Hi!

I think you are confusing FontAwesome with Fontello – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-your-own-icon-fonts/
FontAwesome is not loaded on Enfold by default. This will load it so that you can use

As Devin mentioned, Revolution slider works well on Enfold. And no, Enfold would never use Visual Composer instead of Advanced Layout Builder. I am not the one to decide that but i am pretty sure that is what Kriesi would say :)

Would you like to change the font color of Header meta section when scrolled down? If so, please add following code to Quick CSS
```
.phone-info span, .header_color .sub_menu>ul>li>a  { color: red; }
.header-scrolled .phone-info span, .header-scrolled .sub_menu>ul>li>a  { color: green!important; }
```
If you would like to change the color of main menu items, please go to Enfold theme options > Header Layout > Transparency Options
