    HI again,

    I tried that and changed it in both files but then it broke so that when I was reading a single post and clicked on the ‘blog’ header it went to a ‘404’ instead of the blog page. I also tried to turn off the ‘blog’ selection in the theme area but then it just went back to the old error (going back to the home page instead of the blog page). Hmmmm. Any other ideas? This seems like this should just be part of the regular functionality because that’s how wordpress works in general.

    Yes, I am aware of the plugin. It would not be my first choice to have to install a plugin for what should be regular wordpress functionality though. It seems like there needs to be edit to the code so that it behaves correctly. I can use the plugin but would request that this be a fix in future versions.

    Nope. Unfortunately, this is how far I had gotten before. By making the ‘news/blog’ page the ‘blog’ setting it now overrides all the page settings for the blog. So you can see that the blog page no longer shows just the excerpt and read more link as I have set it to. It also is displaying every single post instead of just the posts from the blog category. So this is not going to work. I really need this to behave as any other blog page in WordPress would where I can set which category I want it to pull blog posts from and also show only excerpts and read more link. So I still need your help on this. Thanks.

    Sorry I had missed this. I ended up going with a different solution because I couldn’t get it to look right.

    Thanks. I ended up creating a local php.ini file instead and that seems to work.

    Thanks. I had already done that before writing support. The folks at GoDaddy say they do not have a php.ini file on the server (I have no way to see beyond my shared hosting folder). Often when I download a theme it will have its own php.ini file but Enfold does not. Am I able to just create my own php.ini to add memory for that parameter? The megamenu folks are suggesting 3000 instead of 1000.

    Thanks for the link. I just got another error that said ‘no server response’ when I tried again. So I guess I’ll have to try it from somewhere else but would have thought three separate locations using two different providers would have been enough. Maybe I’ll have to use this as an excuse to go get a coffee at Starbucks and try again. Hopefully, it will work from there ; )

    Just tried it using my wireless device too which is a different ip and I still get the same error (also tried from a different browser). I can’t even get there from my iPhone which is yet another location. This is very strange. I’m not sure what else I can do. By any chance is there a contact email for them so I might see if they have any ideas on why I wouldn’t be able to get to their site?

    The error says: Chrome could not connect to fontello.com (same with safari)

    Weird. I’ve been trying for a week and it still doesn’t work. Is it not Mac friendly perhaps?
