They are both in the same png file and so it cannot be hidden separately. They have to be separate elements, so that one can be hidden.

Which Enfold are you running? The custom classes did break in Enfold 4.6, but I think they were fixed in the later version.

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

Yes, I managed to login somehow. You need to remove this section https://cl.ly/3061e2e2dfd6 from the Theme options > Advanced Styling all the way at the bottom and save the theme options.

Yes, of course, I understood all of the above from the original reply. But the thing is I do not see the excerpt rendered in the html and so you cannot really have it in the overlay, even if you could JavaScript to move it to the overlay. This is why I gave you the link to the thread where you can see how the excerpts can be added.

Yes, proper css is a way better solution than the screen options. Screen options are good for the cases when adequate css solution cannot be found.

You have the footer.php in your child theme, which version of the theme is it coming from? Did you update it when you updated the theme?
