatte jetzt mal auf einer Seite die Sidebar aktiv und auf einer anderen Seite habe ich mir auf der Seite ein benutzerdefiniertes Widget Area reingemacht und dann ein Widget generiert, wo ich ein Navigationsmenü reingeschoben habe. Und dann habe ich natürlich noch ein Extra Menü erstellt, wo ich dann die Seiten der Unterkategorie erstellt habe.
Ja, es gibt Ähnlichkeiten im Code. Im Enfold-Code ist aber z.B. auch widget_nav_hide_child, aber das scheint nicht relevant. Ich weiß nicht, warum beide Menüs so unterschiedlich aussehen.Eigentlich wäre es schon gut, wenn man genau diese Unterkategorie-Funktion mit genau dem Design einfügen könnte.
Ich meine auch, dass ich die Funktion gefunden habe. Unter Theme Optionen -> Sidebar Einstellungen und dann bei “Seitenleiste mit Seiten-Navigation” (Zeige eine Seitenleisten-Navigation für alle verschachtelten Unterseiten eienr Seite automatisch an. Wenn man in der functions-php vielleicht irgendwie ein Shortcode generieren könnte, um diese Funktion immer nutzen zu können, wäre es genau das richtige. Dann könnte ich die Seiten-Navigation einfach per Shortcode einfügen und dann müßte es ja auch Gestaltung passen.
Mir geht es ja in erster Linie darum, dass Navigationsmenü und diese Seiten-Navigation einfach unterschiedlich aussehen.
(Ok, und die Seiten-Navigation hat natürlich auch den Vorteil, dass man da nicht extra ein manuelles Menü erstellen muss, sondern es einfach die Unterkategorien automatisch aus der Hauptkategorie nimmt.)
Also, wenn es da eine Lösung gäbe, wäre ich sehr dankbar.Das “Full width submenu” hatte ich bereits ausprobiert. Ich fand aber, dass die Sidebar und die Full width submenu nicht mehr aussieht. Zumindest nicht, so wie es da designed ist. Also, die Idee mit der Sidebar finde ich schon besser gelöst.

Please try to deactivate file compression and activate the option to delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance, to see if that helps. If not, then please try to temporarily deactivate all plugins to see if that changes anything.

Recently the TABS stopped displaying correcly, all over my site.
Currently, the first tab is shown, with tab title above it, and all other tabs are shown below the tab content.

the first snippet is to have a new widget area – the second snippet is for having your own color styles for that area by enfold options.
Inside the new widget area you can have all widget you like to have.

So wird es wohl sein. Wobei, auf einer Seite bei Layout unter Sidebar Einstellungen nicht “Default Layout” ausgewählt war, sondern auch mal “Sidebar links”. Hatte auch mal auf rechts gestellt und auch da wird das Untermenü mit den Kategorien angezeigt.
Ich frage mich nur, warum dann da Unterkategorien angezeigt werden und wo man das auch einstellen könnte. Den vielleicht will ja jemand über der Sidebar kein Menü mit den Unterkategorien, sondern nur die Widget anzeigen lassen. Also, dachte ich, dass das ja irgendwo zu finden sein muss oder einstellbar sein müsste.
Aber leider nichts.Deswegen wollte ich in jedem Fall mal fragen, ob man das irgendwie anders realisieren kann. Denn das Menü für die Unterkategorien sieht ja von Enfold viel besser aus (auch von der Funkionalität) als dieses Standard-Widget “Navigationsmenü”.
Es wäre super, wenn man entweder irgendwie angeben kann, dass die Elemente für die Sidebar immer oben bleiben sollen oder wenn man das Menü irgendwie anderweitig hinzufügen könnte. Zum Beispiel über einen Shortcode oder so. Das wäre ja dann richtig gut.

ich nutze Euer Theme auf Grundlage von Enfold Construction.
Ich habe die gleiche Seite wie diese hier erstellt:Die Seite ist ja so aufgebaut, dass dort links oben die Sidebar mit Widgets angezeigt werden. Es werden oben automatisch die Unterkateorien und darunter dann die Adresse angezeigt werden. Wie die Sidebar aber generiert wird, kann ich echt nicht sagen.
Denn wenn ich unter Widget nach einem Widget suche, dass Kategorien und ein Textfeld mit der Adresse beinhaltet, kann ich da einfach nicht finden. Ich kann die Einstellungen für die Default Sidebar vielleicht nicht sehen? Und vielleicht hat das auch nichts mit Widget zu tun?
Auf der Seite sieht man jedenfalls links oben die Unterkategorien der Hauptseite.
Und das möchte ich jetzt gerne nochmal selbst realisieren, nur ohne Sidebar.
Ich möchte kurz erklären warum:
Ich möchte auf diese Seite (also, so wie die Demoseite auch aufgebaut ist) ganz unten noch eine Reiter-Sektion einfügen.
Aber sobald ich das ganz unten mache, verschwindet oben die Sidebar mit den Kategorien und dem Widget (Adresse). Ich glaube, dass wenn man die Reiter-Sektion einfügt, dass die Sidebar dann darunter angezeigt werden würde. Deswegen verwendet sie auch oben.
Aber ich möchte ja, dass die Sidebar oben positioniert wird und nicht unter der Reiter Sektion. Ein darunter gibt es ja nicht mehr.
Mit Reiter-Sektion wird die Sidebar und somit auch die Unterkategorien oben also nicht mehr angezeigt.
Und dagegen suche ich eine Lösung.Deswegen habe ich mir überlegt, dass ich ein 1/4 Spalte und eine 3/4 Spalte baue und die seite so nachbaue, dass der obere Teil genauso aussieht. In der 1/4 Spalte wollte ich dann die Default Sidebar mit dem “Benutzerdefinierte Widget Area” einfügen, weil ich dachte, dass ich dann wieder Unterkategorien und Adresse angezeigt bekommen. Aber ich kann Default nicht auswählen.
Nun ist meine Frage.
Wie bekomme ich wieder die Unterkategorien angezeigt? Gibt es dafür ein Widget oder ein Shortcode?Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich oben die Unterkategorien anzeigen kann, aber unten auch noch die Reiter-Sektion.

When I check your H tags & your menu items they all look to be Rift4 is this what you mean?
I see you are using a font plugin that I have not used, I recommend using the theme setting to upload custom fonts Enfold Theme Options ▸ Import/Export ▸ Custom Font Manager and then change the menu font in the theme setting Enfold Theme Options ▸ Advanced Styling ▸ Menu items

Is this a Woocommerce file or custom code for Enfold? If it is the former, it would break on WC update. Can it be added as a snippet instead? Which issue does this fix, the banner images being blank? What about the text under tabs not coming up on page load?? Thanks.

I’ve been using Enfold without any trouble for a while now (great product!) but yesterday I transferred my website to a new URL and while I can actually see the page, I can’t open the dashboard anymore. Being unable to edit anything puts me in a big bind, so I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on how I might fix this issue.Thank you so much and warm regards

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/I would suggest that you try running PHP 8.1 or higher, and the latest version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
