Yes, Layer Slider get updated with the theme. Enfold 4.5.1 has the latest version of the Layer Slider in it.

Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

Do you mean you want to underline the menu item once it’s hovered over or when it’s clicked?

Well, as the element used is the content slider, it assigns the same height to the slide elements, but the content height is different and it is even seen on the desktop. And so the height remains like that on the mobile screen sizes.

Well, you can remove add the custom icon, here is how to do it

Add WhatsApp icon (also for desktop)

and hide all the other social icons there.
