    Hi, Josue and everybody:

    Thank you very much for your answer (in spanish is easier for me). I will remove this file previously to upload again.

    Only one more question: In next updates, Will I should to do the same? It isn’t a bother, It’s only for avoiding new blocks.

    Best regards!

    Hi, Devin:

    Thanks for the idea. I will try with this option, using a menu in the socket.

    Another question for Devin. Searching in this support forums about login, I found a post that links to your personal web. I read the way to show and hide the login in the menu. Then I went to your login for seeing the appearence and I found under password field a captcha like the enfold’s contact forms (4+2=?)

    How can I insert this kind of captcha in the login in same way of your login?

    Thanks again!

    Best regards!

    in reply to: Megamenu deleted – I can't access to Appearence > Menu #180937

    Hi, Kriesi team:

    I don’t know why (because I’m not a developer) but the problem is the path. When I click in Appearence > Menu, i can’t access because the path is:

    (my web) /wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=0&lang=

    But I can access withouth problems to the menu section if I write “es” or “en” at the end of the path in that way:

    (my web) /wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=0&lang=en
    (my web) /wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=0&lang=es

    After entering in the menu section, I have rebuild the megamenu and sincronize between languages without problems. Besides, The language switch has been restored.

    I don’t know if it’s an enfold problem. My knowledge is very limited. I only inform you what is working for me.

    I set this post as public for other enfold customers with the same problem.

    Thanks again and regards!

    Of course.

    The sections linked in megamenu are sections only for the tittle, composed by a question and a phrase with a background image.

    First, the case that works good, if I point to a section of the same page.

    http://subefotos.com/ver/?6af6beb824ceccc51abe91b950be6a7ao.jpg

    Then, the case that doesn’t work as expected, if I point to a section of a different page.

    http://subefotos.com/ver/?ed1804d9b8870ec2094ec154065f2982o.jpg

    I hope we can do something in order to solve it.

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Change H Tag Styling #128747

    I also want to change the caps and make it non-capitals for the H tags.

    How could we do it?

    Thanks!

    Edit: This code doesn’t work for me neither “quick css box” nor “appearance > editor > stylesheet”

    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, {

    text-transform: none !important;

    }

    Good! It works almost perfectly.

    Only a detail. I’m using the fixed and shrinking header. When I click in the link of the megamenu, it sends me to the expected section but the beginning of the section is beyond and beneath the fixed header and I can’t read the tittle. It happens only when I’m going from one page section to another page section (Home > Explore or Explore > Home). With sections in the same page, enfold scrolls smoothly to the beginning of the expected section without problems.

    What would be ideal for me is to take down the beginning of the section the same space occupied by the fixed header.

    Thanks again

    And regards!

    Hi:

    Sorry for the misunderstanding. My english isn’t very good. :)

    This is the hierarchy of the website.

    Page: Home (doesn’t appear in main menu, only by clicking in the logo in fixed nav bar or typing the url)

    -Section1: reasons

    -Section2: steps

    Page: Explore

    -Section1: ideas

    -Section2: contributions

    -Section6:team

    -Section7:plans

    I want the same megamenu in both pages (Home and Explore).

    Until now, if I’m browsing “Explore” and I hover the megamenu and click in “steps” link in the megamenu hoping to reach the section2 of Home page, it can’t reach the “steps” section in “Home” page because my WP write “#steps” at the end of the path for “Explore” page and nothing happens.

    In other words, I can’t reach the sections of different pages and this is what I want: reach sections of a different page that i’m browsing. Currently, I’m using sections but I don’t mind about dividing the content in sections or pages. With pages the megamenu works perfect, of course, and I’m asking myself if there is any way for showing different pages one below other in a continuum mode, similar to sections. If this is an option, I don’t care for using pages.

    Something like that:

    Parent page: Home (doesn’t appear in main menu, only by clicking in the logo in fixed nav bar)

    -subpage1: reasons (content of subpages shown one after the other)

    -subpage2: steps (the end of the contents for that block)

    Parent page: Explore

    -subpage1: ideas (content of subpages one after the other)

    -subpage2: contributions (content of subpages one after the other)

    -subpage6:team (content of subpages one after the other)

    -subpage7:plans (the end of the contents for that block)

    Thanks for helping.

    Regards!

    Hi!

    Thanks for the reply.

    Sorry, I haven’t explained well my request. In the “main_menu” I have an only menu-item: “Explore”. This menu-item contains the megamenu. In this megamenu I want to put links that send to sections that belongs to two pages: “Home” and “Explore”:

    column1

    -link for a section called “reasons” that belongs to “Home” page

    -link for a section called “steps” that belongs to “Home” page.

    column2, 3 and 4

    -links for the sections that belongs to “Explore” page.

    My intention is every link in the megamenu to every sections mentioned above are visible and clickable, operational in every page, no matter where they belongs. In other words, while I’m browsing “Explore”, I want to click “reasons” in the megamenu and change from “explore” page to “home” page, where the “reasons” section belongs.

    Is it possible?

    Regards!

    in reply to: Custom hosted font with the child theme: Instructions #123814

    Hi!

    Sorry for the delay. I’m very busy.

    The font is “free sans”. It’s very similar to helvetica. No problem about sharing the name of the font, it’s shown in my second-to-last post: freesans.eot, etc.

    Could someone says me if the css code previously posted has any errors?

    Thanks.

    Regards!

    in reply to: Custom hosted font with the child theme: Instructions #123812

    You don’t help me. What you say is what I read one and another time: generic explanations. No needs a support forum for finding this kind of answer.

    I asked some specific questions in order to solve this trouble but you didn’t answer these questions.

    If I try with

    @font-face {

    font-family: DeliciousRoman;

    src: url(http://www.font-face.com/fonts/delicious/Delicious-Roman.otf);

    font-weight:400;

    }

    I will be calling to font-face.com site and I dont want to do that. What I don’t know is how to point to my hosted fonts and I wrote the snnipets employed waiting get corrections.

    Before I purchase the enfold theme, Kriesi says that his team would take care of me with this and other questions that I asked him and all I recieve until now is a pair of generic links, not a really specific answer for my needs. So, should I ask him in themeforest site about my font-face problems?

    in reply to: Custom hosted font with the child theme: Instructions #123810

    Sorry to bother you.

    I looked “How do I use fontface” but I thought that I only would have to use this kind of path if I want to point to a external hosted font, like google fonts.

    I want to host the font in my hosting service and put it in the child theme for avoiding loss in future theme updates. So I put the /font folder in /enfold-child folder using filezilla. So:

    wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/ (herein I put the font in different formats)

    Is it wrong? Do you recommend me other path?

    Then, I went to WP appearance > editor of Enfold-child and edited the style.css with this snippets:

    /*

    Theme Name: Enfold Child

    Description: A Child Theme for [mysite]. An easy way for doing a lot of file modifications and have no problems with the updates.

    Version: 2.0

    Author: Victoria

    Author URI: http://kriesi.at

    Template: enfold

    */

    /*Add your own styles here:

    */

    @import url(“../enfold/style.css”);

    @font-face {

    font-family: ‘freesans’;

    src: url(‘

    http://[mysite].org/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/freesans.eot’); /* IE9 Compat Modes */

    src: url(‘

    http://[mysite].org/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/freesans.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’), /* IE6-IE8 */

    url(‘

    http://[mysite].org/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/freesans.woff’) format(‘woff’), /* Modern Browsers */

    url(‘

    http://[mysite].org/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/freesans.ttf’) format(‘truetype’), /* Safari, Android, iOS */

    url(‘

    http://[mysite].org/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font/freesans.svg#freesans’) format(‘svg’); /* Legacy iOS */

    }

    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox {

    font-family: ‘freesans’, ‘HelveticaNeue’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

    }

    I tried [mysite] with and without the previous 3w [www.]

    It’s still not working :(

    What is wrong?

    Thanks again.

    Hi, Devin:

    Before I posted, I had read a lot about fontface. Now I’ve read the links that you propose too. I’ve tried to run fontface and it doesn’t work for me. My previous doubts remains.

    1- Where Do I have to put the /font folder? I’ve created a folder in child theme: “/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/font”. Should I move the font folder to other place?

    2- How Do I have to write the url path? Starting with “/font”? Starting with “..”? Starting with “http://”?

    Thanks!

    Regards.

    I agree entirely.

    Hi again:

    The WPML devs give me this code for theme functions.php, and it works well.

    function new_nav_menu_items($items,$args) {
    if (function_exists('icl_get_languages')) {
    $languages = icl_get_languages('skip_missing=0');
    if(1 < count($languages)){
    foreach($languages as $l){
    if(!$l['active']){
    $items = $items.'<li class="menu-item"><a href="'.$l['url'].'"> '.$l['native_name'].'</a>';
    }
    }
    }
    }
    return $items;
    }
    add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_items', 'new_nav_menu_items',10,2 );

    I hope It can be useful for other Enfold users.

    in reply to: WPML Language Selector Text Instead of Flag #122706

    Hi,

    1- I don’t want to use WPML dropdown selector. I want to replace the flags with only text name and show it in the shrinking fixed header as another button, closer but over to the right to “home” and other buttons (similar to the “contact” position in this support website). It is possible?

    2- My intention is show only the “Spanish” button when visitors are seeing the site in “English” language. If they click “Spanish”, the site will change to Spanish language and only shows the “English” button. I found the following css rules but i still can’t tested.

    #[name of element] li {

    display:block;

    }

    #[name of element] li.active {

    display:none;

    }

    This rules will work?

    What is the [name of the element] for WPML text name?

    3- I’m using the Enfold child theme. I’m a newcomer to the web design. How should I modify the child theme in order to prevent the loss of this changes from later theme updates? I saw the Devin’s video tutorial for child theme and I suppose that I have to copy-paste wp-contentthemesenfoldconfig-wpmlconfig.php to wp-contentthemesenfold-childconfig-wpmlconfig.php and then modify the lines specified by Dude. I’ll be grateful for confirming this point.

    I don’t want to modify anything that I can break. :)

    Thanks.

    Regards!

    Hi,

    I think Enfold is superb. I took a look at the other kriesi themes and I found “archive timeline” of Incarnation theme. I need something similar in order to show future events that I will hold for my clients. It would be perfect with the specific dates showed for each event in a squared small frame on the left. Something like that:

    Is it possible the integration of “archive timeline” in Enfold? It’s a very useful tool for Enfold customers. As proof of this, I found some of them requesting for this feature in the previous posts.

    In any case, very good job!

    Thanks in advance.
