Thanks for contacting us!

Unfortunately, Newscast theme is not available anymore and since it will not be receiving updates, there is a chance you will experience some issues using the latest versions of WooCommerce and maybe even WordPress.

If you would consider changing your theme to a way more powerful, flexible and user-friendly WordPress theme which is also fully compatible with plugins like WooCommerce, WPML, bbPress etc., we would definitely recommend Enfold. If you are interested, we can gladly share more information :)

Hey Rob,

I added following code to bottom of Quick CSS field
```
@media only screen and (min-width: 1024px) {
 .av-video-slide.slide-1 .mejs-mediaelement {
    opacity: 1;
}}
```
Now it does play the video when you click on play button but it does not autoplay. In the meantime, let us wait to get the feedback from your friend :)

1- You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/color-section-with-100-container/ and add a Color Section element with full container width to your page and place your image inside it. Our devs already fixed the issue with hotspot element and it will be included in upcoming update :)

2- Mentioned theme related glitches would break the layout but would not lock you out. I think issue is related to plugin itself. You can try using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/akismet/.

Your media queries in Enfold theme options > General Styling > Quick CSS field were missing closing curly brackets. I added them. Please review your website :)

Here is a media query example
```
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {

}
```

You are currently using Enfold 4.2. Please update Enfold to the latest version 4.2.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and that should solve the issue as a fix was included in Enfold 4.2.1 :)

I disabled JS optimization in Autoptimize plugin, purged cache and that helped. We are working on improving theme performance as well testing several optimization plugins to find which works the best with Enfold. In the meantime, please keep JS optimization disabled on Autoptimize. Please review your website :)

I believe it was the way your child theme was created, it usually is. Therefore i replaced it with a pre-built one as the first thing and that helped :)
