ive updated to latest enfold + latest event plugin but hoempage countdown widget had wrong dates
I did find ‘ fix ‘ on forum search and updated it but noticed that i dont have add new event in admin as i used to and i am unable to edit current events

Where can we see the issue? We can’t find the search bar in the “watersportverhuurbedrijfdearne” site. Maybe a screenshot will help. You may need to ask for additional help from the plugin authors because we don’t provide support for third party plugins, but we’ll try to help as much as we can. Thank you for understanding.

I have installed the plugin you suggested and when I searched for the word history it bought up 3 search results displaying the pages this word is on. In the settings I had ticked the Highlight Search Terms box and would have expected to see the word showing highlighted in a sentence underneath the page name but it doesn’t do that. On the plugin page it says: This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
So I have deactivated it again and have tried to install 3 other plugins but none of them find anything. They were Relevanssi, Ivory Search and Better Search.I’m not sure why none of them find anything. Could please help. Or can you suggest any other search plugin that you guys know will work with Enfold.

I’m running Enfold together with Buddypress. As for the search, I’d need to have member profiles displayed in ajax search results already – and not only on search results page. I tested a couple of search plugins integrating in standard wp search with special option to search for members (e.g. buddypress global search). This works for the search results page. However, no effects at ajax results at navigation search field. How can I manage?

I just read through this thread about not indexing search results.
So in my case, I have three different languages and a custom search. For the moment I did setup my robots.txt like this:
User-agent: * Disallow: /suche/ Disallow: /fr/recherche/ Disallow: /it/cerca/ Disallow: /*?s= Disallow: /fr/*?s= Disallow: /it/*?s=a) Is this a correct and complete solution so Google will not index internal search results from the website itself?
b) Do I additionally need to set the search result pages to noindex and nofollow with the robots meta tag and if yes, how exactly can I achieve that?Thank you very much

I search username and email you shared in our database however your client does not seem to be registered on our support forum. Maybe they tried logging in with their Envato account credentials which would not work.

Hey Kriesi Team,
A few blog issues:
1) How can I remove the Likes on the bottom of the blog pages. The “Show Likes” button is unchecked, but it’s still visible.
2) I want to show the category hierarchy in the sidebar (I have the box checked, but it doesn’t seem to do anything). I have two main categories (Project Type and Stone Type) and I want the subcategories to be indented (and/or highlighted some how) and the main categories to be un-clickable. Is this possible?
3) How do I show most recent posts at the bottom of each blog post?
4) On the main Blog page, I want 2 columns with the date showing. I also want all photos to have square corners (not round).

This works as far as intended, but there is an undesirable behavior. On mouseover, the search box shifts for 15px to the left. The reason for this is an inline style change on mouseover from
… <div style = “opacity: 0; display: none;”> …
to
… <div style = “opacity: 0; display: none; right: 15px;”> …
Why does that happen or what should we do to keep the search box from moving?

We did a support forum search first to see how we can add space to the top of our Logo in the header section. We found this code and it works for the home page:

This is perfect for us, not sure if we used the correct custom style but it looks good.
The issue is the sub pages are not pushing down the rest of the page with the new logo alignment:

We already tried Enfold > Header > Header Size and that does not change anything accept the size of the logo. How do we control the padding / margins above the logo?
Check private content for user login, you can do what you want.
There seems to be something wrong with the website itself. The plugins behave weirdly (only a certain combination works. Searching for a new plugin is often stuck). The Quick CSS on the Enfold menu doesn’t seem to affect the page (when I wrote the first message it was working fine).

The debug mode is not activated and the strange thing is that happens only on the english language.Searching for a similar string on google i can see a bunch of website having the same issue, all with enfold.

Single Post Style: Single post with big preview image (featured image)
Related Entries: Show Thumbnail and post title by default
Blog meta elements: author, date and category are selected

Issues:
1) The excerpt on blog that used to work is now not showing up anymore unless I add it manually. Added it manually to the latest post.
2) The featured image does not show up at the top of the blog post anymore.
3) The title doesn’t show up at the top of the blog post anymore.
4) The date/category/author don’t show up at the top of the blog post anymore.
5) No share links show up at the bottom of the blog post anymore.
6) No related entries show up at the bottom of the blog post anymore.
7) No comment option shows up at the bottom of the blog post anymore.Updates are supposed to make things easier, now it seems that a lot things should be done manually, which is not progress but regress and more time consuming.

P.S.: I don’t know if these following things are related with the issue but I’m gonna share them:
– on the Enfold options whenever I make a change and save it a message says that “something didn’t work. Try again later” but the changes I made are still applied.
– I tried installing WooCommerce Booster and Ajax Search for WooCommerce (both plugins are high-rated) but they both seem to crash the admin part of the website. The public face of the website still works but I can’t access the behind-the-scenes of it all (sorry for the lack of a proper vocabulary, I’m learning as I go) so I had to remove the plugins from the file manager. I then tried to install another trusted plugin (Smush) and that one works, so probably that’s an issue with those two plugins.In reply to: Enfold Demo import

I was told to open a new topic. So here we go:Dear ladies and gentlemen. On tablets and smartphones, images are suddenly no longer displayed correctly in Masonry View. Partly several pictures are displayed on top of each other, partly one picture is displayed several times, partly distorted. This always happens when the page is scrolled.
The phenomenon occurs sometimes fast, sometimes slower (e.g. when you scroll and navigate a bit). Tested with various pads and smartphones. IOS and Android. That makes no difference.
What I tried already (unsuccessfully):
ALL plugins deactivated.
Enfold cache disabled.
Searched and tried solutions in the forum.
changed php Version from 7.2 to 7.1Looking foward for your support.

Lately I see more and more conversations here on board, which only runs on private content. I can still understand that some people don’t want to make a customer project public, but you should be able to describe your concern with e.g. the Kriesi demo pages.
For example: how do I get the meta information hidden here?

I think a lot of new topics could be avoided by using the search function to read over and over again.
My hope is that people can learn from other people’s experiences. Plenty of what I read on board helped me with my own layout or css issues.
just a few words from participant to participantAfter I changed to child theme (which I downloaded from your website) and pressed the button to import the settings from the Enfold parent theme I noticed that three things has has changed to green color:
1) The search box
2) The symbol the comes when I hoover over an article or a picture to open it
3) The underlining of the menu at hooverI want them to be #5ac5e7. How could this change by going to the child theme as long as the settings was imported from the parent theme?

Sorry for the late reply, the blog styles are defined in the \enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\blog\blog.php starting about line 99.
I didn’t find any tutorials or documentation to explain how you could add your own, but perhaps you could model the ones already there.
I assume that you already work with php and javascript, and have your favorite editor, but I would share that the “open folder” option in Visual Studio Code allows you to open all of the theme files at once and then the “find in files” allows you to search all of the files at once. This makes it easier to trace the functions across the files.Best regards,

I’m getting this error in the link below (private content):
Using LayerSlider from a non-standard install location or having a different directory name could lead issues in receiving and installing updates. Commonly, you see this issue when you’re using a theme-included version of LayerSlider. To fix this, please first search for an option to disable/unload the bundled version in your theme, then re-install a fresh copy downloaded from CodeCanyon. Your sliders and settings are stored in the database, re-installing the plugin will not harm them.Can you try to deactivate layerslider that’s bundled with Enfold? since you have the standalone version of Layerslider in plugins.
You can go to Enfold > Layout Builder > Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin > Remove theme plugin files only and keep slides.

I was wondering what I’m missing. I have created a Blog with Main Manuel in the header and a sidebar navigation through Widgets Sidebar Blog.
It all shows perfect on Desktop but the sidebar navigation under the Link “Archive” in the header navigation ist not showing in mobile. I checked all Settings but couldn’t fount the content.
