Please go to Enfold theme options > General Settings and make sure to choose display “Responsive Layout”

You can update the theme if you have not made changes on theme files. If you made styling changes in Custom.css file, please back it up. If they are in Quick CSS section they will remain the same as long as theme names are matching. You should update the theme to make it compatible with the latest version of WordPress – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

You can add a Color Section element to your website with a unique ID and then add four 1/4 column elements inside it then post the link to your website so we can provide you custom CSS code to remove the space between images

Currently there is nothing we can do about how elements stack on mobile. Kriesi mentioned that RTL support will be available on next major update 2.6. I would suggest you to wait for it.
