Really need to get a solution for this. I’m having clients who are canceling and requesting refunds because they cannot complete the course. Thanks.
Wanted to see if there was any movement on this issue. Clients are getting antsy.
Thanks!
Yes, resolved. Thanks
Thanks alot Arvish.
We do really enjoy pushing Enfold past the boundaries it is typically used for. Thanks for the latest update. We are working on a sidebar navigation custom site for a client now.
Great work on this! Well designed and well laid out. Two thumbs up
Here is our latest:
We have had someone tell us that the menu/logo area background is black and no navigation is visible. We cannot replicate it and have talked with Enfold support as well who also cannot replicate. If anyone else is having this issue, please let us know so we can try to figure out why this seems to be happening. It has only been one viewer out of 150 or so now, but it would be nice to eliminate any issues.
Let us know what you think.
They are using Chrome on Windows 7 professional.
Just discovered a MUCH easier way to add different font weights. Simply add the code (example below – using Open Sans) from Google Fonts to the ‘Google Analytics Tracking Code’ area which is at the bottom of the main Theme Options page for the Enfold Theme.
<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css family=Open+Sans:300italic,400italic,600italic,700italic,800italic,400,300,600,700,800' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
You can also use this simple method to load Google Fonts onto your site. Enfold shows that lots of Google Fonts are available but Open Sans is really the only one that is installed.
Cheers!
We figured it was already included since it is a font available through the theme already. Is this not the case?
Hey Josue, it is off…go ahead and let me know your findings.
Hey Josue. Are you online right now? Want us to turn it off?

There are several things that we do to help.
Add these plugins (use search in plugins on your site)
Remove query strings from static resources
Use Google Libraries
WP Fastest Cache – Enable all settings except caching for mobileHope this helps.
I added that code to my child theme functions.php and it still doesn’t seem to work… thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
September 10, 2014 at 4:32 pm in reply to: Cannot upload images or access Layout builder after WP 4.0 upgrade #316724I have found that the easiest way is to download the one click child theme plugin, click appearance and you will see the option added. Fill in the info for your child them, click create, and away you go. Next you will have to click the button in the theme editor that says I see you are using a child theme…… This will migrate your css/settings over to the child theme.

September 4, 2014 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Enfold > Portfolio Ajax > Change portfolio grid images on hover #313590Hey Ismael – wanted to let you know we were able to achieve it. PLUS – we love contributing to enfold so here are some tutorials for anyone interested in image switching.
This is a simple way to do a quick image switch. Great for something if you want to show before/after
If you simply want to switch between 2 images somewhere on your site, use the a code block element and add the following:
IMAGE 1 LINK" onmouseover="this.src='IMAGE 2 LINK'" onmouseout="this.src='IMAGE 1 LINK'"/>
If you want to edit your ajax portfolio featured images to switch on hover, do the following:
Step 1: Add the Dynamic Featured Image Plugin This will add a second featured image slot to your portfolio items.
Step 2: Copy the code from here and replace your portfolio.php contents with the code. NOTE: Make sure you create a backup of your old code first!! The affected lines of code are from lines 458 to 491.
Step 3: Add a new portfolio item and add the static image to the SECOND featured image. Add your hover image to the DEFAULT featured image spot.
This will cause the hover image switch. If you want your results to be similar to http://mosaixgroup.com/who-we-are make the following adjustments:
Use the 5 column setting in the ajax portfolio
CSS:
#top .portfolio-preview-image .avia-gallery-thumb img { display: none; } .portfolio-preview-content .avia-arrow { display: none!important; } .portfolio-preview-image { width: 35.6%; } .portfolio-preview-content { padding: 75px 100px 30px; width: 64.4%; background: #fff!important; line-height: 1.8em!important; } .portfolio_preview_container{ box-shadow: none!important; } #top .grid-entry.no_margin.av_one_fifth { padding: 10px; }
Good Luck!
Hey everyone. I figured this place would be the best for searching for a developer interested in taking on some enfold PHP mods for us as they come up. We currently have 2 projects which need back-end work. We are a primarily front end team and need a great back-end coder. You should KNOW ENFOLD! Get excited about php and consider yourself primarily a back-end dev. We are not looking for half-ass developers and we expect deadlines to be met on time.
We have a couple jobs right now that need immediate attention. If you are interested, write to info at zerozendesign dot com.
Please respond with some Enfold work that you have done that had back-end requirements. The first job will be modifying the ajax portfolio to function like the team portfolio found at http://grovemade.com.
Thanks!
(p.s. – support staff, could you guys create a thread for enfold jobs? With such a mix of talent on here, it would be great to be able to call on one another since we all have some knowledge of Enfold)
Hey there Yigit –
Still isn’t good. Looks fine on the computer if I size my screen down, then if I look on mobile……it is still there.
Also need to do the same for tablets.
Thanks again!
Great! The space was reduced, however, now it’s not centered (check out that link again). How can I center the whole group?
Thanks!
Because I was trying to figure out what is controlling the width. Funny enough, that is the only thing I could find that would have an affect.
As for a link…check out https://zerozen.prevue.it/view/gsur5q
Thanks! Work great now.
Hey Yigit –
No dice. Still showing the underline under the date.

August 10, 2014 at 5:04 am in reply to: Enfold > Gallery > Limit image display size/hover effect #302149Hey there Josue,
Tried – no luck. Still showing an issue on hover.
This worked. Great! One more addition. If you change the color of the sidebar, there is still a portion of it between the edge of the site content area and the sidebar that is still applying the background color. How do we go about having the sidebar extend to the edge of the site’s content area on the side where the sidebar is located. For example… if we have a left sidebar, how do we get the sidebar content/color to extend all the way to the left?
Dude – would you mind sending me a screenshot? Thanks!
A simple little single page (almost) site we whipped up with the wonderful world of enfold. Going to be moving nav left and logo on right now that I know the client has one. Explored the WP Paypal Shopping Cart on this project because the client wanted a really simple cart option for paypal. Didn’t want to go with something huge and bulky that would be overbearing for just a few simple products. Also discovered that you can manage shipping rates and taxes directly on Paypal itself. Made it much simpler because we just added a little note that taxes would be applied at checkout. We applied a flat rate shipping option through the plugin and applied a free shipping option too. Plugin made it really easy.
Forms are powered by Gravity Forms – always a go-to for any form. Stay tuned for an intranet site created on enfold powered entirely by Gravity Forms.

@Ria – do you have a website or email address to contact you?
