Yes, we updated and still the same error.
Hi again – yes I deleted the Instagram cache and we tried a transient cleaner which didn’t help.
What can we try next?
We are on VentraIP Australia. It is also happening on some of my freelance sites which are hosted on various other hosts.
Hello, are you also receiving the error message ‘Errors found: Instagram has returned invalid data’ like we are across all our sites?
Ismael, can you please let us know where in wp-content to locate the cached Instagram images?
Hi, thanks for your reply. I appreciate the support but I feel like this is a brush-off answer. If you look at the posts above, you’ll see I mentioned that it is happening across all of our sites, not just this one, including sites that are live, on a dev URL, and in maintenance mode. The issue was occurring even when the site was not in maintenance mode.
Here are a handful of other sites where this is happening.
http://shop.auswebcreative2.com.au/
And many more.
As you see there is nothing in common with these sites, they are all either dev URL or live URL, HTTP or HTTPS, and none are in maintenance mode.
Any ideas?
Sure – sorry about that!
Hi Victoria, thanks for your reply. Yes everything (WP, Enfold, plugins) is up to date.
Any ideas? Is this happening on any other Enfold sites that you know of?
Hi again, further to this I can see in the Enfold shop demo, all these options don’t exist. How did you guys get rid of all these sorting options in your demo?
It’s an Enfold function. WooCommerce support said that all these sorting options were not part of WooCommerce and were being called by ‘something called Avia’ … ie the Enfold framework. On top of this, there are several plugins which can customise the sorting options for WooCommerce, which don’t work if sorting options are hard-coded into the theme – the plugins did not work on Enfold.
I do not see these 10+ sorting options on other themes running WooCommerce.
See for example Bridge: https://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/shop/
And Avada: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/classic-shop/shop-full-width/The sorting options for all these themes are different which means we can conclude they are theme-specific. So in fact it does look like an Enfold-specific function.
Since it is theme-specific, is there a way we can target and hide/customise these sorting options? Either via a plugin or code?
Thanks for the info!
Since these options are built into the theme but require developer customisation, are there any plans to make it editable via the theme options?
Hi, thanks for getting back. The only reason we are expecting it is because it was working before, and also one of your other moderators said it was possible. So what did Yigit mean in this post when he said the transient cleaner would allow the theme to update automatically?
Can you let me know what we’re missing?
Thanks – yes updating is working fine, thanks for checking..
The issue is as per our original post:
“We updated all our sites manually to the new Enfold and Envato API system a few months ago, and all our sites are on Installatron for automatic updates however Enfold does not update automatically.
On some sites we use Transient Cleaner which was meant to make Enfold update, and on some sites the plugin is not present as it is now part of WP core. However no sites are updating either way.”
So, the theme can update when we do it manually. The issue is, it is not updating automatically when there is a new theme update, since changing to Envato’s new API. The sites are on Installatron and automatic theme updates were working on the old API system.
How can we get it working so that Enfold updates automatically? Meaning, without having to go into each site individually and update manually?
Apologies, please try the below.
Please see below.
Thanks. Below is one of our sites as an example.
Thanks for getting back. I’ll wait for a response from Kriesi as well.
Some more info – This transient cleaner plugin was recommended to us by you guys on https://kriesi.at/support/topic/installatron-not-updating-enfold-theme/.
On that ticket part of the reply was ‘Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/’ but the theme was updating automatically before the API change.
Hi, we imported the slider using the zip file however the missing second slide is not there either.
How can we get this second slide?
Thanks!
Hi Victoria or anyone,
I’ve asked the same question twice above about the Enfold Default Demo. Can you please see my replies from April 13, 2019 at 1:39 am and April 15, 2019 at 7:28 am? Still the same question with no reply from you. Can you please assist? I am wanting to know:
We tried a demo import for the Enfold Default Demo. This demo should have 3 home page slider transitions.
We did the demo import, and only the 1st and 3rd slides came across. Is the 2nd slide is missing in the Enfold Default Demo import? If so, how can we download that Layerslider (the one on the Enfold Default Demo home page) separately?
Or, even better, can you please fix the Enfold Demo Import so it includes the 2nd slide transition?
Thanks so much.
KevinHi Victoria,
Hope you had a nice weekend!
Can you please provide the other Enfold Default Demo home slider as per above? Or, how can we get the 2nd slide transition?
Thank you.
Hi Victoria,
Thank you. I have already referenced that help page in detail, however couldn’t find how to customize is as per my explanation.Specifically, how to get the accordion toggle at the bottom of the content area, and then when clicked again from the bottom, it closes.
Thank you.
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for the dropbox link.
Could you please read the additional reply above, April 12, 2019 at 1:59 am, and provide info on how to get the second slide transition Enfold Default Demo which did not come with our demo import?
Thanks.
Hi Rikard,
Similar to our last question, we also tried a demo import for the Enfold Default Demo. As you can see in the link, this demo should have 3 home page slider transitions:
We did the demo import, and only the 1st and 3rd slides came across. Do you if the 2nd slide is missing in the Enfold Default Demo import? If so, how can we download that Layerslider (the one on the Enfold Default Demo home page) separately?
Thanks.
Thanks for that – this link only has the demos, not the Layersliders.
Is there somewhere we can download the Layerslider for the 2017 demo to import? It did not come through on the demo import.
Hi Guys,
For the purposes of moving this along to debug this issue can you please provide the manual workaround for this?
I’ve seen that over the years on these support forums, that the automatic one-click demo import is an issue with Enfold. I’ve read some threads on how to import manually, however there do not seem to be direct links to updated Theme Settings or Layerslider Settings. Can you please let me know where to find these files? I’m not confident that the one-click demo import will be bug free into the future, and the manual workaround seems to be the best option. Does the Enfold Theme Download come with these files? If not can you please provide an updated resource of all demo Demo Theme Settings for the manual demo imports to work properly. Please provide:
1. Enfold 2017 Theme Settings
2. Enfold 2017 LayersliderIf possible please let me know where to get these files at any point in time.
I have followed the thread for the manual demo import, however those two files are expired:
Go to Tools > Import > select WordPress (it should install the plugin if you don’t have it yet), then I imported the enfold 2017 xml file which you can find in enfold\includes\admin\demo_files (folder), enfold-2017.xml, that should import all the pages and needed files. Then go to Enfold > Import/Export > Import Theme Settings File then import the theme settings file (use the files below). Then go to Layerslider WP > Import Slider and import the slider using the file below. Hope this helps :)
Enfold 2017 Theme Settings: https://uploadfiles.io/krd0z (EXPIRED)
Enfold 2017 Layerslider: https://uploadfiles.io/89h60 (EXPIRED)Thanks.
An update – here is what our web host said.
=========================
I was able to replicate this however I couldn’t see anything from our systems blocking the theme upload.
The best way to get this one working may be to manually upload it in zip format. There are no errors coming up in the LiteSpeed error log or Mod_security, also none coming up in the WP error log or the cPanel error log.
I am not sure where else to check for anything that may be restricting this demo upload. Uploading the theme as a zip and then importing it in should work as that’s the normal case
=========================
Are there alternate ways to upload a demo? Or is there something happening you can see that is causing an error?

}Hey thanks for getting back. We add it in the theme editor.
Hi Rikard,
Thank you. Yes, I am aware of how to show and hide options. This does not solve the error of that giant thumbnail. We would like this still visible as the small ones down the page.
Can you let us know what is happening here and what the fix is?
You can see this correspondence started a long time ago with never a resolve.
Thanks.
KevinHi,
This is still an issue.
When logged in, and I click on ALL POSTS the post list has a massive photo instead of a thumbnail. How do I get this back to where the blog posts just have a small thumbnail photo.
Please login to see. You will notice this happens on the first 13 or so, and the rest have small thumbnails.
Everything is up-to-date.
Thanks.
KevinNever mind, figured it out – sorry!
