I have read several support threads regarding dealing with a 403 error in Google Search Console for the following path:
/wp-content/themes/enfold/frameworkThe suggested solution is to add the following to your robots.txt file.
Disallow: /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/My concern with doing that is it goes against advice I have read online about disallowing paths to WordPress folders.
See this article on the subject from February 2017 by Yoast. https://yoast.com/wordpress-robots-txt-example/Is it safe to “Disallow: /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/” or could that affect my google ranking for other pages on my WordPress website?

I would really like to have a ‘search’ option on my landing page. I have tried to work this out – how to do this – but I don’t see any options. Is this possible? If so, how?
Also, I’d like to add a ‘next post’ or ‘read this next’ option at the end of my blog posts. Is this possible in Enfold?

The title says is all. My blog is hosted on a separate domain, but I would love to give my visitors the option to search for data that is on the sub domains right from the main domains landing page.
Google are doing away with their search support so that isn’t a viable option. Can the Enfold theme support this functionality or is there a work around to the challenge?

Hello, I’m curious. Is the ENFOLD structure optimized for search engines? I just created a simple page and the result through the Google website was REASONABLE. Well below the ideal. As I said it’s just a simple main page (www.ondedecorar.com).
And my main site that has 100% text also gave it reasonable. I wonder why? Anything encoding the enfold? Java scripts, CSS …. something strange this result.My site – http://www.milkbrands.com.br

Thanks for contacting us!
1- You would need to integrate Advanced Layout Builder to other theme or re-create those pages/posts. We are planning to release Advanced Layout Builder as a standalone plugin however date is not set yet and it may take a while. Please keep that possibility in mind but do not make your decision purely depending on it :)
2- There are some Enfold users using Thrive Leads plugin. I quickly searched our forum and could not see any thread with any huge issues. Though, you may need to apply custom CSS code. Even though we do not support 3rd party plugins, we do not mind taking a quick look with those CSS corrections :)

I’m using the newest Enfold version 4.2 and the issue still exists. In the mobile menu the closing and the search icon overlap the menu items, if the submenu is opened and I scroll down. Is there a CSS code to fix the icons or to put a background to the icons?

my first assumption was wrong. I checked it again (with empty cache between each step) and I can say:
- it is not a problem of equal start times.
- there is no conflict with other plugins; I have disabled all the others
- it is not an specific enfold-problem; the error occurs also with a wp-standard-theme
So it’s no longer your (enfold support’s) duty. I will search for help in the plugin support areas.
But maybe you have an idea. The problem starts with an event, where the event organizer and the event location are the same – not the same slug, but the content (name, adress, …). Maybe there is the real source of the problem. I will make further tests in this direction.

GünterFor some reason my site can no longer connect to the MailChimp API. I had it set up for quite a while now and haven’t updated any plug ins in the last few weeks but it is giving me an error inside Enfold when I try to connect. Searching online it looks like a few people were maybe having an issue with the Google Maps API and MailChimp API inputs in the theme settings causing conflicts even though they are entered in different screens.
Has been like this for about 10 days, have cleared out all the codes, clear cache, re-entered and nothing is helping. Also switched back to my parent and de-activated other plugins but it didn’t help

I have searched everywhere :)
I need to purchase another Enfold licence and do not want to do this if I cannot find the slider to ensure it is compatible.

There’s seems to be a conflicting css code, try adding this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

I’ve first used the code mentioned above, that was working fine. Adding a page the transparent header ws already selected. So I went searching in functions-enfold.php for glassy and found an ID. Changing this gives me the following code:

We don’t have a specific recommendation for Enfold. I would recommend searching the plugin library for the best rated and reviewed solutions and see if it fits your needs.

in all the years I’ve been using enfold, I’ve normally been able to solve my them issues via digging through the forum (an amazing resource), but this one has me stumped.
I presume it started after the last update, as I hadn’t noticed it prior, but my enfold Masonry Gallery is loading 3 of the same image (triplicates), for every image in a gallery where it’s used. You can only see it when you click a photo and the lightbox shows 3 images in a row (save the first image, as it starts on the second of the 3 for whatever reason).
I noticed today when making a gallery, and so I went back to an older gallery that had previously been fine, and it was also loading in 3 of every image… and I figure out why. I think it might be getting the directions to triplicate via it’s scripts, perhaps, as the short code appears to be correctly calling just the individual ID’s for the photos I selected. When I inspect element, and then search the image file names, they occur 5 times for each image, 3 large and 2 small. it’s taking place within the <div id= av-masonry
Again, the issue only becomes visible once you’re in the lightbox and try going to the next photos..

I’ve disabled and deleted a bunch of older plugins that I thought could have created some overlap in the coding, but nothing has changed.

I have a site that the front page LayerSlider suddenly disappeared this week after upgrading to the latest version of Enfold (4.1.2). I’ve tested on a few different browsers and found that Safari (Mac) and Chrome/Safari (iOS) seem to be working to show the slider fine, but Chrome (Mac, Win10) and Firefox (Mac) are not. I did an ‘inspect element’ and found 3 errors:

If you try to navigate to the font URL you will get a 404 error, could you check that the search path for the font is correct please?

Thank you for using Enfold.
1.) I’m sorry but that’s not possible. The theme is using the default WordPress search function and it can only redirect you to the actual page or post, not to the specific section or tabs. You can try it with a default theme and it’s still not going to work.
2.) Again, the search function can only return the actual page or post that contains a certain keyword. It cannot redirect you to the actual section or tab.

We have researched the forum and tried several functions to add a custom reply email instead of the default host address. Here is an example of one we tried.

Hi there, I have searched and tried multiple different code snippets but just can’t seem to be able to change the colours in the contact form.
