You can set the tab content to align to to the top, not the middle and the space will be gone.

These are not Enfold menu classes menu-flyout dw-mega-menu-hover

You are using the menu plugin, please disable it and see if the issue persists.

The link is added as the menu item and it will be hidden. It you add the link in the widget in the custom widget area in the header you can have it still show on mobile.
