Please edit your page and make sure that you chose to display no sidebar under Layout section.
If that does not work, please try adding following code to Quick CSS

.home .sidebar { display: none!important; }

You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

It is possible but on smaller screens it would cause some issues so i would personally recommend you socket version :)

If there is no issue on shortcodes.js file when you de-activate the plugin, then updating the file probably will not solve the issue. You can try updating the file and if that does not help, please contact plugin author as they should have better insight on what could be causing the issue
